I haven't played little big planet in years. I still remember getting excited with my little sister when we saw the article for LBP 1 in my dad's game informer magazine. I don't look back at a lot of my childhood and smile, but little big planet got me through a lot growing up. From my parents divorce to bullies to just being lonely. It was always that little tiny beacon of hope I'd have whenever I'd go over to my dad's house to play it. Thank you for this video and this channel. Seriously it hits home for me.
I always remember being younger and hearing that song, thinking it was “if you ever stand on my *bench*, I’ll bring you down”. Despite the song being called my path lol
It makes me feel very refreshed whenever I see your LittleBigPlanet videos. They're always entertaining, informative and enlightening. They bring me the sense of nostalgia that I crave when I think of the series, as I've played the three main games, Karting and Prehistoric Move throughout my childhood. Don't stop making these videos, please. They make me very happy.
LBP3 did actually have some proven talent on the team. Tarsier Studios had been making dlc content for the series since the first game and even worked on LBP Vita which in my opinion is the best in the series purely for its create mode tools and performance. My best guess is that keeping LBP3 backwards compatible with both previous games after moving to new hardware was their biggest mistake, not to mention also making a PS3 version AND releasing within a very short period of time
I remember playing LBP 1 for years, even after LBP 2 came out. My parents got LBP 2 for my brother on his birthday then when LBP 3 was out I got it for Christmas. I've met so many friends on LBP, I still talk to many of them. I still do play LBP here and there, I played it alot when I was in the hospital since I had nothing else to do. Just playing LBP with my siblings was enough to brighten my whole day, or even just watching them playing. LBP was a big part of my childhood, seeing that most people don't know what it is nowadays hurts. I'm glad you shared what LBP was and still is, a golden game.
i think the level creator i remember the most was ima_taka. they made the infamous bora bora island level, a titanic level, and a bunch more. i think i always preferred the levels made for exploring and chilling rather than survival or competitive stuff. so many good levels like that.
I've played 1st and 2nd part about when they came out. I was 4 and I can say that I'm made of this game. It played important role in my childhood and gave me a lot of creativity, thinking outside the box, true happines and satisfaction. Now I'm in high school and I'm studing physics, I think this game gave me a better sense of understanding it as it shows principles about movement and momentum and you can interact with mostly everything. I also have perfect pitch, I think it's partly thanks to that game - the The Orb of Dreamers is written in my mind (and GT5 menu music had it's role). I'm thankfull to the creators of this amazing game (that changed so much in my life) for making such a pice of art full of imagination, details, meaning and dreaming and most important - love. Thank you.
Seeing LittleBigPlanet is just such a beauty when you go into Create mode and play the story mode. Create mode let's you use your imagination and the limit is your mind, The concept was just so cool. The Story mode inspires you and gives you ideas on what to create next! LittleBigPlanet gave us so many memories and still does to this day!
Since I only had the digital version of LBP2 there was a problem which made it unplayable (something with the account that I couldn't fix) so in order to play it again after years I had to buy a physical copy and boy do I remember how thrilled I was to just replay the story mode and it was fun. It was so much fun to re-experience that precious thing from my childhood again. After that I wanted to try out LBP3 because I now have adult money and can just buy whatever and was expecting to have a new LittleBigExperience with it, with obviously it being different due to lack of nostalgia. I barely played through Manglewood, the hollywood swamp theme. Not only did I feel none of the charm of the first two games but even just the mechanics didn't feel right. Having to collect these weird bells to unlock costumes, moving inside that hub world instead of jumping from level to level from my pod. It felt like I was playing a spin-off game or off-brand LBP clone that tried to do too much to separate itself from the rest of the series. I still have it but I'm pretty sure I won't play it for quite a while. It was rather a LittleBigDisappointment.
Lbp3 is amazing, Im very happy that i grew up playing it, It was an amazing game for me.. It was everything a child who had adhd could ask for which yes, I did have adhd and it makes me think very creatively so the game was right for me, i begged my parents to buy the game until they did finally a month after and i made alot of online friends, coming back from school in the 2017-2018's to play for 5 hours straight, This game will forever be alive in my heart, i just hope they make a lbp4 (sackboy's big adventure doesn't count) that is a lbp2 but with aton of mixes, like 3d gameplay (optional in community games) even more crazier customization and better online friends system, Like a data backup so you can have all of your online friends back and all stuff, Sadly not every happy thing in the world remains forever..
My older cousin had the game and used to absolutely DUNK on me and my cousins during the basketball minigame of 2. It inspired me years later to get 2 myself and play through it, one of the coolest ways I've seen creators expressed their creativity.
To be honest, the first time i played this, it was completely fine. It was not buggy, broken, no profile corruption and no issues. Im not sure if it was just my experience or i just didn’t notice it
The first game, LBP1 was my childhood. I'd spend hours and hours playing the story mode to get as many items as possible, trying not to die. I was pretty young, so winning the last level had been practically impossible for me. I played with my uncle, and not even with his help we were able to win. One day, however, when my siblings, my uncle and I were having a "pajama party" of sorts, and everyone had already gone to sleep, I finally managed to beat it! And on my own! It was a pretty big accomplishment for me. I wasn't the type to play on community levels, or create levels of my own. I really liked the story mode and stuck with that. Years later, I got LBP2. I got it on a Friday, and when I woke up the next day, I was sick with a fever. That didn't stop me from playing though. I finished all the story mode in the weekend. This time, it felt really easy, probably because I was older and it was less difficult. Once again, I didn't really play any of the community levels. I know it's a big part of the game, but for some reason it never really appealed to me. I still play it with my friends when they come over, or just by myself (I'm still trying to get a perfect level on the final boss battle lol) I'd like to get LBP Karting, because I'd like to have a cars game to play with my friends when they come over (they'll not escape my LBP obsession lol). And I'm still a bit doubtful on getting LBP3 at some point because of all the bad things people say about it, but maybe it's not that bad? I mean, I did play a little bit of it at my friend's house and it was pretty cool. Either ways, even though I have only played through 2 games, this is my favourite game franchise ever!
I've had a troubled teen-hood and trauma from my past so a lot of memories have gotten blurry and fuzzy though I remember fun times with this series, in perhaps 2009 or 11 my parents bought a PS3 with little big planet game of the year edition of the first game, my favorite was LBP 2 when it came out. I was so invested with that game, I even finished the story levels.
For all the people that have just gotten to this video im sorry to say this but, the little big plant games below 3 no longer have working servers. Sorry there was a ddos attack and it just sped up the process of the servers going extinct
Ohhhh my gosh bro no way I didn’t know anyone also played angry birds bomb survival!! I’ve recently gone down the little big planet rabbit hole again and had this video in my recommended, the funny thing is a literally made a bomb survival level today because the servers are down and I really wanted to play it 😭!!
When I got my PS3, it came with LBP2. So that was the first LBP game I ever played until I got LBP1 for Christmas, and I had LBP3 digitally, but I didn't play it that much.
Not gonna lie, while LBP 2 was always and will always be my favorite game in the series and favorite game in general, I think LBP 3 isn't that bad, I've never played the first one
the first LBP game i played is LBP2 for PS3 digital version in like 2016 ish, and i finished the game, i got back to it in 2020 and started playing online stuff, i got LBP3 (physically) and i had a blast!! The only crash that I had was changing to oddsock in manglewood, but I didn’t get any profile corruption!! But now, I have retired from LBP because of the LBP PS3 and vita server shutdown.
Don’t worry i only reupload levels if we are alowed to do so Otherwise i only copy them to my moon so i can capture ther characters so i can add them to my roster That way if i am unable to get the components those characters have i can use ther characters as the source object for my characters
LBP2/3 and Minecraft where my favorite games to play with my friend when we played on his PS3 and when I got a PS4 I remembered they still have them so I'm December imma treat my self with both of those gamea
I still play lbp3 since the lbp series has been my favorite since i was little, it makes me sad they never fixed the game and now hackers are ruining it. I still hope that maybe on some magical day they would fix the game or make lbp4, but one can only hope so much.
Started with LBP3 again but this time on the PS5 and damn, the loading times are a lot faster than LBP on the PS3. Except a bug where I get kicked to the pod when I try to start an extremely overfilled level I haven't encountered any other bug yet.

I don’t even know how people were getting profile corrections in Lbp three, I never had any profile corruption until I started getting thousands of modded costumes, and then the hacker server shutdown started going on.
me who litterally 100% the trilogy on my ps3, going as far to jailbreak in oder to grab the limited Dlc and spent hours on collecting and surffing the internet: *coughs*
My brother and I played this to death, we loved the first 2 but never got around to the third one for some reason, I love these games so much, it was probably the first game I ever played, as I was born in 2007, a year before the game came out, but man, I love them, I played the karting game too, and the psp versions aswell, i absolutely love it
LBP1: Holy f that is some me when i was 4 nostalgia LBP2: Memories man. This was me and my brothers game. every day, this video game LBP3: This was after the PS3 died, so I never got it, I heard it wasn't that great though....Toggle, Sock, and the bird guy whos name i cant remember were cute tho
The horror leves were impeccable LBP really had the best community levels during LBP2 disappointed LB3 wasn’t as strong in the story or the multiplayer aspect
I don’t remember much but I got lbp3 4 days after it was released (right on my birthday), I played off the ps3 version- I did experience some of these bugs 😭 I had more fun with lbp2, I got all 3 when I was a child (including psp and vita) now I do and don’t miss playing it- the copied community games were annoying so I had more fun playing story mode.
Cyberpunk 2077 in a nutshell: 16:17 And yes i'm watching this while The servers are down lol #SaveLBP #BringBackLBP Btw this ost reminds me from Concrete Genie 15:54
I played the third game since it was launched and I never had any problems with it. I am honestly surprised to hear how buggy the game was, because I played online with my friend and we had a great time. It sucks that it was so buggy for others.
I wish you included sackboy in this. Its not a bad game, but Im new to the series, and I find it lacking in terms of just being another platformer thats fun, but short and replayability is only the collectathon style gameplay of things you cant even use in your own level
Media molecule I think they have stated that they don't want to go back to little big planet and or sack boy little big adventure due to dreams , dreams is basically LBPs core , it's not game game but a game engine and designer , it's virtually endless possibilities and so they are happy with it
I didn't even know LBP3 got hate or had anything wrong with it, I didn't run into any issues or bugs, crashes, etc, at all, it was just a great fun new LBP game to play. The whole series is just near and dear to my heart, I played 1, 2 n' 3 with my brothers and have so many fond memories playing those games - and when they eventually released those throw back DLC levels in 3, I was in nostslgi'awe. I hope LittleBigPlanet can make a little big come back some day, the games industry could really.. REALLY, do with some more imagination and creativity.
does anyone remember that full ass sonic game with like 15 levels or so and a final boss? i think it was called sonic 2d adventure but its been on my mind for awhile
they probably shouldve just got rid of the copy levels or disable being able to post copied levels and maybe make another dlc pack and contain all the previous dlcs and put it on a ps4 disc and in a ps4 case and then release it. it probably wouldve not only done better but the series would probably be one of sonys 1st party giants to this day
Personally Lbp3 is the best game in the series for me, considering I experienced little to no glitches with the game. Lbp 3 brings me so much nostalgia.
For me lbp2 is the first ps3 game I played and ps3 is the first console I had when I was 7 I think? And me and my brother and 2 sisters played the story mode like a 1000 times and when we got ps4 what's the first game we played?....yes, LBP3 when we beat it 4 times and got bored
Personally I did like that you could save levels you found that the community made, but thats more because I saved them on my own moon so I could play the levels offline. I think it was a good feature that it let you copyright levels, but I think its really weird that it let you just reupload them as community levels when they had been copied from someone else
lbp1: very good but has a fucking method of stealing pepoles hard work lbp2: lbp but alot better but still has a fucking method of stealing pepoles hard work lbp3: .... A FUCKING MESS
some of those bugs still aren't even fixed until now, because mine can't even connect to the Internet to play other people's levels anymore and it's not a problem with my PS4 or Internet, both are totally fine because I'm signed into my account and connected to the Wi-Fi it just won't connect in game
I haven't played little big planet in years. I still remember getting excited with my little sister when we saw the article for LBP 1 in my dad's game informer magazine. Now LBP 3 is the _only_ LBP, since the servers for 1 and 2 shut down

I miss this franchise, it was unique and made you feel at home. Remember playing LBP 1 for the first time (11 years ago) like it was yesterday.

i think the level creator i remember the most was ima_taka. they made the infamous bora bora island level, a titanic level, and a bunch more. i think i always preferred the levels made for exploring and chilling rather than survival or competitive stuff. so many good levels like that.

I've played 1st and 2nd part about when they came out. I was 4 and I can say that I'm made of this game. LBP1: Holy f that is some me when i was 4 nostalgia
LBP2: Memories man. This was me and my brothers game. every day, this video game
LBP3: This was after the PS3 died, so I never got it, I heard it wasn't that great though....Toggle, Sock, and the bird guy whos name i cant remember were cute tho
Man TH-cam pranked me. I thought that LBP ad was real for a second cause a pop up saying “Sponsored” just so happens to appear.
The horror leves were impeccable LBP really had the best community levels during LBP2 disappointed LB3 wasn’t as strong in the story or the multiplayer aspect
I don’t remember much but I got lbp3 4 days after it was released (right on my birthday), I played off the ps3 version- I did experience some of these bugs 😭 I had more fun with lbp2, I got all 3 when I was a child (including psp and vita) now I do and don’t miss playing it-
the copied community games were annoying so I had more fun playing story mode.
Little big planet 3 is really good and I believe the hate isn't justified
Cyberpunk 2077 in a nutshell: 16:17
And yes i'm watching this while The servers are down lol
#SaveLBP #BringBackLBP
Btw this ost reminds me from Concrete Genie 15:54
I played the third game since it was launched and I never had any problems with it. I am honestly surprised to hear how buggy the game was, because I played online with my friend and we had a great time. It sucks that it was so buggy for others.
congrats on your first sponsor!
I was boutta ask if this is a repost than I realized he just put all 3 retrospective videos together
I wish you included sackboy in this. Its not a bad game, but Im new to the series, and I find it lacking in terms of just being another platformer thats fun, but short and replayability is only the collectathon style gameplay of things you cant even use in your own level
Ayyy!! Victinis first sponsor
The boost boots weren't made using the power-up creator lol, they are their own power-up
Amazing video.
I also love the LBP series, and I started on the PSP as well
I'm honestly surprised that lbp3 was a mess I remembered the game fondly growing up
Nobody can take that away from me
8:43
My favorite moment of all time
There also was a glitch that locked some lbp3 player out of create mode because everythin was grey and unusable
Media molecule I think they have stated that they don't want to go back to little big planet and or sack boy little big adventure due to dreams , dreams is basically LBPs core , it's not game game but a game engine and designer , it's virtually endless possibilities and so they are happy with it
now go get sponsored by honey
Little big planet for ps vita is literally my childhood
Congratulations on your sponsorship 😎
I didn't even know LBP3 got hate or had anything wrong with it, I didn't run into any issues or bugs, crashes, etc, at all, it was just a great fun new LBP game to play. The whole series is just near and dear to my heart, I played 1, 2 n' 3 with my brothers and have so many fond memories playing those games - and when they eventually released those throw back DLC levels in 3, I was in nostslgi'awe. I hope LittleBigPlanet can make a little big come back some day, the games industry could really.. REALLY, do with some more imagination and creativity.
Lbp3 is cool in community and features, but the vibe and story was kinda different, in a mediocre way. It didnt really feel so lbp.
Plus even though you didn’t encounter bugs, it doesnt mean that everyone else didnt.
I was born on the same day as when littlebigplanet 1 launched in North America. Oct/21/08
There is won't be Making a remastered of LBP 1 and 2 and 3 sadly
No point in remastering 3 when its fully playable on PlayStation 5 already
does anyone remember that full ass sonic game with like 15 levels or so and a final boss? i think it was called sonic 2d adventure but its been on my mind for awhile
Man I was hooked to this, still hanging on to my rare crown
The strange thing is that when i played the latam version of lbp3 we didn't have so many problems!
The intro had me assuming you were the Sonic LBP TH-camr I usd to watch in 2012-2013
they probably shouldve just got rid of the copy levels or disable being able to post copied levels and maybe make another dlc pack and contain all the previous dlcs and put it on a ps4 disc and in a ps4 case and then release it. it probably wouldve not only done better but the series would probably be one of sonys 1st party giants to this day
Personally Lbp3 is the best game in the series for me, considering I experienced little to no glitches with the game.
Even without glitches i think the campaign was dissappointing. It had nice ideas, but it was very short and the extra characters were very gimmicky.
Personally I did like that you could save levels you found that the community made, but thats more because I saved them on my own moon so I could play the levels offline. I think it was a good feature that it let you copyright levels, but I think its really weird that it let you just reupload them as community levels when they had been copied from someone else
yo BlazingVictini got a sponsor, well done Victini
Lbp 1 music is so nostalgic to me
My man is getting sponsors! Nice
lbp1: very good but has a fucking method of stealing pepoles hard work
lbp2: lbp but alot better but still has a fucking method of stealing pepoles hard work
lbp3: .... A FUCKING MESS
Nintendo giving back Metroid to retro studios was like .."shit we fucked it up here have it back , rather than showing this to the public " ..
Me and my cousin used my moon as a way to dress up our chareters and well play as if they were dolls 😅
I was pretty lucky with lbp3 bugs. I barely experienced any. Well until my load got corrupted
some of those bugs still aren't even fixed until now, because mine can't even connect to the Internet to play other people's levels anymore
and it's not a problem with my PS4 or Internet, both are totally fine because I'm signed into my account and connected to the Wi-Fi it just won't connect in game
I have played this recently, and the bugs are in there, some to a lesser degree, but some are still there.
I wish Sony showed you the amount of time you spent on a game. Guarantee my pt would be in the 100’s
