Hi Steve.. Great Install, i have a Street Bob, and did not know this item was available.. i certaily cannot afford a Lowrider ST... so what a fantastic option... better start saving and dropping hints..! Take care buddy, and stay safe. Del.
Hey Bro! Good to see you! Im with you on that..the ST's are pricey..this bike was a friend of mine and really wanted to get a another video out on the same ST fairing but on a different bike...just to show how easy they are to do...its a bit time consuming but nothing really hard about it. De pinning being my favorite part about it ( heavy sarcasm ) lol Thanks for stopping in, my friend! Be safe!
Thank you so much for all you do! I watched this (seems like 100 times) and was able to install the Advanblack ST fairing on my wife's 2019 low rider. I could not have done it without this. Keep up the excellent work!!
Unfortunately no...there is too big of a space in there for one to overlap the other...they decided to get a different bar that mounts only to the bottom.
really good video Steve. just enough detail and no boredom watching you do the same thing to the other side. one wish though, was that you would have had a diagram for the second pin removal like you did for the first one. i have struggled quite a bit trying to get those things out.
Hey BT....its the same as the headlight...pin in at an angle, slight push upwards. Those connectors are different but the pins are the same...just a little smaller. Thank you for checking out the video! Ill see if I cant do a video on de pinning several of the connectors in the future.
Ugh I wanted to keep my bob fairing-less but this video is making me change my mind lol Great tutorial on this install and the step by step detail is top notch.
Love your vids, thanks for sharing, would love to one day get a complete colour change to vivid black on my road glide special, sadly it is way to pricey for me, appreciate your clean content, have an awesome day
thank you Phantom! For some reason it put this comment in my "held for review" which I never check because there anything in the there..so sorry for the late reply!
Awesome tutorial, you did a great job explaining and showing the install. Were the rubber tank isolators put back ? Fairing looks great but theres a lot of open space between the neck and inner fairing, any setup to fill it.
Thank you, Paul! Much appreciated sir. We have to provide that room, same as the actual Low Rider ST fairing from Harley, it's a fixed fairing and you need that room to turn the handlebars/forks...kind of the same thing with a road glide. The plastic pieces on top of the tank bolts are not re-installed. Those are only trim pieces...they do not isolate anything. Part Number 61400491 TRIM, BRACKET, FRONT (RIGHT) 61400492 TRIM, BRACKET, FRONT (LEFT) I hope this helps! Thanks again! Be safe!
Hey Steve, quick question on the headlight install. How did you go about calibrating the correct height of the headlight after you put the outer and inner fairing back together? I apologize in advance if you already answered this in the comments. Thanks!
No worries...I have found I can get the side screws tight enough that the wind wont move the headlight but yet I can use a little force to adjust it up or down...the only other way is to add the fairing..put in 2 screws, see where your at and then remove the 2 screws and adjust again...its a pain but you only have to do it one time
@@sikbaggers Thanks for the info, that'll definitely help when I complete the install. Also, do you recommend blue or red Loctite for all of the hardware? I was figuring red on all the bracket bolts and blue on everything else.
Just dropped about $500 on a burley brand fairing but man I like the look of that! Wonder if it would be a fit for my softail not so standard? Or maybe they have some that would fit, noticed on their site they have some with stereo options. Also they’re not far from me.
Hi, I have a sport glide with a standard 7” headlamp. Will it fit in the fairing? Does the chrome trim need removing from the original headlight and then it fits or is it a no go completely? Thanks
Yes, they can be installed on our fairing however the RF kit is designed for the low rider st, so thats what it will be wired for. If you are doing this on a street bob it will not have the same wiring as the low rider for plug and play ...that doesnt mean you cant hardwire it though. lots of people have done it.
What’s up brotha real quick question I actually replace the stock bars into 16 inch bars do I still need to relocated the turning signals still or I don’t need to move them at all
yes...when you go to the page to order you can scroll down and see "popular upgrades" and you'll see the " Add Wire Harness For Rockford Fosgate Audio" You will need that harness to make it work on anything other then the ST
So I’m guessing my Harley mustache guard won’t work either? I saw a picture of a street bob with the low rider st fairing and the Harley mustache guard on it.
Does anyone know if the Advanblack Clutch Saver work on Fatbob 114 2024 models? I've asked Advanblack direct but they have advised they haven't tested it...
the rockford speakers are designed specifically for the low rider st...plug and play....just because it will technically fit, it wont plug into your street bob
you have to choose the bracket for 14 to 17 dyna low rider ...go to the link and use the drop-down menu to select the right bracket and choose the same on the drop-down menu for Support Bracket For The Bike Without Crash Bar Optionswww.advanblack.com/advanblack-color-matched-st-style-front-fairings-for-harley-low-rider-s-street-bob-fat-bob-dyna.html
@@sikbaggers Thank you, is it possible to send the faring to Austria? I need it in Hard Candy Custom purple metal flake. It doesn't look like flakes in the picture. What other parts do I need? Is it possible to mount engine crash bars anyway? Do I get cables for the main light with it? Or is it plug and play?
I installed those this last spring and I uploaded the video on the Advanblack TH-cam channel...you can check it out here th-cam.com/video/mR_myJJFgdQ/w-d-xo.html
Very Kool...But i dont see how useful a Full Fairing is for a Bike with a 3.5 gal tank?...I think a Memphis Shade Road Warrior Fairing is more than enough for a StreetBob or Softail Standard....
Hey brad..thanks for checking it out man...im just not sure what tank size has to do with an st fairing outside of aesthetics maybe? It will certainly block more wind that that road warrior fairing will and that was the end goal for this customer. If you notice in the start of the video thats kinda what it had on it ..only the advanblack version.
@@sikbaggers With a 3.5 gal tank on the Interstate(Thats where you really need a frame mounted fairing)...At 80 to 90 mph your only gonna travel a 100miles on tank of gas (3.5)...A Road Warrior would do good enough if your a Hard Rider....But thats just me

what year is your softail? they have brackets in the drop down menu that tells you which ones fit what bike
Will the flat out bar fits together with the fairing or do we need to take it out completely?
it will not work witht he fairing..you will need to get one that mounts sticktly at the bottom
Bought the ST fairing and installed, what I’m curious about is the bags. Do you have a video or can tell me model they are? Thanks Man
Yes advanblack..here is my video on it th-cam.com/video/hO1AQqDxSO8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=LFdlfh5aQ0w3T00Q same as the street bob install
Hi nice video. Does that new headlight bracket would word directly on moosmc headlight ??
you can install the moons with some minor trimming...the baja kit fits right in though
Hi, I have a sport glide with a standard 7” headlamp. Will it fit in the fairing? Does the chrome trim need removing from the original headlight and then it fits or is it a no go completely?
Thanks
a 7" will not fit...It has to be a 5.75 headlight or something like the baja light that has its own bracket
Thank you
That looks great…
I thought it turned out pretty good for a smaller bike...definitely integrated into the bike better than I thought it would.
Hey Steve, do you plan to have an instal video for the Road King Special version ?
yes I do...still waiting for someone local to lend me their bike to do it on lol ....not sure when Ill have it out.

Hey, question. I’m getting a nasty rattle coming from the fairing at about 3k RPM. It comes and goes. Have you had any experience with this?

what grips r on the bike and where can i get a set for mine
Vans ODI grips from J&P Cycles j-and-p-cycles.pxf.io/Jz7rDv

yes...this video can used across the board for various models..its all pretty much the same install.

where you get the saddle bags ?
Those and the saddlebag brackets are from advanblack also
