They were talking about Gibbs and Jenny after she was just killed, but it was foreshadowing. Ziva and Tony didn't go to Paris till WAY later in the series.

Tony and Ziva were the best part of that show. Better than Gibbs. When they left I stopped watching the show. No point.
I continued on for a few months, but I really really hated Bishop. Such a bore. Really turned out when MW left. The cast is all second stringers, and they ARE second stringers for a reason. I am eagerly awaiting the new TIVA show!!

It’s from season 6. The episode is called “Agent Afloat”, I believe
After Jenny died, Vance became Director and split up the team temporarily. He sent Ziva back to Israel, Tony aboard a US carrier as an Agent Afloat and McGee to the basement to work on cyber crimes.
