Thanks again for all the help with the 'just in case' return policy! Without that, I don't think I'd have spent the money (considering the unknown fitment), but I'm so stoked it worked out! I just got back from the first ride & it's rock solid! Really nice setup! Love it!
😂 ear plugs and grommets seem to be the solution these days. I think it's partly due to the higher speeds we're riding at these days. I will say I had a Triumph T-Bird LT with the windshield that was solid up to 90, so it CAN be done.
Looks great! I might do this (bars AND fairing) on my '08 Fat Bob. Was considering the Reckless Batwing, but this thing is sexy, and I like that it mounts to the frame. How do you find the fairing works functionally? Im 6'4 and would like it if it blocks the wind a bit!
I really like it! I'm 5'10" & the wind hits the top of my helmet but not turbulently. I've never ridden a bike with a fairing of any kind before so I can't really say how it compares to something like a Road Glide (or even a Lowrider ST). There IS a noticeable difference in the wind fatigue with the fairing vs without the fairing, though. I did notice a bit of a rattle in the fairing when I rode without ear plugs the other day and I think it's the windshield. The rubber grommet system to mount it is pretty cheesy (not to mention a nightmare to install on the windshield) and I don't feel like I can solidly button it down. I'll be buying proper mounting buttons for it or CAD designing & 3D printing them to see if that takes care of the problem. Overall, I'm really happy with the fairing and I'm glad I took the leap!
Thanks! I bought the fairing directly from AdvanBlack www.advanblack.com/advanblack-color-matched-st-style-front-fairings-for-harley-low-rider-s-street-bob-fat-bob-dyna.html . There is a drop-down menu where you can choose your model Harley so you will get the correct bracket. Hope that helps!
Thank you! Here's the link to the fairing. You just need to choose which color and brackets are appropriate for your bike. www.advanblack.com/advanblack-color-matched-st-style-front-fairings-for-harley-low-rider-s-street-bob-fat-bob-dyna.html
Good morning! I am really considering this install! It looks amazing on your bike so I know it will on mine as well as we have the same bike You did an excellent job How has it been after 5 months?
I really like the fairing! The only thing is that I have a couple very small rub areas between the inner & outer fairing and I think that might be the source of a very very slight, occasional rattle. I'm going to take it apart a bit & sneak a tiny piece of black 'moleskin' in there, and that should do the trick.
Holy smokes. I thought we had big mosquitoes in Florida. Did you have any concern with the edge of the faring rubbing the tank when you turn all the way left or right, like when backing up or something? Or does it not even come close? Either way, it looks so sick. Nice job. I absolutely love a blacked out look on any vehicle but especially on a bike. I love all the black accents and lenses and stuff. That tank paint job is awesome. What a great bike. I'm so jealous.
Thanks so much! The fairing is stationary, so the forks turn within the fairing while it sits still. When I was trying to figure out if it'd work for my bike, that was one of my concerns; whether the big ol' front end would clear the inner fairing. No problem at all. The only thing that is somewhat close is the Screamin' Eagle air cleaner but I think that will be fine. If it vibrates enough to bump the fairing, I should be able to kind of snuggle it back on the elbow for a bit more clearance. And, yes, the skeeters are terrible here this time of year, especially with all the rain we've had lately! 🦟🦟🙈
Hey you did an amazing job getting that to fit and thank you for testing it out for us. really glad it worked out!

thank you for the tutorial. I have a 2024 Nightster and I am considering adding a Low Rider ST fairing if i can make it work.
So happy you did this i was so worried because my fatbob isnt on the list of brackets but dang im doing it 🤙🏻
It fits beautifully! Go for it! 👍
Great job! Thanks for the awesome video! This makes me want to try and fit one of those fairings to my 2010 Wide Glide
Thanks! It's a really nice setup, I have to say!

Thanks! It really adds some style points for sure!
Great job! Thanks! So it seems that I can also install it on my 2016 Street Bob Special... :)
Thanks!
Yep! It looks like they list the 2014-2017 Street Bob in their applications! 👍

@@ShellOnWheels Thank you! Ride Safe
Just went on the website they do have brackets for the fat bob year 07-13 for 299.99
Correct! I was the test fitter. When I confirmed the installation, they added the information to their website. 🙂
Merci beaucoup pour cette vidéo, Super

@@ShellOnWheels Oh, right! Duh. I watched the video. Of course it's stationary. Lol. Sorry, I'm a little dense sometimes. Lol.
@@xliquidflames Lol! Well, you know, it's late. ⏰😆
Wow 😍🫡
It's a sport bike, not a bagger.
I always thought 'baggers' had bags 🤷🏼♀, but either way, that's the beauty of having your own bike; you can do whatever you like with it. ✌
@@ShellOnWheels true, I rather look cool than uncool. But it's the new era where these young kids think they are black.
