The new beta ar has the new ‘gortex pro most durable’ shell that’s why it doesn’t have the rip stop fabric.
Yes, but that plus ripstop would’ve created an even more durable product. I imagine it’s probably similar in durability to the original design. I think it would’ve been nice to see an increase, but that’s why I wish someone from the company would let me know why they chose not to go goretex pro plus ripstop

I prefer the old goretex . I have a BETA and is just too thin. Under heavy rain it i dont feel is going to hold much
It holds forever. I’ve never had my Beta wet out except for around the wrists when they’re dirty. It’s thinner, but its waterproofness is top notch.
You didn't even take it out in the rain yet lol, how do you know it's not gonna hold
@@100percentMozarella i did.. multiple times.. i work outside, is just doesnt reflecf that price braket. My beyond clothing shell performs better and is a $174 dollars jacket (on sale )
