For those starting out-can you explain why your putting things where you are putting them-and you never mention power.
can you get spdt dip switches?...like a spdt toggle?...
Short and to the point...very respected.
Can u tell that if the switch is off will it give ground bcuz my dip switch does not give ground
Thanks, was helpfull
Do you know if you can get an 'on-off-on' dip switch or does that not exist because it would be to small to make?
Cozmictracks Thie switch you are talking about will no longer be a dual inline package but a triple one. And yes, they exist as DPDT (Double Pole Double Throw) or triple inline switches.
Thank You!
Nice video
"Thank You", thank you very much. That was cool. Have you tried this with ANY ICs??? Let me know... 😌
+Inquire98 yes many- flip flops, binary to decimal converter, microcontrollers etc. Check out my video on the flip flop circuit
@@MostElectronics do you have one on microcontroller?
Informative, Thank You.
yep
Thanks ❤️
so you moved your resistor on the far right from the positive to the negative rail and never explained why?
Because otherwise the circuit would'nt have been closed and thus no current flowing.
@@d3lt4X thank you! I’ve been haunted by this over the years. Closure at last!
can switch give us ground value or only VCC value???
so a dip switch is basically 7 switches in a row all in one?
I Decatur X it can be two or more
I have a gaming system and on the screen it ask me to to reset dip 1 . I'm not to sure on how to do this, never had to!
+Jeff R must be something wrong. what kind of gaming system is it?
MostElectronics Just in case your still waiting for a reply, I doubt you’ll get one at this point. I’m fairly certain even.
Thank you for your attempt, but the angle you shot this video at was bad.
how many bits can you control with the dip switch you are using here?
Assuming your application is 1 bit per switch, then 7 bits. I have other bit switches that do 8 bits. I don't know why I had a 7 switcher here.
My uncle called me "dip switch" Oh no wait, it was "dip shit"
the reason i use this is only because i want pacman to do the levels for me with the Rack Test dip switch
fantasting
Not aligning the switch numbers with the breadboard numbers. TRIGGERED
im sorry my demons took over
Dual inline packaging
Thanks for the effort, but the presentation is very messy and you're too closely zoomed in.
Thanks for the feedback, I was just making sure to have a good zoom so viewers could see easily.
@@hulkhoganspssy lol hope its a joke, what youre asking actually is how the breadboard works. look it up
doesnt explain shit... wtf
this is possibly the worst camerawork i have ever seen
