Hey guys!! I'm super sorry if I seem quite distant at the moment, but I will be uploading once a week (I think I may even settle with Monday as a new upload day if that sounds good?) and sharing more personal things in due time, when it feels right, or only if it feels right. I won't also be replying as much as I used to in the comments for a bit of time, just because it brought me a lot of stress and sadness towards the end of last year. So as I said in the video, I'm putting myself and my mental health first right now so I can work on 'me' and find what I know is going to make me happiest long term. Thank you, as always, for supporting me and being here for me - it never goes unnoticed 💚
The comments are the best and worst thing for creators. I have a fantasy outsourcing list as a creator. Can't possibly afford to pay anyone to help me yet, but on my list is someone to moderate my comments for me so I don't have to see the evil ones!!!
Oh and a channel I watch called Eight Miles from Home, literally years ago, made a video explaining why they don't ever, ever answer their comments. Mental health and time, basically - although their answer was lot more detailed, obviously.
Your mental health is the most important! Even though you feel a bit lost, I know that you sharing your struggles during the chaos that is post uni life with resonate with a lot of people and help them feel less alone. Let me just tell you, even though it seems like everyone has it all figured out, we are all just faking it till we make it! None of us really know what we’re doing!
Great to see you are being proactive about it! People of a wide age range and types of circumstances are experiencing identity crises in their own ways, striving to sort out who they’d like to become, what to do next, how to start over, how to manage day-to-day uncertainties, and so on. Some confront more than once in life. It can feel very tricky while being in the thick of it. Best of luck with it! 🍀 Nice New Balance jacket, btw!
Hi Holly 🤍 Just here to say I’m here to support you (and your content) through all of your phases/ups/downs. I’ve also been feeling very lost but your videos have helped keep me company and realize I’m not alone. Take good care of yourself!
People with professional designations such as engineering (only certain engineering fields), medicine, dentistry, chartered accountancy, actuary etc. feel very secure in their jobs and such people usually do not have an identity crisis. I studied computer science and I am always stressed because technology changes fast and even if I keep up with the technology, it is hard to find an opportunity in the new technical area. It is always better to earn a professional designation that offers a variety of opportunities in different industries because it provides financial stability and financial freedom. As you get older (past 35), feeling secure in your job is very important and professional designations offer that security.
Well done for working through this holly. It’s always good to share with those you love and trust. Your mom and dad can give good advice im sure. It’s definitely important to have a good balance in life your work will benefit from your rest time zz
Loved this vlog holly! Hope you’re doing ok x I think more people go through times like this, I know i definitely did at the same age, just know you’re not alone. What a lovely supportive family you have around you x
Hiii so glad you‘re back, seeing you posted just made my evening ☀ I‘m also continuously learning the importance of time off, and just decided to prioritise rest by stopping to work and watch ur video instead 🤭 so thanks for that! I‘m sure youre giving comfort and reassurance to many people atm going through uncertainty and stuff like that, sure are doing it for me, so thanks 😊
hi Holly! My new year has started with a huge possibility of growth! I'm a pharmacist, but I also write basic articles about general medicine. Next week a have a last meeting with a huge pharmacy marketing company to work with them on content creation. 2024 starts very strong 🤩🤩
I don't usually comment on youtube videos, but I just wanted to say I'm happy for you! You will never be able to make everyone happy, the best you can do is be true to yourself. If you want to keep vloging and sharing your life that's okay if that's what resonates with you! Whoever you lose along the way doesn't really matter because you are coming closer to yourself :) Hope this year brings you some clarity ❤
Really liked the format and editing style of this video, felt like aaah Holly is back again!😊 Honestly though, the things you're describing Holly, to me sound totally like a classic quarter life crisis😅😂 Like.. all the questions about what direction to go in, what's important in your life, what you value most, what to do in terms of career, feeling lost etc etc all very typical questions to ask yourself in your late 20's. So I think it's really good not to be too hard on yourself, realise you're not alone in this (very relatable actually) and like you said, to try and stay positive about things. At the same time, its totally fine to be unsure for a while, you don't need to have it all together and figured out all of the time🤍 Just like with the previous couple videos (and digital nomad Thailand), you try some new stuff - some work, some don't work - its the same for everything in this phase of life I guess.. Just keep doing what you enjoy and like best, it's your life, you decide and don't need our approval🙈✨️ Have been watching you since you started Cambridge, so we'll stick around hahaha it's your personality, not the things you do or don't do, we want to see you happy too, just like watching an old friend😊🍀
Hai...I just want to say... we love u. U make your life seems real cuz for some people ur life is what they want. No one is perfect they just seems so...stay real. Love
I'm so happy for you coming to terms with all that's been going on for you. I hope you find solutions that feel good and sustainable for you and ONLY for you! Your mental health is more important than anything else. And btw, please share if you try the juicy marbles stuff, because I have seen it online and I'm sooo curious about it! Haven't finished watching as I'm writing this comment, so if you have tried in the video, I'm sorry 😅
Holly, take your time about when you want to upload videos and want to decide to do this year and the next few years. Some years can be good; other years can go bad. It is a fact of life.
not everyone has to be a sheep and live their life exactly like everyone else. People just can't cope seeing someone do differently than the ''norm'' that they keep pressurising people to conform until they finally give in. Maybe holly wants to live at home? thats how she feels happier? why should she live her life just to conform? people these days are such small minded judgemental sheep they can't deal with seeing someone living life their own way
This doesn’t necessarily apply to Holly but in recent years many people in their 20s & 30s in the UK can’t afford to move out due to the skyrocketing cost of housing/rent compared to wages (especially in expensive parts of the country such as London & surrounding areas, Edinburgh, Oxford/Cambridge & many rural areas)
Just my humble opinion but you may feel better about yourself if you move out of your parents house and support yourself and stop relying on them mid/late twenties is too old to be dependent on mamma & pappa
@sunqueen4080 everyone is on different paths in this life and you don’t know what people are going through by just watching a TH-cam video. Next time please pause and think before writing such a judgemental comment.
Lol this is a very western idea. You do realise in other parts of the world people live with their parents for their whole lives. When they get married their parents move in with them. Separating is a very western notion.
Honestly, and this might get a lot of hate, but you need to have a relationship with God. Thats whats missing and nothing and no one else can fill that Jesus sized hole in everyones heart.
I agree that Jesus is the answer to all of her questions. However, I also understand that she will never come to that understanding until it is too late. 99% of people today think you and I are ignorant and superstitious. They are wrong there as well. Thank you for giving a honest comment, in spite of the wrath you will receive in response to it!

Holly!! This is such a great video!!! I feel so happy amd inspired watching this. Keep going, we all love you ❤
can you talk about your career/professional goals for this year?/in general? :)
she has none, she went to uni just to make TH-cam videos while living with her parents😆

Any plans of moving out of your childhood home?
Here in the USA young adults usually "leave the nest" right after college......

I would like to see you investigate the church

Should have kept this opinion to yourself
how is she depending on them?
