I actually knew someone, who was a lot like Sam, but she wasn't married. This girl Sarah and I worked together, and every time one of the girls at work (mostly me) were interested in a guy, she'd be all over him. We tried to hook her up with this one guy, but she ignored him (she originally said she wanted to meet this guy), and was hitting on this guy that I liked. Another female co-worker showed up, and she and the guy were hitting it off, I mean even the I.S.S. could see it. Well Sarah finally saw, and she went over to where he was, and tried to be all over him, but he ignored her, which pissed her off. Another time, this co-worker that I had a crush on, went with me to go see the re-release of Alien, in the theater. Well Sarah invited herself along (he didn't know that she wasn't invited), and we decided we were going to mess with her. The scene where Dallas is in the air shaft, was when we were going to mess with her. As soon as the alien showed up to grab Dallas and the screen goes black, I nudged the male co-worker, and he grabbed her. She screamed, jumped up, then spun around and slapped him in the face, before screaming, "I fucking hate you guys." He and I were just sitting there laughing. She never invited herself along after that.
First story: there have been multiple other stories where bad managers have forced underage employees to stay late and work too many hours. ALL against US child labour laws. Each time they did this to one employee was a separate offence, each employee they did this to were separate offences. So if they screwed over 10 employees in one shift each that would be 100 offences. Each offence has up to $10,000 fine for each one (even on the low end it would still be a fine in the thousands). So if the Bad manager had been doing that for years.....oh Boy a fine in easily the MILLIONS or 10's of Millions.

And what??? $200 just to help her with her (never gonna happen) TH-cam “career”??? Classic excuses and “you’ll get it soon” after she used 2 people for their time. And her cheating on her ARMY HUSBAND?! The revenge is well deserved. Hope she had an equally lonely college life. In case anyone's wondering about the 'married straight out of high school' part in the second story; It's pretty common for that to happen with people who go straight into the military. One of the reasons people do this is becuase this way the spouse is on the insurance and can use military benefits they wouldn't be able to otherwise (commisary, pharmacy, and financial support while they attend college/work to build a nest egg). Needless to say this is a risky manuveur for both participents but especially the military member becuase, if they go away for training or get deployed, it's very easy for the spouse to cheat; so only really commited couples who've been together for often their entire highschool careers choose to do this.
Story 2: Sam reminds me of Mini Ladd in a way because she' all around a horrible person, gets called out on it, her awful behavior backfires, and at the end of day, she's still a garbage human being who pretends "everything is fine"

We had a secret shopper come up and she cut the line at my deli counter in front of a bunch of people. I didn't even know she was a secret shopper and it didn't matter to me. I immediately told her without any hesitation go to the back of the line right now or I will not serve you. end of discussion She tried arguing with me. I told her back of the line now that's your option
I got a job at a McDonalds as soon as I turned 16, parents were splitting up and both too broke to provide much for me (they did their best, not bitching about them) so I had to. I was only allowed to work 3 hour shifts during the week, typically 5-8, 6-9 and could only close (store closed at midnight) on Fridays and Saturdays. Every other Sunday I could work an 8 hour shift, usually 8-4 or something like that. They were very strict about following the labor laws regarding high school students. All in all, it was a great experience. I mean it was a sucky job for very little money but they were surprisingly accommodating and I grew up a LOT in the year and a half or so I worked there.

They had me for 3 hr shifts during the school days but the manager told me I would have to work every holiday so she wouldn't have too. I would think that this would take not too long after the first maybe 10 teenagers that were being withheld from their tests and overtime that their parents would have called the labor board in that state to complain about this store and have them do some kind of investigation. Especially the parents of college kids would be very angry and would make sure that manager and his father would have been under a lot of pressure.
The majority of high school kids working at a grocery store are doing so because their parents can't or won't provide for them. Obviously not all but most. Parents who can would see this crap and tell the kid to quit immediately and focus on school.

I just wish more kids knew their rights and who to report it to. I think I prefer your videos without the music. I get that it's a popular thing to do their narration over music, but I think yours were better for not having it.
The manager story sounds very similar to something that happened where I work, just with a department manager instead of a store one. I had a department head who pulled the "schedule teenagers during school hours" thing, he would pass his duties off on part-timers then just sit in his office and watch TH-cam videos all day. He once handed me a Telxon scanner and tried to tell me to do the hand order (basically go through each aisle and manually order any out of stock product) for him. I refused telling him that I didn't know how to do a hand-order and didn't trust him to not throw me under the bus if I screwed it up. He eventually had another part-timer do it, said part-timer inevitably screwed it up and the manager tried to throw him under the bus for it but it backfired and the manager got demoted.
I can just hear the exchange: DH: The part timer screwed up, not me. Boss: Why was the part timer doing YOUR job? Who trained them to do it? Who TOLD them to do it? How did they even get a hold of that scanner in the first place? DH: ... Boss: You're clearly unfit for your position.
I find it ironic how many people can’t tune out the music. I’m usually the one with that problem and I barely noticed it. Of course, I was doing the dishes, too, so maybe the combined noises just blended together for me. Anyway, that last girl is a type that always mystified me. The mean girl nonsense, playing others against each other, giving one friend a gift to make another feel bad. I was never really in with any girl groups at school so Inever understood the weird behavior. My Autistic self just didn’t work through subtle means.
My family would do that to me on Christmas or birthday. Sure I would get a few gifts but alot of it would be something they wanted for themselves. Especially that Swiss Collony treats. The military has a very high rate of cheating and divorce The cheating on both sides. It's rough on Navy families when he's on a six month deployment.

The manager story sounds very similar to something that happened where I work, just with a department manager instead of a store one. I had a department head who pulled the "schedule teenagers during school hours" thing, he would pass his duties off on part-timers then just sit in his office and watch TH-cam videos all day. He once handed me a Telxon scanner and tried to tell me to do the hand order (basically go through each aisle and manually order any out of stock product) for him. I refused telling him that I didn't know how to do a hand-order and didn't trust him to not throw me under the bus if I screwed it up. He eventually had another part-timer do it, said part-timer inevitably screwed it up and the manager tried to throw him under the bus for it but it backfired and the manager got demoted.
I can just hear the exchange:
DH: The part timer screwed up, not me.
Boss: Why was the part timer doing YOUR job? Who trained them to do it? Who TOLD them to do it? How did they even get a hold of that scanner in the first place?
DH: ...
Boss: You're clearly unfit for your position.

I find it ironic how many people can’t tune out the music. I’m usually the one with that problem and I barely noticed it. Of course, I was doing the dishes, too, so maybe the combined noises just blended together for me.
Anyway, that last girl is a type that always mystified me. The mean girl nonsense, playing others against each other, giving one friend a gift to make another feel bad. I was never really in with any girl groups at school so Inever understood the weird behavior. My Autistic self just didn’t work through subtle means.
The bad manager story...the term "no joy" was used. It's a military target tracking term. It just surprised me hearing it again.
I can't even concentrate on the story. All I hear is whimsical music.
My family would do that to me on Christmas or birthday. Sure I would get a few gifts but alot of it would be something they wanted for themselves. Especially that Swiss Collony treats. They buy it, put my name on it, and then take it away once everyone was gone. I guess it was to make themselves look good or something.
