It's amazing that Keanu Reeves and Donnie Yen are almost 60 and Hiroyuki Sanada is in his 60's and they still can do all the choreographed fight scenes.
One of the continuity details that they kept in the trailer, is when John was driving his car and shooting a pistol with his left hand. You can tell it was difficult for him to hold the gun because his ring finger on his left hand was cut off in the previous movie. So his accuracy with his left hand isn't as good as it was. I really liked that they're keeping details like that in this movie. It'll be interesting to see how John will try to compensate since his finger is gone.
I’m seriously looking forward to this; my favorite reveal was Winston telling John that John’s family has a seat at the High Table which I hope means we get more back story similar to seeing his Russian training roots.
The 2nd and 3rd movie also showed that he was still grieving his wife. In Ch 2 he only got his car back to get the card and picture his wife had given him, plus he was still looking and holding on to her photos, bracelet etc and even came back to his house after the explosion and found his wife's bracelet in the rubble. In Ch 3 he has a photo of his wife hidden away in a book in the library which he kisses when he finds it and when the elder asks him why does he want to live he says to remember her and he gave up his ring finger with his wedding band so he could live. So far all 4 movies have always made sure to mention his love for his wife.
I still maintain that the John Wick series has some of the deepest and most subtle worldbuilding I've ever seen in a movie. Even in the first one, they instantly set up "Oh, John is known to a major bad guy" and then with the Continental, "Okay, this is a Whole Thing." and from there they just continue that. And it's never stuff that is super relevant to the plot, just stuff that the movie just kind of states as fact and that helps the viewer go "Yeah, okay, the High Table is a thing, Families are thing...gotcha" until you look back and suddenly you have an entire setting built.
One pretty fun animated series "Battlefield Friends" might be a fun watch. They're short 2 to 3 minute animated videos about 4 friends and their shenanigans on the Battlefield games.
There's a possibility that this might lead into a 5th movie. I feel that if this was John Wick's final adventure, they would have had it be part of the advertisement to get more people to go see it.
This isn't the end of the John Wick series. I believe there is still gonna be more sequels plus they r gonna do 2 spin offs: Ballerina and The Continental.

This might be the last John Wick movie, but there is a spin off movie planned called Ballerina staring Ana de Armas in the title role. The movie will focus on a young female assassin who seeks revenge against the people who killed her family. Keanu Reeves is supposed to at least do a John Wick cameo in the film
I thought the wife is interesting, but I wondered if it’s more obvious, like the family Winston is talking about is Angelica Huston’s ballerina family, because if I remember right it’s said Huston’s character has a seat at the table!! Don’t know it’s a interesting idea, I do like the idea of it being his wife’s family!
Verisimilitude. This the essence of hero's journey. As long as it feels real to the audience and the participants there are many places you can go and many characters you can meet. This is why pieces that lecture their audience fail.
There's talks of doing John wick 5 they were supposed too going right into shooting #5 but the pandemic happened it was stop production then they held off #4 because of the pandemic n matrix n Tom cruise movie top gun Maverick Soo they put it off till next yr Soo I'm keeping up with John wick franchise of what's going on
