    I would definitely change the oil on that after a few uses because those Chinese engines can leave a lot of metal particles in the oil after being broke in, I’m guessing it takes 5w-30, I would suggest synthetic, after that I would change it every year or at the specified intervals. The best way to make something last is to do maintenance. You could also use something like pump saver to keep the pump lubricated and protected when you store it. Just my 2 cents 👍

      Not really. Honda builds these blackmax engines. They built generators and pressure washers for Walmart till 2019 I think

      @@jorgealvarado7933 haha, Honda is definitely not building these engines. these are Honda clones, mass produced in China.

    Thank you for the video man. Got this has my first power washer and was super confused with how to put on the bin cause that was my first time seeing that type of pin (yes I'm a younger fellow) and you showed how to put it on which helped me a ton so thank you man! Those little details you leave in the video help a ton

      It's not just solely the pressure washer, you need to make sure you're soft washing with the right chemical mixes before using a surface cleaner on driveways. Surface cleaners can connect to your wand range from 80+

    • @ganjapreneurzvlogsgaminget8338
      @ganjapreneurzvlogsgaminget8338 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      As long as you get the right equipment to go with it and use the right mixes 3100 psi and 2.5 gallons is a good starter from all the successful business videos I've watched.

    I just bought the black max 2500 pressure washer, it was smoking at first? Figured that’s because im just using it for the first time. 20 minutes in it suddenly just stopped and wont start back up i have no clue what to do now.

    • @elitesportsmedia
      @elitesportsmedia  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mine smelled like it was burning first tube I used it but no smoke, I would start with the oil make sure you have the right amount, too much is bad and so is too little. Check the fuel hose possibly clogged. These little engines get hot fast, make sure it’s not clogged any hoses. Move you choke around as well make sure the oil is correct

    • @elitesportsmedia

      I think it has lot to do with the nozzle, but 200 more psi will definitely be better for tougher jobs.

      Just wondering because I’m starting up a business and I’m looking for a good washer

    • @elitesportsmedia
      @elitesportsmedia  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It’s a great pressure washer, it gets pretty hot after a little while. A lot of the reviews on it I read say it gets so hot that it cracks the block? So honestly I think if you gonna use it for like 30 min at a time I think it’s great, if your gonna be using it hours a day I think it run into some problems with the engine getting to hot. Other than the engine getting hot I think it would be fine but that’s just a major concern I would have if I was using it for a business. So I guess just depends on how long your going to use it daily, for multiple hours constantly I would say get a different one, but if your just going like 30 min car washes or using it to clean sidewalks I think it would work fine . Only thing concerns me is the heat and constant use. I hope that helps

    Came here because Walmart is selling this right now for $229.00 and another site for $96.79. The latter seems really fishy though.
    If it's alright to ask a question, whats the diameter for the hose? I'll sub, like, and hit the bell notification.
    Edit: I subbed

I assembled and used it this weekend July seventh to be exact for 30 minutes and one of the 5 bolts holding the pressure to the water pump and the motor broke completely leaving the machine bursting with water. Called CS and they want me to email pictures model # S#, so we will see what happens.
