Absolutely loved this especially those who want great sounds and overall fantastic use without breaking the bank! I wore it for 3hrs straight after purchasing, including went to the gym and I barely feel it. It's so lightweight, and doesn't hurt my ears. Totally an underrated pair and makes you wonder why people would wanna spend over $300+ for a pair of headphones. This comes as a no brainer for me and honestly not having ANC isn't that much big of a deal for me - i still love to hear my surrounds during my walk and commute anyway for safety reasons!
What about bass?Is it good while working out?

I still use my MDR-ZX110 (wired) headphones almost every day (I bought them in July 2017 and they've been through HELL) and they're still going strong. The plastic wore off the ear pads and now they're just the black foam but...no big deal. I'm old school, I like aux cords and phone jacks. However, I had also the 510s and loved them as well, but lost them...I'm excited for the 520s.

Hiii! How are these when it comes to sound bleed? Can others hear you when the volumes high up? And would you still recommend them?
@@nausheen04 nope! Infact these are super quite even at Max. So 3 days ago I was making a pack of ramen and it was kinda hot in kitchen so I removed these headphones from ear and kept them around my neck, now what I usually do is play any phonk at Max so that I could hear the song like a mini speaker but this was with my old headphones, these are super quite and trust me nobody will hear anything at all.
Yes I would recommend these if you want great battery life, good sound, light weight and comfort.
Sound and comfort is good (better than what other headphones provide in the same budget)but battery life is just excellent!
Another thing I would like to mention is that your country might have some other brands which might suit you better so try watching the review, as I've said, the review is all the stuff you wanna know before buying these headphones and if this video checks all the boxes, go for these headphones, won't disappoint:)

For movies these are wonderful, tbh I do not watch that many movies but for TH-cam and stuff, these are really good!
bought them at a little discount yesterday since my on-the-go wired apple earphones died. now I'm here to justify my purchase even tho I'm loving the Sony's. i think i just have to get used to them being on-ear since the ones I use on the computer are overear. the sound quality of these Sony's are really fair for what you're paying for.

@@owwmaan688 Over-ear headphones cover the ear completely, so that your ears are snug inside the cushions, and they usually have a noise cancelling option. These ones are on-ear, which means they are just about as big as the ear, just sitting on it without going "over it", and without the noise cancelling option. They probably feel a little goofy at first, if you're switching from bigger ones, but that doesn't mean they're bad, just that it takes time to adjust to the difference.
Wild that they are that expensive when i bought them for 800rand in South Africa currency which is 42USD but i am still waiting for my order to arrive

@4:26 This is what I needed to know. I bought a pair of Ausdom last year @Walmart I think a Chinese brand for about $40 within a few months I went to put them on casually or normally and the plastic snapped on one side. So I got out the duct tape they still worked a few months later the other side snapped so I got both sides taped the problem is it too loose and they slip now. The audio of those headphones was never a problem, but plastic material was too cheap. So I'm looking at pair of Sony thinking they use better materials.
Excellent headphones, got it for 3,600 Indian rupee or 44 USD. Versatile, doesn't get uncomfortable or hot. Can worn for long time.

I don't understand the USB-C to USB-C statement. I don't think I have anything that could plug into. USB-A can plug into my computer or many other places.
Most computers now have USB C. Mine does at the back of the motherboard. C to C offers much higher data transfer rates and charge times. Why stay with old tech?
The problem with these headphones (and other similar models) is the bracket, which if it breaks, easily in its weak connection to the headband, there is no replacement by Sony, and you end up having headphones that you cannot use because you cannot change a simple part. It happens a frecuently, just have to take a look on the web.
El problema con estos auriculares (y otros modelos similares) es el bracket, que si se rompe, fácilmente en su débil unión a la diadema, no hay reemplazo por parte de Sony, y acabas por tener unos auriculares que no puedes usar por no poder cambiarle una simple pieza.

Omg I just returned the JBL 520 headphones and bought the Sony headphones. They don't have Anc, so they don't block out noise like the Sony headphones does
The Sony headphones I bought was the Sony ch720 not the 520. I love them, one of the best headphones I have used.

I was actually doing both in 2 separate shots. Admittedly the lateral raises look odd, as if my arms are bending at the elbows but it's due to the camera angle. I had limited space in my home gym and the camera cropping factor made a better recording angle unachievable. I hope you'll trust I aim for good technique and full range of motion, not bro ego lifting 😅

But the 520 is on the ear, the ear cups literally rest on the ears.
Over the ear headphones (like the Sony XM5) have ear cushions that allow ears to rest inside the ear cup. The cushion encompasses the ears.
