I’m still binge watching, and I gotta say the appreciation I have for the playlists is next level!!! At the beginning of this whole thing, I had to scroll for minutes at a time to get to the year 1 vlogs. Then it hit me....when I saw Kara’s desktop and when I realized that she edits... (well, it slapped me in the face real hard actually...) >>>

Any plans to explore more of UK and if so please venture outside the capitals, you should research Liverpool in North West England (I used to live there and could always help with what to do) the people there are great and like Americans due to a former WW2 air base just outside of the city.
Anyway I am sure you get loads of suggestions. Great vids keep it up!!!

I went to AUS about 4 years for a month and loved it! You need to spend more time in Sydney, so much to do and see! Also, you need to go up the coast to Brisbane because it's beautiful!!!! Also, you should go to the outback! I hope you guys to go back!

You know, I'm a little sad that we're leaving Asia too. I really enjoyed getting to see what life is like, and it was quite an experience. However, I'm really very excited for Australia and New Zealand! I've always wanted to go, ever since I was a little, so I'm super excited to see it from your perspective!

I am bloody amazed that Kara didnt lose her fish......and I felt sorry for the gulls not getting their leftover chips.
I will never forget my first fish and chips, when I as a 19 yo went to England (from Finland) as an au-pair. My lovely host family took me on a short day trip to Windsor and we sat on a bench outside of the castle eating with our hands. It was such an amazing experience. Best food ever

As an Aussie, I am glad you can here directly after Asia. Traffic there is crazy and then you get here and got pedestrians to have right of way. Kara discovers Australian individual squeeze sauces.

Kara's Aussie accent was 'interesting'.:-) It's thought the accent comes from the east side of London where most of Sydney's original convicts came from. I lived in Sydney for 25 years before moving to the UK and I still have to listen carefully. Great video and loads of memories.
Watching it in 2020. And I particularly love this segment after the Thank You part. I clearly heard Kara's aghast exclamation at Nate for leaving her food exposed to the birds!! Hahahaha. Literally heard her pronouncing every syllables of Nate's name, which by the way there isn't much. Hahahaha.
Okay you guys have to come back and do Australia properly - the West Coast is amazing! Perth, Esperance, Broome... and not to mention all the different wineries of Australia! Oh man you guys could do van life in Aus... drive across the Nullabor! (am just dreaming my own holidays now)

haha, I'm from London and you sound like a very bad cockney accent from Oliver Twist or Mary Poppins! People do get London Cockney accent and Aussie accent mixed up a lot though as they can sound similar in some things! Even looked like a proper English fish and chip.

It's honestly not that expensive, just don't go to the heavily touristy areas where they can price things up a bit. Sometimes a bit of exploration can arrive with a bargain

You guys need to visit Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast sometime!

Omg Kara! Lol! 🤣 I have had the same exact experience happen to me with the back bus doors!! But it happened to me on honeymoon in Zadar, Croatia! 🤣 So freaking scary at the time and was so angry at the bus driver as he almost took off at the same time and I was handing my husband my bags! But thank God I can laugh about it now lol 😆

Before you landed in Australia, had you learned to say "G'day"? : ))) I've always said it sounds like British with a touch of American Southern sprinkled in.
I've also had that weird experience of thinking of it as strange to once again hear English. It's interesting how our minds work, isn't it?
Kara, ya did a good job, might, o' speakin' "Strine". Even if you have to get it online when you get home, you need to look for a little paperback called "Let stalk Strine", which spells things the way they're pronounced in Australia. It's hilarious!
