Sometimes they get tapped by mistake - when I'm stretching, for example. But the audio quality is really good! The best I've heard for the price. I use them everyday and night. The battery backup is really good. The call quality is really nice as well!
I have two pairs. With the hey melody custom eq they sound great. Very wind resistant for phone calls and anc. Solid all around performer. The swipe vol controls are just so convenient. Also fit very close to ears and are Uber Comfortable.

I always wait for your verdict on these types of comparisons. It's a great and detailed comparison. By the way there's a new buds relased by CMF just a day or two earlier. I would love to hear your take on it. Great video keep it up!😁
I am currently using the oneplus buds 3 and I have to say it over delivers by a huge margin. The sound is shockingly clearer than Airpods or other premium tws. It has all the required features, looks stylish and sounds amazing for the price. They are going to be hard to compete with this time

Which one would you pick? Edifier tws1 pro 2 for 30 dollars or qcy ht05 melobuds for 20 dollars? I would like the best ANC, sound and confort Good video
I really like the engine 4 tuning and it is more of an IEM style tuning. Definitely a 9/10 maybe higher. I’m yet to compare them directly to the other buds
I just bought a brand new soundcore Liberty 4 NC for only $53 shipped last week (during the 3.3 sale from soundcore's official store at an online shopping platform), this video made me even happier with the purchase. Great-sounding earbuds for the money, using it to alternate with my already aging yet still capable Soundpeats H1. Terrific app as well that's easy to use!
Thanks again for the great summary. My only recommendation to make these comparisons even better would be a summary at the end for each one. Maybe 2 things good and bad each, so maybe 4th place doesn’t have the best ANC or call quality, but topped the pack in battery life and controls customization or something. I know your spreadhseet allows this type of comparison, but this could help some people. Just an idea. Great work
Thank you for the great video. Personally, multipoint and a low-latency mode have become an absolute requirement. I have the Earfun's and Soundpeats and am happy with both. I also have big ears and have never had a more secure earbud than the Earfun's. The Sounpeats are super-comfortable and great for music.
Love this! This is the most detailed review I've seen. I bought Samsung Galaxy Buds FE. The most cheap yet the best buds I've used since. I bought a Huawei free buds pro, but it had been useless ever since they released a software update. Also, it's pricey but comparable to Buds FE. I've also used Airpods generation 2, but I dropped it 2 times, so the battery had since been worn out.
Thanks for the scoring sheet! I'm not super picky about audio because I don't use them for music much, rather podcasts. So it's mostly about controls and comfort for me, since I can listen for over 6 hours straight a day. I need to be able to skip easily, adjust volume or quickly take an earbud out if someone needs my attention. I prefer stemmed earbuds because if not, they always feel like they're falling out. My favorites for since 2020 have been Soundcore Life P2. Unfortunately they've been discontinued so now I need to find my new go-to. Again, the spread sheet is awesome. Thanks for putting in the work!
I love my liberty 4 NCs. The impressive noise cancelling was my main priority, but I've been pleased with sound quality as well with some minor tweaking to the sound profile.
I've purchased 4 sets of Earfun Free Pro 2 & 3s within the last 2 years and unfortunately after +4-6months time have had all 4 buds/cases stop charging. Usually one bud refuses to stay charged longer than 2 minutes then the all case stops charging. Same problem all 4 sets. Use to love these. Had 2 pairs purchased before COVID & was very happy with these. Unfortunately lost 2 cases over time. But now these are problematic.
c700n is the most balanced ear buds of them all. It doesnt have the long stick protruding from the ear, its subtle, its comfortable and sound quality is great. I just wished sony's quality control wasnt so bad. I bought the sage green c700n and the black ones also. The black ones have been working flawlessly from day one. The sage green one started giving problems after I updated the firmware, the left earbud no longer works, wont even charge. I havent updated the firmware on the black ones and dont intend to for fear of problems. So far the black ones work/sound flawless and are very comfortable, im talking 8+ hours with it in my ears, no problem, doesnt slip out, doesnt make my ears itch. It just fits and works.

Your reviews are out of this world! Thank you❤ My phone is sumsung galaxy A55 that supports LDAC, would you recommend liberty 4nc or oneplus buds 3 for better sound quality? Cause oneplus only supports LHDC
Fantastic summary. Could you please consider doing JABRA 8 ACTIVE review? I work construction and almost all ANC buds have zero dust resistance. Im just returning my Galaxy Buds 2 Pro because dust got in microphone and destroyed ANC. I'm thinking about 8 active as they the only robust earbuds I've seen but I'm worried about downgrade in transparency mode. I have Space A40 and they have transparency but it's very bad.
Thank you! I have no plans but I don’t know many buds with a dust proof rating so they’re probably your only option. I quickly compared to transparency of the A40 and 8 active for you. The 8 active is slightly better than the A40 but the buds2 pro are better overall with less occlusion as well.
How do these compare to the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 2's? They're currently around $100 and I'm thinking about buying them. (I only care about Sound Quality.)
wow love your review although i saw the low latency game mode feature so i would love it if you can also also test them out too please since there are no videos about them that i know of on youtube ❤️
It’s clear the OnePlus buds 3 is going to win and rightfully so. I wanted to get them but they don’t go on sale in my country whereas the 4NC does. It was $129 vs $34 (after platform vouchers) so the choice was obvious. Tho I’d still love to try the buds 3 one day :)
It would be amazing if you measured the latency during gaming (make sure to compare it to wired as even wired options do have delay when gaming), it was an important topic for me during my purchasing decision yet what I had to do is purchase a bunch of earbuds, test them myself, return the ones I did not like Practically no reviewer does it, most just mention whatever bogus number/feature manufacturer provided, for example the gaming mode on Liberty NC 4 barely does anything, you gain more by switching to LDAC codec as it provides superior latency Another example is Earfun Free Pro 3, they advertise a gaming mode, but the best latency performance is achieved through switching to aptX Adaptive codec (requires a phone with said codec), however what you get in the end is still just decent I get that all of it is quite niche and might be not worth your time, but at least in my eyes (I know, who cares) that would elevate you above the rest
Yep this is true! I’ve been measuring it for a while, using Kenneth Tanaka’s method actually. But the advertised latency is never true it’s usually 4 times higher haha!
@@pickyaudio Kenneth Tanaka method is pretty good imo, it gives you good visual representation of what to expect while the actual testing is relatively simple The only thing missing is testing for different codecs or things like pairing OnePlus earbuds with OnePlus phone vs non-OnePlus and seeing if there's any difference in latency (even more obscure stuff though, especially for channels focused on reviewing audio and not phones)
Thanks for the review, I'm considering my options and I'm glad my options all score in the top tier of your list. Also I think you might want to consider adding battery longevity. I know it's difficult because it takes longer time to post updated review but I think it will be useful and add more value to your review. For reference I've been using Galaxy Buds Live regularly since its first release (2020) and it's still going strong (needs more frequent charging but still working fine), while my Sony WF-1000XM3 (also bought on release in 2019) already lost its charging capability and become a useless paperweight.
Thank you so much for this video! One earphone for my Sony WF-1000XM4 just started having its battery tank, going from full charge to zero in like 45 minutres. I wanted to get a new pair but not pay as much (especially if it wont last two years) ane this video really helped me! Going to get the One Plus Buds 3.
Very well done, I went through the whole video great & hard work, for me sound quality does not matter as I have to listen to online lectures only. To me Call Quality and Noise Cancellation matters and correct me if I am wrong. Redmi Buds 5 Pro are the best choice. Please recommend
Thank you so much for this video. I used Bose Soundsport for years, but they sadly broke. I cannot find ANYTHING cheap or expensive that is comparable to that sound. I listen to classical, opera, and Broadway music, but most earbuds don't cater to that big instrumental sound. I am leaning toward the 1+ buds or SC Liberty, but do you know anything that has that clarity of sound the Bose has? They discontinued the ones I have or I would rebuy them. I will absolutely use your link when I make a purchase!
Extraordinarily impressed by your research, mate. A truly phenomenal video. I always sleep with my Bose QC 35 II (due to my extraordinarily noisy neighbors) and I wonder if you could suggest any of these earbuds to replace them, considering both the required comfort to sleep on the side, and no random settings activated by pressure, in contact with the pillow. I realize it´s probably a complicated question, but I would certainly appreciate if you gave me your educated opinion. :) Cheers!
I have the redmi buds 5 pro, but I Want to buy the soundcore liberty 4 NC, can you tell me which of them do you prefer and why please? Should I stay with the redmi buds 5 pro?
Hey mate I love your reviews. You seriously go IN DEPTH 😅 Above and beyond most others. And all the effort you go to putting all the links below WOW 👌 Your spreadsheets just top it all off, never seen anyone else do that. Thanks man and keep up the great work 👍
Going a bit nuts trying to figure out which budget buds to buy. In your opinion what would you choose for best sound quality and NC between CMF Buds pro, CMF Buds, 1More Piston buds Q30 or Earfun Air Pro. Any advice appreciated.
This video is an absolute miracle. That's a whole proejct. AMAZING job and thank you for the great info! Would you say the Buds FE really can't take sweat well? I know they are labeled as not very water resistant but I've heard of people dropping them in water and them working perfectly fine after
Hi James, this week is Ashfaq from Pakistan, I am also reviewing the earbuds locally launched in my country, and I want to learn your testing criteria, so that I can guide my viewers accordingly.
I am using oneplus bud 3 and they are awesome just one thing i like to point out is if you are using oneplus 3D audio then it will be better to turn off dolby atmos settings in your mobile for eg. I have S22 ultra and its dolby settings were on because of that some song felt very wierd to hear
8:05 My CMF BudsPro don't have multipoint connectivity. Is that a spreadsheet error on your end or has CMF rolled out an update in Australia but not here in India?
I have the CMF Buds Pro 2 and I love them! My boyfriend has the Redmi Buds 5, but wants to replace them with a pair of Buds Pro 2, because the ANC isn't the best and the touch controls are too sensitive for his liking.
Good video as always. I have a Soundcore P20i I'm currently I charge it with charger and cable of my Smartphone that has a 60W fast charge. Do you think this is bad for the headphones?
Picked up the Redmi Buds 5 pro a week ago and I think I've made a good choice in my personal opinion and according to this video, they just have an amount of noise when in Noice cancelling/transparency mode
I love my one plus buds 3 , they sound so good. Bass is deep and gets low w no distortion mids and highs are bright and detailed. I Sold all my airpods pros and replaced them w one plus buds. Airpods pro 2 sound like crap next to the one plus buds 3
Hello. Please recommend headphones in the price range up to 100$. Needed for listening to heavy rock and mettal in the gym, talking on my cell phone with headphones and for concentrated work at home against the background noise of the family (for this I prefer noise-modifier and quiet music in my ears). Preferences: - Not bad headphone sound - Good ANC - Good microphone (I plan to talk in not very noisy places) Considering buying the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE - discounted price €63.60. P.s. Also looking at ONEPLUS Buds 3 (110€ - don't want to overpay) and Realme Buds Air 5 Pro (€74.99), as well as Soundcore Liberty 4 at a discounted price of €59.00.
I read a lot of good reviews about Oneplus buds 3, but how do they play without the LHDC codec? I don’t have such a codec on my phone, is it worth buying them or is it better to buy Liberty 4NC? I listen mainly to instrumental music (rock, metal) and soundtracks. Sometimes electronics.
Correct me if I'm wrong but the best value seems to be the SoundPeats Air 4 Pro. I was considering the Anker Soundcore Liberty 4NC (which costs around 65€) but for 40€, the SoundPeats are a better deal since I don't care about call quality and they seem to be a better option on almost all the other categories...

Crazy how much effort you have put into this video. You earned a subscriber man. Respect 👍🏻
How do these compare to the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 2's? They're currently around $100 and I'm thinking about buying them. (I only care about Sound Quality.)
the cmf buds pro 2 are insane value and by far the best looking ones
wow love your review although i saw the low latency game mode feature so i would love it if you can also also test them out too please since there are no videos about them that i know of on youtube ❤️
One of the best audio vids I’ve experienced. Great job.
I love how the sound quality comes in the end
It’s clear the OnePlus buds 3 is going to win and rightfully so. I wanted to get them but they don’t go on sale in my country whereas the 4NC does. It was $129 vs $34 (after platform vouchers) so the choice was obvious. Tho I’d still love to try the buds 3 one day :)
I got the bud 3 for $100 👍. The L4nc also costs $100
Buds 3 is much better than 4NC sound quality wise. Highly recommend.
@@Zero-gb7lr Yeap you’re probably right but I couldn’t justify spending close to $100 more for the buds 3. $34 for the 4NC was too good to pass :’)
34$ was an amazing deal
It would be amazing if you measured the latency during gaming (make sure to compare it to wired as even wired options do have delay when gaming), it was an important topic for me during my purchasing decision yet what I had to do is purchase a bunch of earbuds, test them myself, return the ones I did not like
Practically no reviewer does it, most just mention whatever bogus number/feature manufacturer provided, for example the gaming mode on Liberty NC 4 barely does anything, you gain more by switching to LDAC codec as it provides superior latency
Another example is Earfun Free Pro 3, they advertise a gaming mode, but the best latency performance is achieved through switching to aptX Adaptive codec (requires a phone with said codec), however what you get in the end is still just decent
I get that all of it is quite niche and might be not worth your time, but at least in my eyes (I know, who cares) that would elevate you above the rest
Yep this is true! I’ve been measuring it for a while, using Kenneth Tanaka’s method actually. But the advertised latency is never true it’s usually 4 times higher haha!
@@pickyaudio Kenneth Tanaka method is pretty good imo, it gives you good visual representation of what to expect while the actual testing is relatively simple
The only thing missing is testing for different codecs or things like pairing OnePlus earbuds with OnePlus phone vs non-OnePlus and seeing if there's any difference in latency (even more obscure stuff though, especially for channels focused on reviewing audio and not phones)
Thanks for the review, I'm considering my options and I'm glad my options all score in the top tier of your list. Also I think you might want to consider adding battery longevity. I know it's difficult because it takes longer time to post updated review but I think it will be useful and add more value to your review.
For reference I've been using Galaxy Buds Live regularly since its first release (2020) and it's still going strong (needs more frequent charging but still working fine), while my Sony WF-1000XM3 (also bought on release in 2019) already lost its charging capability and become a useless paperweight.
this is elite. truly, respect sir!
Thank you 🙌
Thank you so much for this video!
I will absolutely use your link when I make a purchase!
what phones/computer did you use to test them? Can I assume it would be the same results on any android phone?
Thats alot of data. And easily good comparison. With pointers in each category. Thanks for making life easier for many. Keep the format up
Oneplus Buds 3 Has No Competition In Terms of Sound and ANC Within 100 Dollars!! Using It Since 7 Days. I am Amazed.
Awesome!
HUAWEI Freebuds (Pro) 3 is better. 😉
Cheers!
Change your neighborhood, not ur buds.
sleeping with buds on can lead to infections
soundcore liberty 4 nc is by far the best budget earbuds I've used
I am just impressed with the earfuns they did good against a tuff lineup
Yea they killed it!
I have the redmi buds 5 pro, but I Want to buy the soundcore liberty 4 NC, can you tell me which of them do you prefer and why please? Should I stay with the redmi buds 5 pro?
Hey mate I love your reviews. You seriously go IN DEPTH 😅
Above and beyond most others.
Thank you for another outstanding comparison, Picky! 👍
Thanks again!
This video is an absolute miracle. That's a whole proejct. AMAZING job and thank you for the great info! Would you say the Buds FE really can't take sweat well? I know they are labeled as not very water resistant but I've heard of people dropping them in water and them working perfectly fine after
Thanks! They should be fine just be sure to wipe them off after they get wet
@pickyaudio hey, in your opinion which one is better ? Realme Air 6 Pro or One plus buds 3 ?
Hi James, this week is Ashfaq from Pakistan, I am also reviewing the earbuds locally launched in my country, and I want to learn your testing criteria, so that I can guide my viewers accordingly.
I am using oneplus bud 3 and they are awesome just one thing i like to point out is if you are using oneplus 3D audio then it will be better to turn off dolby atmos settings in your mobile for eg. I have S22 ultra and its dolby settings were on because of that some song felt very wierd to hear
Good to know!
Is there a spin fit or other ear tip you’d recommend for the one plus buds? They’re 10/10 but the ear tip isn’t my favorite
Spinfit 1025s
I have the spinfit 1025 and they’re pretty good. Just look out for the right size.
Yep CP 1025 work great with more grip than the stock ear tips but a similar size/depth of fit
Soundcore liberty 4 nc or cmf buds pro 2? which is overall superior?
8:05 My CMF BudsPro don't have multipoint connectivity. Is that a spreadsheet error on your end or has CMF rolled out an update in Australia but not here in India?
That was an error, thanks for pointing that out I’ll update it
@@pickyaudio btw thank you so much for these videos man. they're genuinely helpful!
I have the CMF Buds Pro 2 and I love them! My boyfriend has the Redmi Buds 5, but wants to replace them with a pair of Buds Pro 2, because the ANC isn't the best and the touch controls are too sensitive for his liking.
Soundcore Liberty 4NC all the way! ❤️
Good video as always. I have a Soundcore P20i I'm currently I charge it with charger and cable of my Smartphone that has a 60W fast charge. Do you think this is bad for the headphones?
Should i rather go for the galaxy buds fe or nothing ear (2) ?
Picked up the Redmi Buds 5 pro a week ago and I think I've made a good choice in my personal opinion and according to this video, they just have an amount of noise when in Noice cancelling/transparency mode
Which best for calling??
Just bought the galaxy buds FE today for 50$. These are absolutely incredible, the transparency is really good and they have a nice balanced sound
How is the fit?
Between The Soundcore Liberty 4 and 4NC, which one is better?
Atleast a thumbs up for all this hard work and especially noticeable while checking mic quality, Changing all these mic one by one is a headache.
i got the galaxy buds fe couple days ago and it is really good👌
Absolute BEST review channel on TH-cam. I wish he rated cars, cities, restaurants, movies, and my dating options 😂
Hello, I need your urgent help. Do you think Xiaomi buds pro 5 or huawei freebuds 5i?
Nothing Ear A, One Plus Buds 3, or Liberty 4NC in your opinion?
Thanks for the awesome advice, would like to know what would you guys recommend between the soundcore libert 4 nc and the jbl tune flex ?
hi, I'm not sure which one of them to buy - oneplus buds 3 vs jbl free 2 , advice will help 🙂
I love my one plus buds 3 , they sound so good. Bass is deep and gets low w no distortion mids and highs are bright and detailed. I Sold all my airpods pros and replaced them w one plus buds. Airpods pro 2 sound like crap next to the one plus buds 3
Nice! Yea no contest against AirPods
Hello. Please recommend headphones in the price range up to 100$.
Needed for listening to heavy rock and mettal in the gym, talking on my cell phone with headphones and for concentrated work at home against the background noise of the family (for this I prefer noise-modifier and quiet music in my ears).
Preferences:
- Not bad headphone sound
- Good ANC
- Good microphone (I plan to talk in not very noisy places)
Considering buying the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE - discounted price €63.60.
P.s. Also looking at ONEPLUS Buds 3 (110€ - don't want to overpay) and Realme Buds Air 5 Pro (€74.99), as well as Soundcore Liberty 4 at a discounted price of €59.00.
One hell of a comparison excellent work mate
I read a lot of good reviews about Oneplus buds 3, but how do they play without the LHDC codec? I don’t have such a codec on my phone, is it worth buying them or is it better to buy Liberty 4NC? I listen mainly to instrumental music (rock, metal) and soundtracks. Sometimes electronics.
Yep, wing tips don't work for me too. I never could get samsung tips on the older buds to work. I think I'm gonna check out the earfun.
Giant ear problems 😅
Correct me if I'm wrong but the best value seems to be the SoundPeats Air 4 Pro. I was considering the Anker Soundcore Liberty 4NC (which costs around 65€) but for 40€, the SoundPeats are a better deal since I don't care about call quality and they seem to be a better option on almost all the other categories...
4 hours battery life.... The libery 4 NC doubles that.
