Also, when I first started my raw journey with you, Markus, I did SO well and looked amazing.. then I went back to what I was addicted to (cooked junk, sugar etc) and that really threw me off. But coming back and re-learning what you teach, I am feeling and looking amazing! Thank you for everything you teach! x

    This is a very interesting video. However i want to say that your mood and your level of consciousness is even more important than the food you eat. I tried to go 100% raw. But i was very depressed and everytime i would cheat i would feel so bad and i would be angry, depressed for weeks. This is a message for people who are healthy despite not eating a 100% raw vegan diet. Take care of your internal world first. I have let go of my old beliefs,griefs and past trauma and despite my diet(far from perfect) i am not depressed animore and i have a lot more energy than when i was forcing myself to eat raw. Take care of your inner game first!

      Hans So true. I'm doing that atm. I've ditched the guilt and taking the best care that I can while I heal my inner world. I know that when I feel better inside, a lot of my cravings for sweets will probably dissipate until then I eat healthy 90% of the time but don't berate myself for giving in 😊 Since healing many emotional blocks my skin has healed that did not heal on my 'perfect' diet. My digestion is also so much better. The emotional world is so important.

      Hans I totally agree. I tried to go raw and I felt so miserable. I did vegan for months and it just never felt right but I hated the thought of hurting an animal. In the end, I wasn’t honoring my needs and was ultimately hurting myself. So thanks for the comment

      That’s because self idolizing and worshiping is depressing!!! Sure it’s ok to take care of your self and be healthy, but to be 100% raw and constantly working and loving your self is self love narcissism. And a trap!
      Jesus tells us to love our neighbor...
      Not love your self..we already do love our selves..we think of ourselves everyday!!
      It worked out for Marcus and he’s helping other people..but that doesn’t mean his path is our path ya know. God calls us for many things.

    Interesting, I always think about how hard it is to live life carelessly, going after food with little forethought as to the effect it will have, it's much harder living like that. Eat simply, eat uncooked foods. Be happy, be free. It can be as easy or as hard as we want to make it. Unburden ourselves and let go of all the foods that are killing us. You have so much enlighting information, I really appreciate you Markus. I remember you from very early videos, we are the same age, I'm a June baby. I simply gave fyi...the times ahead are really going to require sound doctrine words. As I agree, followers of Jesus should draw close to God and stay repentant and everyone that can work, do so in order that they can eat and help those unable to work to eat.

    When I decided to turn vegan, my body started to get rid of wastes and bacteria and I started to have serious diarrhea and acne on my face which I never had even in my teen age. I knew that my body started to gradually react and my health started to feel better. I had before insulin problems, cholesterol, fast heart beats, high-low blood pressure, bad mood, depression, T3, Vitamin D deficiency, irregular menstruation, hard breathing, and other undesired symptoms. I honestly felt much better, lost weight, and became another person when I decided to go vegan although I`ve tried different life styles and diets. But I also totally avoided sugar and carbohydrates which I quit gradually. I am glad to know this channel and especially the inspirational and motivational personality of Markus!

    Well really everyone ages no matter what you eat, even raw vegans actually die, shocking, but true... I don't think any vegan has claimed that the diet will give them mortality. My great grandfather told my Mom when we were kids that we don't eat right (this was in the 70's & I don't think he was rude about it, but he was trying to tell her how important your diet is)... anyways, he was practically a raw vegan... I don't know if he was raw, but he was vegan and ate a lot of seaweed products available during the 60's to the 80's... at any rate, he lived independently until he was about 98... then lived til about 103 with assisted living. He eventually died... but, all of his descendents all died in their late 70's to mid 80's (some earlier than their 70's)... His life span and the quality of it was greater by a solid 2 decades or more than his descendents who ALL ate a SAD... When you hit 75, do you think you will want to die and deal with all the health problems most people in their 70's deal with? They always said, "I want to live!"... well, they are actually dying earlier than necessary. I've seen it, and it's SAD. You are what you eat, just like they say.

    Oh yeah, I fully agree to some points you made..HOWEVER pushing myself bit too hard for me caused injury and now I have to take it slower than before because it really hurts and I don´t want to damage my body. I mean about the HIIT and workouts and stuff. Though the whole healthy eating you are right about. I looked into this a lot. Though I noticed that being super dooper strict with myself attempting to eat the healthiest I possibly can all the time was making me feel pretty bad. I actually felt better when I had some not so healthy and not so optimal foods. Now I don´t want to tip the scale toward the other end and like go too sweet instead of too bitter.. buuuuuuut yeah. I really just feel like letting go and eating whatever I might feel like and not thinking about it and then not snaking. I find that being too "mindful" and feeling guilt for wanting to eat something unhealthy is kind of just as bad as doing it. It´s crazy man. You have a good point when you say it takes strength.

      what about those mono fruit cleanses they talk about in chinese medicine where you just eat grapes or just watermelon for 7 to 10 days not all the time but maybe a couple times a year to heal certain things if you can't handle or want to to do a water fast? i know lou corona did that for 21 days in his early days he told me when i got coaching with him so i'm wondering if doing that is okay because it's short term for a cleanse but just not good for regular eating since like you said it's to much sugar to have more than just some fruit? also what about things like the liver gall bladder flush that's very popular and many vegans said they healed by doing that? you probably just mean don't regularly eat lots of sugar so the rules doesn't apply if your cleansing very briefly here and thier. I'm sure many others have thought about this too.

    • @deepakguttal
      @deepakguttal 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@rickabbott3772 exactly my question too !!! Robert Morse recommends fruit juice fasts for a period to heal as high water content fruits like melons, citrus fruits, grapes are astringent and can help clean the GI tract and move stagnant lymph. But I do kinda agree with Markus, greens are balancing and a must on a long term raw vegan lifestyle, during a detox or a cleansing period they however will slow things down, saying this from a personal experience as they do not have astringency to have that push -pull effect on lymphatic system, keeping the lymph moving during a fast is absolute key and fruit juices will do just that , so while the fruit sugar in juice form may have damaging effects if used on an ongoing basis long term, it certainly isn't the case if used for a period during a fast

    Somehow stumbled on your video just now. I admit at first you seemed kind of goofy (?) for lack of a better word - but that was just the hair and humor (and probably some stereotypes on my part - still got work to do, sorry). After a few seconds I was definitely listening. At the end of the video I wanted to applaud. This was absolutely amazing!!!
    I started learning about Naturology (the science of nature and inner hygiene) and everything you say is 100% what I have learned (though I still haven't heard about the part about insulin vs. HGH - although fasting is very important in Naturology). My Naturology teacher was a wreck at age 35 - he suffered from many different illness and maladies - including cancer. After 2 months of Naturology and fasting for long periods - he was an entirely new person. Today - at 53 - he can't remember what a doctor or a pill look like. He sometimes fasts for 40 days straight! Only water. Your explanation about insulin vs. HGH makes sense (gotta ask him about that)! So great motivational video with awesome insights and love your temperament and enthusiasm. Subbed.
