Yala River Great Blue Turaco Singing - Beautiful African Bird

The Blue Turaco is a wonderful cartoon bird. Note its black crest and red and yellow beak. The Blue Turaco's tail pattern is distinctive in flight: note the black bar at the end of the tail and the pale green sides. The Blue Turaco can be found in rainforest, gallery forest and lush secondary habitat. The Blue Turaco or Great Blue Turaco makes two distinct calls, sometimes together: a deep “jeeeow” and a quick, cackling series of incredibly loud notes.
