With these dynamo hubs its crucial to set a tiny little bit of bearing play, as there is no way to feel if the bearing rotate smoothly by hand. Actually i think they all set too tight from factory, at least in mine hub one of the race even had a hole in it.
@@Superogobongo At 3:15, the washer is installed ‘in reverse’ from how it should be mounted. After the film is assembled, at 3:17, the upper washer is already installed correctly.

At 2:26, where do you buy the two tools you used? Are they specialized tools?
these are old bicycle wrenches but you can use normal hubs wrenches for same size

Just good quality grease or recommended by shimano 😜
On 3:26-3:27 you have turned the pad without comment! Without noticing it assembly can go very wrong!
