how do you manage the instability that comes from having a social media career, especially in light of TH-cam's plans to reduce ad revenue given to creators?
I did not understand why you didnt take the same flight as Angelo. Also if you were staying in london but you dont leave so far, why not go back home for two days... sorry im confused 😅
I may have missed it, but why did you and Angelo not book the same flight? And why did you not just go back home living so close to London? Just trying to understand the situation as I would have booked the same flight as my spouse and just go back home instead of a hotel if I lived that close 😮
I had a flight canceled on me last summer in Montreal at 2:30 am. We had already boarded the plane and waited. We were stuck in the airport overnight, in a 10 hour line and awake for almost 48 hours. Absolute insanity!
had the same awful experience .. stuck in LA airport during the night .. impossible to reach out to Air Canada.. miracle that I was able to fly to Montreal x)
I always have back-up plans, like anyone should, in a traditional job or not. a lot of stuff goes on behind the scenes that people don’t see, and I also don’t need to share everything online 🤷🏻♀️😅
I also take life as it comes. so of course, because I love my job(s) I could definitely do it forever even . . . but as I said, I take things as they come and adapt when I need. the cogs always turn in the background. 🤓

In my country there's this pressure to get conventional jobs immediately after graduation due to rising costs of living (having a long career break before starting your first job is highly disadvantageous). I think holly is pretty lucky to be able to have such flexible working arrangements and the occasional overseas travel trips

They see you having the privilege to have a very flexible and fun job that let's you enjoy life while they are forced to do a 9-5 they hate. Hope you get the money back! I had two cancelled flights last summer and didn't get any expenses reimbursed by the airline because they were able to claim that weather conditions and subsequent flight control decisions were extraordinary circumstances outside their control!

I got my 2nd leg flight cancelled when I was moving home to the UK from Austria 😂 had to spend the night in Frankfurt

I'd recommend a flix bus in future so cheap and direct to city centres. Plus better for environment!
