Tied this up on Monday and went fishing with it Thursday. Just caught a 6.5lb brownie with it about an hour before dark. It's the biggest brownie I have ever caught. Thank you so much for sharing you have made an old man very happy. 😀💯💪😀
Tied your fly up with olive rabbit and gold straggle Fritz. I fished it at Woodburn Reservoir near Glasgow and the fish went mad for it slashing wildly especially the first few pulls.l managed 2 but great fun👍👍👍. Cheers mate.
lol Excellent !! Yep they certainly get turned by it ! ... Its just as much fun watching them trying to eat it as it is hooking them ... when they are in that kind of mood presenting the fly static can turn those splashes into proper takes ! .. Thanks for watching ..
Absolutely . No reason you cant fish this as a sinking pattern. If you had that in mind I would tie it with booby eyes instead of the post , it will give it better stability when retrieved . The post will cause the fly to spin under water as its designed as a surface disturbance lure ..

Getting nearly impossible to source these . I suggest going to your local tackle shop and looking for heavy gauge specimen hooks for carp or barbel

What size are the red eyes and where do you get them.
They are 3.5mm eyes . I cant get hose kind any more they came from the states . I have found similar adhesive eyes from Lathekill
