There used to be a nice red brick old fashioned hospital in Blackburn but it also got demolished and replaced with a housing estate and a modern extension was added to the other hospital in Blackburn
2:50 the old red, white & blue stripes on the ground reminds me of the old St Lenards hospital where I was born and was demolished a few years ago, like All Saints.
such a beautiful authentic old-fashion beautiful hospital, a realy great find you have done here! Totally love this hospital. It was absolutely sad to hear what they have done with old All Saints. They also did that in the Netherlands. And it looks like the standard to scrap old beautiful hospitals also now enters Germany. I can find out about old hospitals which are about to close at "Kliniksterben" Blog and I considered it as my mission to visit these place, film their lifts and get the authentic atmosphere! The lift tours at Rheda-Wiedenbrück hospital, Elisabeth hospital Velbert Neviges and Marienhospital Schwelm are such places. These hospitals are closed and there is no chance for any lift filmer to get the lift there anymore...
the videos of Rheda-Wiedenbrück, Elisabeth hospital Velbert and Marienhospital Schwelm are already online and can be found on my channel. The old hospital of Rees is still not online yet. This hospital also closed June 2013...
***** and now the next hopital close. Saint Anna Hospital in Wuppertal closes end of 2015, hospital Prenzlauer Berg (in Berlin) also closes end of 2015. Both are really beautiful old fashion hospitals. I have a lift tour of St Anna hospital on my channel. I wonder if Ealing hospital does still exist... beside the modernisations, I actually liked the passenger lifts at Ealing hospital. Never seen a set of four lifts with windowed doors before.
2 hospitals near me that you would like..... Mount Vernon hospital (Middlesex) and Wokingham Hospital (Berkshire). My Hospital down the road also has some relics within... Hillingdon Hospital (Middlesex). in the 60s tower block you can still find old pneumatic tube receptacles and the ward I stayed on there, the Churchill ward is one of the last existing EMS huts in use so I read. It was built in the 40's (still super comfortable in there) awesome video by the way :)
This hospital is totally awesome and it's remind me Rail Hospital in Wroclaw, Poland. This is full of stuff from 70s and have loads of old ZREMB passenger lifts and service lifts. And this hospital is still exists!
Essex County Hospital is an Old fashioned hospital. Just like Marilyn Monroe's Hospital lift tour what is meant to be like Marilyn Monroe. Those lifts are awesome!
Back in its hay day. I love to live in this place. Its the same with the 1950's & 60's psychiatric hospitals in their prime.I am not talking about the care that they gave you. But I was talking about the environment only. I love to design my home like these places. Brick walls shinning bricks & terrazzo floors. I love institutional environments. Especially mid 1950's style.
love old places like this, like you do. radiotelephones lol (and one word as well!) 5:55 hey, this is like the one I filmed here "BlickGlen" branded lift with lucky machine room tour! (was possibly a Bennie lift) Look like bennie buttons internally - nice one!
These places are awesome! The lift buttons at 5:55 are Dewhurst buttons (back when Dewhurst made nice looking buttons). I have one of these button panels in my collection.
up in the US where I live we do have alot of nice old buildings like this that arent so interesting on the inside because every old building nowadays has modern day junk but they still have really cool exterior
I have been trying to get into Barts for ages. There person at reception only unlocks for door when they let someone in. and they are always on the lookout for people sneaking in.
thats just silly why would a company or so so want to demolish a hospital were some one was born as wouldn't it be more then a hospital something like Memory's like to for your parents or something its practically secroft hospital as it has a creepy clock tower thats either working or stuck on 12:00 or as most of the disused bits well im not sure if its hald abandond half used lol
Yeah. It starts off and slows down too smoothly, and the logic has been replaced with that horrid cheap time wasting logic that makes that very generic beep.
Finally a lift tour with no crappy modern generics!

1:57 I do like those vintage railings on the lobby stairwell that looks so cool

This reminds me of the hospital where my aunt works. There's a video on my channel of the lift there.

You should check out SPDSK in Warsaw. It has a nice, old gated ZREMB lift.
5:54 the 1960s one was actually the only lift/elevator that you rode that was an actual automatic door setup
That furse lift I really loved that one
I remember this place well. Dad used to be based here back in the 80s in the works department. Sadly it has now closed.
Keira Tendo, Swan Nayvous, Margarete Itsumura - Old fashioned hospital

That 1960s generic looks like a old Bennie lift.
Based on the buttons (because of the curved letters).
Very nice lifts.
Should visit sheffield hospital its got some nice old lifts
The ST Barts in Medway is one of the oldest hospitals left and has two old lifts in it ,You must try to sneak in there
I have been trying to get into Barts for ages. There person at reception only unlocks for door when they let someone in. and they are always on the lookout for people sneaking in.
Do a lift tour at Sheffield children's hospital
Really nice historic building, probably full of Asbestos?
Nah, the hospital could of been closed for asbestos removal then reopened
I love old fashioned stuff! I hate those stupid generic lifts though.
5:57 thought you didn't like generics?
Lift mania NI He likes old 1900-1970's generics, but not the newer ones.
thats just silly why would a company or so so want to demolish a hospital were some one was born as wouldn't it be more then a hospital something like Memory's like to for your parents or something its practically secroft hospital as it has a creepy clock tower thats either working or stuck on 12:00 or as most of the disused bits well im not sure if its hald abandond half used lol
This hospital closed a few years ago
this hospital has since closed (closed in 2015)
Sadly the place is now been abandoned
What if you found a really old hospital but all the lifts are crap generics?
Happens all the time
that 1960´s generic sounds like it has gone trough a modern crappy VF-mod... :(
Yeah. It starts off and slows down too smoothly, and the logic has been replaced with that horrid cheap time wasting logic that makes that very generic beep.
I thought you didn't like generic
NEW Generics the old ones he loves
What a waste of time! I wish that you would have shown more of the hospital itself?
This was boring, thatt's my opinion anyway
