Donnie Yen in a John Wick film is a Yes! from me. I know I'm going to love it.

Fun fact that I somehow just learned: these movies are based on a 911 call (you can find on TH-cam) that former Navy SEAL Marcus Lutrell (the real dude that Lone Survivor is about) made a few years ago. He was in his truck going 100+ miles an hour chasing after some scumbags who had shot and killed his service dog, incidentally named after the 4 brothers he lost in the events that transpired in Afghanistan. He called the police for the sake of the people that he was chasing. It’s kinda scary to listen to the call, because he’s fed up and he knows that if he beats the cops to those guys, they’re all very dead men.

Idk why people think Chapter 4 is the last? They said they are making a 5th and more beyond that if it makes money.
Going out on a limb, but I predict this WILL make money. Very bold, I know, but go with me on this.
5 will be keanu last apperance in john wick, after that his story will end. the movie after that wont be named john wick, some said it will be called continental but its not yet official.

I think they will end it in 5 but keep expanding the world with spin-off movies and/or series.
Before the pandemic we thought they were filming 4 & 5 back to back. Since the pandemic pushed everything so far into the future, I personally don't think 5 is guaranteed and I'm betting JW dies in this one.

I feel like this series morphed into the urban legend that resulted from the first movie.
The cinematography on this is insanely good. Some of those images are works of art.
But in a movie like this it's not a plus, this needs more grit to it, it's looking ever shinier, to perfect, shit's to convenient.
Clancy Brown putting his own spin on the old Highlander nugget "There can be only one" made this trailer for me!!!
This franchise keeps upping the ante and i am so excited to see Keanu fight Donnie Yen
In the last movie John visited and was helped by the Russian Woman that ran the Ballet company. She was also punished by the high table for that by having some of her people killed and having her hands run through by a sword.
Theres also a prequel tv series of John wick coming on peacock called the continental coming next year
I'll admit I have an odd sense of humor, but that wicker joke had me actually laugh out loud.

They can go forever. Even when king Keanu is older he can just replace Ian McShane as the manager of the Continental as he passes the torch to whomever is the next protagonist.

Would be really dope, but I also still hope they continued with the tradition of the last 3 and got some 90s alt-rock artist for the main song. Marilyn Manson's "Killing Strangers" in 1, "A Job to Do" by Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains for Chapter 2, and "Bullet Holes" by Bush in Chapter 3...

Saw this in the theater when I saw Black Panther (absolutely fantastic BTW, best of Phase 4) and it looks so good.

@@cambion_entertainment I don't do IMAX anymore because it's the farther theater and higher price and the theater I go to has a massive screen too. Avatar is day 1 in IMAX.
Part of me wishes they would pull a marvel thing like a multiverse make a movie with characters John wick, Bryan Mills, Xander Cage, Robert McCall and Frank Martin or fast and furious franchise, Jack Reacher, Walter White, and Jesse Pinkman. That would be so Epic.

I'm gonna go out on a limb since everyone is saying there's a 5th coming and a lot of ppl saying it's not. Keanu said himself he will play continue to play John Wick for as long as he can if fans still love it. I think they're going to pump out more than jus 5 w Keanu, while expanding the Wickverse. Just my opinion
