We had to learn all the continent names and locations, and the same with countries. Has the education changed that much in the time I've been gone? They have some kind of "science" as a subject and what they teach on these classes is some kind of a history x geography mess, usually they only learn about the USA. I think they also teach a clump of biology, chemistry and physics all in one, they don't have dedicated subjects to each one of them, and if they do, it's not mandatory in most states
