Thank you for this! I'll be going exact same route. I've seen a bunch of pics with these installed but most of them have lowered the car as well. I don't plan on lowering mine so glad I saw how the setup looks with stock height.
I live in Iowa and while the FL5 is not a daily driver it will see some winter driving. Staying with the stock 4S tires isn't an option in below freezing temperatures. Also the 30 series profile was a concern on winter roads. With limited wheel options at a decent price I ended up going with SuperSpeed RF03RR 18x9.5 with +45 offset with factory matching center bore of 64.1. Wheels are also available in 38 offset but with the tires I was putting on, Michelin Pilot AS4 265/35/18, the sidewall is more round and wouldn't look right. Your +35 offset is very aggressive but does look good with the factory tire sidewall profile. I'll probably go the spacer route next summer because I do like the stock wheels. Side note- You should consider PPF behind the rear wheels with how much wider the track is.
I have PPF back there but instead I highly recommend front vent guard/low profile mudguard and rear mudguard. I bought a set of FX3D rock guard kit and very happy with a peace of mind I'm not slinging rocks onto the painted surface
Makes sense and it looks good. I'd be interested to know if you find any changes handling, positive or negative. I take it this might affect the warranty?
@@waynephilbert Came back from a 300 mile mountain road loop and car did not disappoint in the tight corners. Only if the custom part that you installed has a direct effect on something else, overall warranty will not get voided.

Looks great. I think I am going 15/20 rather than 20/25, but that's just my preference.

Great install video as always man, very detailed and thorough explanation, this is the reason why I'm subbed and can't wait for the next video

Hey man love your videos, can you make a video on how to remove or put rear seats on a taco access cab please and thanks
@@austinbetancool8581 I can try and record that. Might be a few weeks out on that though…

Nope
