ಚಿತ್ರದುರ್ಗ, ಹೊಳಲ್ಕೆರೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಿರಿಯೂರು ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ೧೦,೦೪೯ ಹೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಜೋಗಿಮಟ್ಟಿಯು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಅತಿ ಎತ್ತರದ ಸ್ಥಳ. ಭೌಗೋಳಿಕವಾಗಿ ಈ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಏಷ್ಯಾ ಖಂಡದಲ್ಲೇ ಅತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಗಾಳಿ ಬೀಸುವ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಚಿತ್ರದುರ್ಗದಿಂದ ೧೦ ಕಿ.ಮೀ. ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ನಗರದಿಂದ ಜೋಗಿಮಟ್ಟಿ ರಸ್ತೆ ಮೂಲಕ ತಲುಪಬಹುದು.Jogimatti is a hill station and forest reserve in
Chitradurga district, Karnataka, India. The reserve covers 10,048.97 hectares (38.7993 sq mi) in Chitradurga, Holalkere and Hiriyur taluks, 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) south of the city of Chitradurga. There is a century-old hilltop bungalow built by the British to house travellers, and a nearby temple dedicated to the local saint for whom the hill station was named, with 155 steps.
