From what I read Tom wants nothing to do with it. Can't blame him with all the hard work it took to make Magnum iconic who wants the same network it aired to try to replace it with a bootleg copy? You can't replace Tom Selleck, John Hillerman, Roger E. Mosley and Larry Manetti, there's just no way.
I didn't watch the new one, but if I were you Mr. Hernandez, and saw Mr. Tom Selleck around, I think I would run and run till the end of the world !
