    For anyone trying this on a Q8/SQ8/RSQ8… it’s even more tricky due to all the extra sturdy tabs and rubber inserts. And damn those springs that hold the airbag… are so hard. At least on my SQ8.
    Fight the good fight and try to not to break too many clips… you got this 🤝

    b8's have the worst board to pull the pin from to install urus shift paddles. i had to heat the plastic and put a small hole in them to push the pin out far enough to grab it. got the paddles installed but i looked at every other make with paddles and they were all open ended on both sides. looks like they figured it out when their shifters go bad. made my carbon steering wheel look even better too!
    great video, thanks!

    Great exhaust sound, is this after the Unitronic tune?

    • @Vaguh

      In this video, I was on the 034 stage 2 tune. The sound is mostly due to the RedStar downpipe and VPS pre-muffler delete kit. The tune helps, too.

    How much are the paddles? There is no way I’m taking all of that apart. It’d never go back together! I’m guessing it’s a “2 hour” labor charge at $125+/hr from the dealership. Probably around $350-$400 complete??

    • @Vaguh
      @Vaguh  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Paddles are about $150 plus tax if you use our code in the description. It took me about 2 hours the first time since I had never done it before. After putting it together, I realized I forgot to put two screws back in, and took everything apart and back together in less than 30 minutes. I’m not going to lie, it’s a pain, but I really like the upgrade.
