Just found out about this app and its very exiting as it ticks off all the things we need in our church with a small worship team. My question is, will you be able to loop a part of a song maybe on tag or an outro or instrumental part where sometimes the pastor comes up to do a quick prayer before you continue and finish the song? Thanks
Hi John! Thank you for the awesome tutorial on the Multitracks. I wish to record some Indian and multinational music using the multitrack method as I play multiple instruments but cannot play all of them at the same time. Please suggest if I could use Multitracks for not church (Maybe for other religion music).
Technically you could use this tutorial for any kind of music, not just worship. But just remember this is just for playing the tracks, not for recording them.
I’m thinking about going this route have plenty vocals and one keyboard player that would be me my only concern would the freedom to flow freely during praise and worship can the song tracks be setup anyway where it’s not to noticeable during transition and what exactly do I need to get setup for recently purchased Sunday keys for piano and setup took a bit how difficult to hook up to sound system without discovering you need all kinds of additional equipment to get desired affect thanks this video helpful
Glad it’s helpful. Got a few questions in there, some punctuation would help next time haha. In my experience most worship don’t “freely flow” to different choruses or bridges unless it’s an accident. Be intentional about leaving some space at the end of a song if you want to do something again. The songs can be arranged however you want and they blend well between them so it’s actually a much better way to handle transitions. The most basic way to wire this up is to go from an iPad or computers headphone Jack into a stereo splitter like a PCDI, then run to XLR cables to 2 separate channels on your mixer. This allows you to have the click and cues in your in ears and the rest of the music going to the house and your ears. I hope that helps!
Thank you for this video I have been using tracks (Prime) at my church for the past 4 or 5months, been a very helpful tool, just recently I began to notice that click and cues are now bleeding to the right and I am really not sure what could be the issue, this is happening on both my laptop and my iPad (tried to troubleshoot if the issue was my iPad but turns out it’s across all my devices😢) Hope you are able to assist
Within the app there is an option in settings to make the click stereo (come through both sides). Other than that I find it’s pretty common for one of the singers to take one ear out and then it bleeds into the microphone. Without actually seeing it happen it’s tough to troubleshoot
The Prime App is purely for multitrack playback. Making a track is not a simple one video tutorial but I did record me making “Rattle” last year live on stream which shows how I do everything th-cam.com/video/_MC_aGq2co8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=xG7Nl1fGF9ntXd09
I sell Multitracks on my website for $15 each, Loop Community has them for rent a little cheaper, or to buy for a bit more. It just depends how you wanna do it
Do you want more of these tutorial type videos? Let me know what you want and I’ll film it if I can! Thanks for supporting the channel!❤
I would like to see a video with a setlist that includes prime pads for worship flow
