Love that you included that the air passes through the air for the CH520. I needed that. For over-ear headphone, my ear feels the heat as there's no air and would get very uncomfortable.
Just bought the 720s last week since I'm more used to over ears and I'm glad I went with them. How are the 520 for studying? can they block some noise like fan and etc. And are they comfortable enough to wear them for 3-4hrs straight with glasses?
Comfortable enough to wear for 3-4 hours with glasses - Yes. Depending on the volume of the headphones they can block out some noise but not all. I suggest you give them a go at a Sony store before investing.

Depends on how much traffic noise bothers you. If you want absolute isolation, then go for ANC. The passive NC of the 520 is enough to drown out small noises heard at home but not traffic.
Don't know if you've made your decision yet but I've been using the 520 for more than an year now and the lack of ANC is honestly its only downside. I want sound quality (bass heavy is preferred) and no sound leakage. I can buy 720 but does it make sense to pay almost double the price of 520? I'm fine with on the ear design of 520 if sound leakage is not that much. Also, I game only on windows so when connected wirelessly, is there any noticeable latency or pag issues? Are 720 worth paying those extra bucks if I don't care about noise cancellation or will i be fine with 520? Also on amazon 520 are not sold by their flagship seller so is it reliable or do i wait for appraprio to sell them?
if you will be playing games on the PC, then go for something with a physical connection like 3.5mm or a dedicated dongle to avoid latency. rest, I think you've answered most of your queries yourself. The 520 have once leakage but at high volumes, it is more than i'd like.
@@IdiotBox86 I don't play competitive games. Just some casual single player ones. Latency is not an issue but the less the better. Also i dont want different headphones for different use cases. Is leakage in 520 too much? Do you recommend 720 at their current price or do i wait for a sale ? I just want bang for my buck thats it.
I am a girl who just uses headphone for listening to music on the way to work and during meetings. So, I chose 520 and I pretty much like it. It is very basic but very light weight and comfortable. I am now looking for a headphone for my boyfriend with big head. I wanted to buy him 520 again cuz he is not very picky about noise cancellation . However, because of the size, I might have to choose 720N. I wish they would release 520 in bigger size with over ears.

While fit and comfort is a personal perference, I think you should listen to them offline to know which one you like better for sound quality. The JBL has 3.5mm but the Sony does not. This is one thing to consider.
If you only want to use it for calls, and no other reason, then you should check out headphones designed for calls as they will have a better mic. else, between these 2, go for the 520. I found them better for long term use.
Good option. But why not consider the Sony ULT as well for just a few thousand more? I have reviewed it on this channel. you can check it out here: th-cam.com/video/E-XxsNkiHnY/w-d-xo.html
Hello Your video is good. i am just looking for a headset/headphone which i can use for ms-teams , google meet, zoom calls, more than 6 hours a day. mic, audio quality should be good and should be comfortable for ears. can you please recommend a product for that regards

In my opinion, if it is just about sound, the 720 are better. I found a bit of EQ tuning dramatically opened them up, and removed some of the muddiness.
hello, just wanted to know as a student who is sharing a room with two others, without anc does the 520 still stop noises enough (esp people talking) for someone to be able to focus on studying?
Hey can you recommend me a headphone under 6-8k. I used to use tws but my ears hurts after 40-60min. I used to go to the gym and want a good sound quality. And please can you also recommend me a tws between 6-8k if my mind changes i will later decide which one i will buy.
I think you should go to an offline store and try the headphones/TWS to find the ones that fit your ears best. You can check out offerings from Sony, OPPO, and more. Since I go running, these are the ones I use amzn.to/47leNes. You can also check these out - amzn.to/3S2WupU
Hi! What about budjets? AKG K361-BT / Sony WH CH720N / JBL tune 770nc / something else. What would you recommend in this price? For music listening only (rock, blues, techno). Thanks a lot.
I personally haven't had a chance to hear the AKG K361-BT, but I hear they are very good for the price. I'd personally go for either the AKG or the Sony but hard to tell without listening to them. Maybe you can go offline and check them out at a store?
In my experience, they get the job done quite well. But I recommend you visit a local offline store near you and experience them before making a purchase decision.
Hi! Quick question. Has anyone tried wearing the Ch520 with glasses and smaller earrings on? I used to have this issue with my old headphones that it pressed my accessories to my ear and it hurt (esp. my earrings). Does anybody know if these are anything like that? Are they tight?
great questions. While I wear glasses, the headphones do press just a little when they are new. but with time, they get more comfortable. If you have piercings around the ear, it should hurt a bit as these are on ear and not around the ear headphones. Possible for you to visit a local offline store and try them out?
@@IdiotBox86 I'm searching for a store where I could try them on right now. I'll post some updates when I can visit one! (Either way, if they end up uncomfortable I think I'll just go with the 720N instead)
@@IdiotBox86 That really helps! I'm looking for something to wear for binge watching and on my route of travel! Thank you for this! Looking forward to save up and buy these✨️
I am very confused between the two options. I don't care much about ANC if the on-ear CH520 is more comfortable than the CH720N. I know on-ear headphones can hurt if worn for long hours, based on my experience from about 10 years ago. So, are the CH520 headphones comfortable enough for watching movies, or should I go for the CH720N since they are over-ear? The CH520 price is really good, and I'm hesitant to spend more on a budget headphone like the CH720N because, for that price, I could even get the Samsung Buds2 Pro. However, I want to try headphones rather than earbuds. Man, if only the CH520 were over-ear, it would be perfect. What would you suggest?
Would it be possible for you to visit an offline store and try them out? that will help you make a better decision. I would recommend the 520 for the price. sure, the pressure on the ears is a tad more than id like, especially since I wear glasses, but I think over time they will get loose enough to get comfortable.
@@IdiotBox86 No, it won't be possible for me to go to a store and check it, as that is not an option in my country. However, it's very interesting that you find the CH520 on-ear headphones more comfortable than the CH720N over-ear headphones. Almost everyone online and on Reddit seems to prefer over-ear headphones. It's intriguing that you find the CH520 on-ear headphones more comfortable for long hours of use
@@doctorsora I guess I have too big ears ;-). I find the WH1000-XM5s to be very comfortable because of my big ears. I always preferred on ear cos they let my ears breathe for long use. It does get very hot here in India and breathability is quite important for me.
both are good. Depends on your budget and requirements for noise cancellation. if you want noise cancellation then go for the 720. Otherwise the 520 are fantastic as well.
great review bro. Actually i have nothing ear 2 and i am looking for headphones under 10k for music and ANC. Are these pair of headphones better than nothing ear 2 in terms of sound quality and ANC? Nothing ear 2 supports LHDC whereas Sony is not even having LDAC. So i need your opinion on this bro
Hi, Great Review. Thumps up I am looking for good Sound Quality for day to day usage , i am not an audioprofile. just want to clarify if i should extend my budget and get the XM4 at Around 18K or Opt for 720N, is there a major difference in sound quality apart from much stronger ANC and other features or are they similar/close enough in terms of sound. I would prefer a bit of bass. Please let me know your input so i could make my purchase decision according.TIA
Well, if you have already purchased it, then why go for something else? In my opinion, using the CH720N in a gym is a personal preference. The problem is that your ears can get quite sweaty in noise-cancelling headphones. Add to it the gym, and your ears could get uncomfortable. But since you have purchased it, what has your experience been like?
You have a great knack for making these sort of videos if anyone hasn't told you already. By the way, can you help me pick between 720, XM4 & XM5 ? Do you think 720 is a XM4/5 lite ? If I go for XM4s, is paying 5-6k extra worth it for XM5s ? Thoughts?
Thank you! appreciate the feedback. Help spread the word about the channel. As for your question. I would highly recommend you visit an offline store and experience all three for yourself. The XM5s are uber premium and are worth the price. The 720N are for those who are on a budget and want great sound and don't mind compromising on the build a bit when compared to the XM5's. At the end of the day, value for money is different for different people. SO I highly recommend you go and experience the headphones before purchasing.
depends on your use case. However, keep these factors in mind. If you want 3.5mm connectivity and noise cancelling then go for the 720. If you don't want 3.5mm connectivity and want to wear headphones for a long time, then go for the 520.
Hi Sameer, hope you are doing good. Can you suggest between xb910n and 720n. XB910 comes with sony case. Did you ever use XB910n. I am confised between xb910 and 720n.
Hey, thanks for your comment. The main difference between the xb910n and 720n is that the xb190n have a more pronounced bass than the 720n. so if you like more bass, go for the 910n. If you like slightly more neutral sound, then go for the 720n.
@@GaganDua-t6r Depends on your use case, but I would recommend going to an offline store and checking them out for comfort, sound quality and other features before investing.
Which would be better during travel, like airports, metros/train, buses, footpaths, airplanes? I guess the 520 because its light or the 720 because of the ANC?
I think you have answered your question yourself. But let's break it down into 2 simple points. If ANC is important to you, then go for the 720N. I think they should work better than the 520, especially for airports. But I like to take long walks and be aware of my surroundings. Also, in the summer in north India, it gets quite hot. So for those reasons, the 520 are my choice.
@@IdiotBox86Thanks, You're right, I have almost shortlisted 520 because of the size and it could be more versatile, 720 has one disadvantage it gets hot quickly inside. I use the oppo m32, but the drivers are not enough for many sounds. I tried the Samsung buds fe, even though music was rich, again drivers are small, it wasn't practical for me and signal strength of the buds are poor over 7 feet. - Thanks
Thanks for the video it helped me a lot , i wanted your suggestion still my budget is 10k and i am looking for headphone which would have noise cancellation as i wanted it for taking online lectures because my students compliant sometimes about background noise also for my meetings.
Hi, I personally think the 520 is more comfortable for long durations of use. the call quality is very good too. I personally cannot wear noise canceling headphones for a long stretch of time and if that's the case with you, then I recommend the 520. However, if noise cancelling is a priority, then you should try the 720 if possible before investing.
Thanks for the review. While using the 720n wired to the pc does it have any latency or you can use it to play competitive games like fps/battle royales?
I used it wired with a PS5 and Xbox Series X for single player games and did not notice any lag. However if you are a pro player, I recommend dedicated gaming headphones.

Can u suggest a headphone for workout and gym ?
Budget? would you prefer headphones only or are TWS ok?
I am a girl who just uses headphone for listening to music on the way to work and during meetings. So, I chose 520 and I pretty much like it. It is very basic but very light weight and comfortable. I am now looking for a headphone for my boyfriend with big head. I wanted to buy him 520 again cuz he is not very picky about noise cancellation . However, because of the size, I might have to choose 720N. I wish they would release 520 in bigger size with over ears.
If you can extend your budget why not consider the Sennheiser Accentum plus or even the Sony ULT?
Nice video man real ur cooking it dude but i wanted to know is there better something comparable to the 520 and in the same budget of 4500 or 5000 coz look I'm a student i want good mic some good bass good vicals good app support(optional but i kinda want it too) good connectivity like if it has aux its cherry on the top my ears r small so it won't matter much with on ear(kaan k just above not fully covering) also 30+ hrs battery type c for sure.... so is there something u can recommend me plz I really need a good steal like in jbl or something or should i go with 520 i have offline stores i can check there but i want recommendations so i can make my buying choices acc to me not by the shopkeeper hope u reply fast ALSO PLEASE MENTION THE BT VERSION PLZZ
Thanks for your support. you can check out the JBL Tune 770NC amzn.to/4bLzeDh. These seem to offer almost everything you are looking for.
Jbl tune 720 BT or sony WH_CH520
please answer
While fit and comfort is a personal perference, I think you should listen to them offline to know which one you like better for sound quality. The JBL has 3.5mm but the Sony does not. This is one thing to consider.
Sony wh-ch520 and soundcore by anker Q20i which is better please tell me sir
I personally prefer the Sony, but I suggest you visit an offline store and experience both if possible.
How about working in teams? Which is good?
If you only want to use it for calls, and no other reason, then you should check out headphones designed for calls as they will have a better mic. else, between these 2, go for the 520. I found them better for long term use.
Xb910 ??
Good option. But why not consider the Sony ULT as well for just a few thousand more? I have reviewed it on this channel. you can check it out here: th-cam.com/video/E-XxsNkiHnY/w-d-xo.html
I have long/big/huge ears 👂😂 which one should I go for ? 520 or 720n ?
520 for prolonged use and if noise cancellation is not important to you. However, I recommend you go to a store and experience them before purchasing.
Which ones would be better for the gym?
Depends on your preference. If you want noise cancelation, then the 720. if you want to be able to hear your surrounding, then the 520.
The 520 is such a steal right now for around $38 its an inexpensive compact headphone that you can just have around. Sony did great with this
Subscribe you because you are on the point and not making a bit about a bush. Keep on bro good job

About sound quality, which one is better? I'm a music-lover 😁
Unfortunately no. To absolutely not listen to people in the same room, you will need to invest in ANC.
Thank you!!!
Which on is better Sony WH-C520 or Q20i ?
Depends on your use case. I haven't used the soundcore q20i but I have heard good things about them. Maybe worth a shot?
Are 520s good for metal rock music ?
In my experience, they get the job done quite well. But I recommend you visit a local offline store near you and experience them before making a purchase decision.
Great review!
Im looking forward the best spund quality between this 2, if where in higher quality sound, which one would you prefer?
The 720 as the ANC does help with better audio experience.
Good video

This video helped me so much! I just had a small query. Im looking for something i can keep longer on my ears. Is the 520 good for that?
Yes. I think the 520 can be used for a longer duration, especially if you are uncomfortable wearing noise cancelling headphones for long durations.

@@Minnie123010 Hope you enjoy them!
Great review. Thank you
I am very confused between the two options.
It does get very hot here in India and breathability is quite important for me.

great review bro.

Thumps up
I am looking for good Sound Quality for day to day usage , i am not an audioprofile. just want to clarify if i should extend my budget and get the XM4 at Around 18K or Opt for 720N, is there a major difference in sound quality apart from much stronger ANC and other features or are they similar/close enough in terms of sound. I would prefer a bit of bass. Please let me know your input so i could make my purchase decision according.TIA
if you are not an audiophile, then you can go for the 720N. they will not disappoint and will save you the money as well.

I just purchased CH720N as my budget is 10k. I'll majorly use it in the gym and listening to music while working. Should I opt for some other pair?
I’m using 520 Tq
How’s your experience with them?
I wana buy sony headphone please suggest 720 or 520 please suggest
depends on your use case.
I am getting 720n around 6000, 910 around 9000 and 1000mx4 at 16000. Which one will be good. Somewhere i read that 910 head controversial design.

How is the passive noise cancellation for ch520
Good for small noises. But if there is a TV on right next to you, you will definitely hear it.
- Thanks

Thanks for the review. While using the 720n wired to the pc does it have any latency or you can use it to play competitive games like fps/battle royales?
