The patience, and persistence of wildlife photographers totally amazes me, and I am so thankful for what they do, because without them I would never even know there was such an animal as the Sea Wolf. Thank you so much for what you do.
Thank you so much for sharing this film...Even one sighting is magnificent. What a treat. I have been fascinated wolves since I was a child - still can't get enough.
Speaking as someone who grew up on the BC coast, and has spent nearly a decade photographing and observing these wolves, this documentary sums it up so well. Long days, crazy temperature swings, high humidity, and creatures dependent on the tides make photographing here extremely challenging. Wolf glimpses are often fleeting moments, ones that even experienced photographers struggle to capture. But when they do come out, the beauty of them and their place in this ecosystem is so clear. Great captures John & team.
Perfect video. Thanks John! It was great meeting you in Calgary too. Thanks for signing my book. You tell stories so well. Keep up the fight to protect these amazing animals and bring awareness like you do!!
John E. Marriott, I stumbled upon this series on TH-cam yesterday and started watching all of it. I have adored your work for years, whenever I travel in the Canadian Rockies. I always wished I would run in into you some where in the wild, but never happened. I love photography and specially wildlife, and you had been an inspiration. Darwin Wigget is my other idol, whom I was fortunate enough to meet while in Abbotsford. I love the Rockies and the wilderness, maybe I will be lucky to get into a wildlife tour with you, since now I live in Victoria, BC.
What an experience John! Those coastal wolves are stunning creatures. I absolutely love wolves, one of my favourite animals in the world. I've only ever seen them in captivity here in the UK and it breaks my heart. There is an area in Scotland called the Alladale Wilderness Reserve that has been back and forth with the British government for years to reintroduce the wolf back into Scotland to control Reed Deer herds and and improve biodiversity. So good to see another of your videos! Take care.
I'm so happy you're still making this show! I really wish to visit such wild places one day, untouched by humans (or barely touched), I think they are beautiful. Just like your photos. I'm sincerely grateful for this series and the showcase of footage from your adventures. Thank you for continuing to do so!
Absolutely fantastic John, what a trip! And the scenery is just awesome! As you well Know that’s Wildlife photography but the thrill of seeing them happily in their natural environment is magical. So pleased you managed to get some shots in the bag and video. I really enjoyed watching as always, been following you for years and have enjoyed many a read of your wonderful books. Keep up the great work, and let’s hope Wolf future survival through viewing and photography can happen, an opportunity not to be missed. All the best, Richard (UK) 🙏👍
Love your work John, your passion for conservation of wildlife in general is a real eye opener for the rest of the world. Keep it up, wish you and the rest all the success.
Hello John! Great adventure there you got with friends , how fascinating there to know about sea wolves, their diet also varies from wolves of main land that feeds on bison elks and deers I hope to come there someday to see the McKenzie valley wolf
Ive been looking for wolves in Michigan for a couple months, almost obsessed lol. Weve talked to DNR and wolf biologists in the area and they told us some areas to go, weve saw plenty of fresh wolf tracks and scat. Then we bought a few trail cameras, placed them and about 10 minutes back in the truck we saw a wolf cross the road in front of us about 100 yards ahead, a few weeks later when we went to check the trail cameras our third and fourth video we had a wolf. It was the same night we set them and about 5 hours after we seen that one, the cameras were less then 2 miles away so it was probably the same wolf we saw. Havent saw any sense, but we did see a black bear and a bobcat! Wolves are amazing animals and im glad theyre making a comeback in the US!
Great question, likely to do with the biomass of the prey species on the coast being less than the prey on the mainland. A moose goes a long way compared to an otter, for instance.
Wolves have noticable intelligence, love the wild. Theres a Tiger which lives Coastaly to if I remember correctly, not in that place obviously. Imagine having lived 1000years ago..all the predators in abundance, so scary.
Lady wolf: I guess I'll give them a few publicity poses. Peekaboo European ones too, but I am NOT letting them ruin our entire second honeymoon. Charles! We need this break away from the kids. 🐺

Agreed! To see a wolf in the wild is incredibly special! Trapping needs to change

Awesome!
You’re spot on with the economic argument. That’s pretty much the only thing that resonates with politicians
Another wonderful documentary John. On my bucket list.

John F. Marriott, one of our Earth's Heroes. Deepest gratitude.
100x better than watching Netflix.
Thank you for this video and it is very educational!
Wolf tourism would be a good way to go for sure! Just spent some time in Finland watching bears and they have made a good business out of that
What a great episode. Really inspiring. Thanks for sharing John

Great stuff John!
the intro is so cool and this show is like a tv show
Great episode! Love the footage of wolves!
You do really have a gorgeous country there! It's on my bucket list, Hopefully :\
Great video! Any chance of adding that Exposed toque to the store? Or a ball cap? Would buy in a second.
It's in the works!
Awesome expedition you had. Thank you so much for sharing the video. How could I join you for your next trip?
Have been waiting for your content and it never disappoints, beautiful everything!
Great video - sorry you didn’t have better luck.
Ha, it was worth it, though! Hope you guys are well!
If coastal bears are bigger than inland bears, why are coastal wolves smaller than inland wolves? Nicely edited video. Beautiful area.
Great question, likely to do with the biomass of the prey species on the coast being less than the prey on the mainland. A moose goes a long way compared to an otter, for instance.
loved the documentary! which camera do you use?
Absolutely beautiful coastal wolves John! Like & Sub 👍
7 photographers with big-ass lenses, hard not to spot them :D
Wolves have noticable intelligence, love the wild.

I’d love to visit that area

When you say the location was picked by Marvin, and you refer to him a few times, is that Marvin R?
Welcome wildlife photography Rajasthan
What camera is this shot on?
Lady wolf: I guess I'll give them a few publicity poses. Peekaboo European ones too, but I am NOT letting them ruin our entire second honeymoon. Charles! We need this break away from the kids. 🐺
How do you take these trips to wildlife photograph
Would using a fresh kill as bait been effective? A domestic sheep carcass could have been used.
Where was this
How can I be a wildlife photographer just after completing graduation. Please tell me I am very passionate about wildlife photography.
Hootenany Wolves in particular as well as other info on exposed...Can you donate one time vs monthly and be an "insider"?

Why the does your channel have millions of followers?
Good photography and interesting videos but the screaming guitar intro. is kind of ridiculous for what you're doing.
Yes, stop hunting stop trapping wolves please.
i'm not fully agree to make these spot for tourist watch... people will only destroy
Spots like these would only be accessed by licensed local guides who know the area and the wildlife, no big crowds or parking lots in sight!
come on bro, speak a lot
The wolves are smart, they dont show easily
Awesome!
