I was shade matched to 160 C and was I’ve never been a Cool in my life! Confusing. I wanted to love this but it made my skin look dry and textured. I’m looking to replace TF BTW for political reasons and just cannot find a replacement. 🙃
If you like the TF BTW, have you tried the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear? It's one of my top fav full natural coverage. Very similar to TF and it's a thin formula and doesn't weigh heavy anywhere. It's a oldie. But goodie😁💋 I would definitely get a sample and try it out 👌❤

We found a good one 😃 definitely for those with normal to dry skin, plus I didn’t have an allergic reaction, and bonus... long lasting. I also had the same issue at color matching, the neutrals pull a little orange on my skin, and that is not the common, to the point I had to get a cool undertone and bronze up good. Tara Lynn great review!!! It is the best!!!!! I really enjoy this foundation as well. I agree with the undertones, they tend to run warm and I had to go with a cool even though I am normally neutral. Definitely a go to Ulta and try on foundation. I had the same problem with the Pat McGrath foundation besides the horrific allergic reaction, It did not blend and was very patchy!! Honestly, this is a WAY better foundation that PM. You can sheer this out with a sponge and get a nice light coverage and have it last all day. It's beautiful ❤❤ And wayyy less money😁
I think the word radiance is correct, it doesn't look greasey at all. It looks young and fresh, to me. I personally think Pat McGrath looks more editorial which does not fit the needs of the masses on a regular basis. While ABH foundation fits the needs of the masses more who lives a more active stressful life. I bet ABH foundation will look good on oily skin if powdered because it doesn't look greasey and it's long wear. But, I doubt if oily people will gravitate to it because of the dewiness. Btw, have you tried Chantecaille blur powder under your foundation? Watch Michele Wang's part #2 of the Chantecaille blur powder review She felt it made her cheeks look like #babycheeks. I bet the ABH foundation would look fantastic with the blur powder under it.

Undertones are off. I got 320N normally I am cool medium. But so far I really like it . I had a struggle I tried to match with my perfect match in store and putting them side by side then sephora helped me and a different color matched better on face .

So far I've seen someone compare it to laura mercier flawless lumiere and now your saying givenchy so I'm going to love it those are two I love. I had to get 240 n which has a warm neutral undertone their undertones are annoying I like a good regular neutral undertone. Mine is on the way now I've even more excited.

Its my favorite foundation 🤗🤗 i wear for years Vitalumiere Aqua by Chanel, tried the Armani Luminous Skin but when I put this foundation its exactly what I'm looking for my skin. Medium coverage, light but not creasy. Like a victorian porcelain doll ahha. I picked my shade with the Sephora beauty team, it was tricky but we choose the 110C because of my fair skin and I will pick a different shade with summer. But this shade match perfeclty with my skin and my look. Just warm a little with some bronzer and blush but just a little bit. And 1 pump and an half is enough with a sponge. I will try with a brush someday :)
Hi Tara! This definitely looks like a great contender! I wish the PM had worn like that. (I tried some Mac Skin Refined Zone with the PM and it helped it to not break up so badly). This will definitely be an in store selection after your comments about finding the correct shade. I hope that these extreme undertones aren’t becoming the new normal in foundation. It doesn’t make it easier, it makes it harder. It really did look like a natural wear down, which is awesome. The radiance was very nice and not overdone. It's REALLY hard. Its been a tough week, but I keep reminding myself to be grateful he's going to college and count those blessings. Lol. But I just don't know what my house will be like without him. It definitely is a blessing for sure. My girls went to college locally but my son went across the state to University of Michigan where he was offered basically a free ride and earned his BS in Chemical Engineering. (Sadly for me, he now lives and works on that side of the state too 😢) I remember taking him there vividly like it was yesterday. It was one of the hardest things I’ve had to do is turn and leave him there. My heart goes out to you. It’s a milestone not only in your son’s life but yours as well. It gets easier with time, I promise. I’ll be thinking of you. 💕
The lighting at Sephora is terrible too. I’m getting Halo laser tomorrow for hyperpigmentation and scars - I can’t wait - had so many chemical peels but it keeps coming back. I’m taking advantage of half off the regular price because it’s not cheap. I’m to the point I’d rather invest in that stuff than makeup - so tired of needing full coverage but wanting to look natural. I’m tempted to do under eye fillers too because concealer doesn’t knock out darkness because it’s hollows 😢
You mention it "setting down" a few times and you seemed to mean something different each time. Do you mean the foundation dries and is smooth to the touch? Or that it doesn't transfer? Or something about it not balling up or coming off when you use powder? All the reviews so far love the formula but say the shades are all very yellow, so I hope my Ulta gets it. I'm pale and pink right now, even my actual neutral foundations are too yellow
I thought this looked pretty on you but agree on the shade match. I went into store and actually couldn't find a shade match for myself! They ran too yellow or too pink or too light. However, I did pick up the ABH powder in Vanilla and really like it.
Another great foundation video! I was going to Ulta today and feeling like a change in my foundation. I'm going to look into this one. I'm also going to look at the Lancome Skin feels Good for something lighter on these hot days. Two totally different ones but I will buy both. ❤❤❤
You are so right.........these are really strong undertones! What I would have that was my shade would have me looking like an oompa loompa! I was shade tested and ended up with a medium skin tone with a neutral pink undertone. Very unusual for me since I tend to be warm yellow or golden undertone. It did feel good on my skin. Will wear it all day tomorrow but so far I think I'm going to like it. 🤞🤞🤞

I’ve noticed that some brands skew pink and some skew yellow, whatever they call their shades. ABH seems to lean very warm/yellow. I have 110C and it is neutral-warm despite the C...
I can't say if it's waterproof, but next time I try it on I will test that. But I wouldn't say it's completely transfer proof, but it's 75% (if that's a way to describe it😁) it comes off on the phone a little when you talk. It wasn’t at my ultra yet but I didn’t end up getting this foundation, I went with the nyx born to glow foundation instead and then tj maxx is right next door and I found some nice Becca, Laura gellar and pixie stuff I picked up. Can you believe that they have the ABH sultry palette there?!?! I thought that was crazy!!! They had it marked down for 27 bucks!

I am really loving this foundation and it stays on well. I tried the urban decay one and it didn’t last long and broke up. Great review!

It's REALLY hard. Its been a tough week, but I keep reminding myself to be grateful he's going to college and count those blessings. Lol. But I just don't know what my house will be like without him. It definitely is a blessing for sure. My girls went to college locally but my son went across the state to University of Michigan where he was offered basically a free ride and earned his BS in Chemical Engineering. (Sadly for me, he now lives and works on that side of the state too 😢) I remember taking him there vividly like it was yesterday. It was one of the hardest things I’ve had to do is turn and leave him there. My heart goes out to you. It’s a milestone not only in your son’s life but yours as well. It gets easier with time, I promise. I’ll be thinking of you. 💕

The lighting at Sephora is terrible too. I’m getting Halo laser tomorrow for hyperpigmentation and scars - I can’t wait - had so many chemical peels but it keeps coming back. I’m taking advantage of half off the regular price because it’s not cheap. I’m to the point I’d rather invest in that stuff than makeup - so tired of needing full coverage but wanting to look natural. I’m tempted to do under eye fillers too because concealer doesn’t knock out darkness because it’s hollows 😢

You mention it "setting down" a few times and you seemed to mean something different each time. Do you mean the foundation dries and is smooth to the touch? Or that it doesn't transfer? Or something about it not balling up or coming off when you use powder? All the reviews so far love the formula but say the shades are all very yellow, so I hope my Ulta gets it. I'm pale and pink right now, even my actual neutral foundations are too yellow
I thought this looked pretty on you but agree on the shade match. I went into store and actually couldn't find a shade match for myself! They ran too yellow or too pink or too light. However, I did pick up the ABH powder in Vanilla and really like it.
Another great foundation video! I was going to Ulta today and feeling like a change in my foundation. I'm going to look into this one. I'm also going to look at the Lancome Skin feels Good for something lighter on these hot days. Two totally different ones but I will buy both. ❤❤❤

You are so right.........these are really strong undertones! What I would have that was my shade would have me looking like an oompa loompa! I was shade tested and ended up with a medium skin tone with a neutral pink undertone. Very unusual for me since I tend to be warm yellow or golden undertone. It did feel good on my skin. Will wear it all day tomorrow but so far I think I'm going to like it. 🤞🤞🤞

@taralynn I agree whole heartedly with your review. I LOVE it! I was lucky to be able to find my shade first time as I live in HK and we only have like 10shades available here! It is fantastic in the heat and relentless humidity here. I adore it and I am struggling to want to wear anything else!

Seriously, the tones are strong on this one. I sure hope this isn't the new normal with foundations. These strong undertones seem to be a "thing". Not sure why. Add more shades, but no one requested to change the undertone and go overboard. 😫 Let me know if you get it and and you think❤💋

I’ve noticed that some brands skew pink and some skew yellow, whatever they call their shades. ABH seems to lean very warm/yellow. I have 110C and it is neutral-warm despite the C...

I can't say if it's waterproof, but next time I try it on I will test that. But I wouldn't say it's completely transfer proof, but it's 75% (if that's a way to describe it😁) it comes off on the phone a little when you talk. It wasn’t at my ultra yet but I didn’t end up getting this foundation, I went with the nyx born to glow foundation instead and then tj maxx is right next door and I found some nice Becca, Laura gellar and pixie stuff I picked up. Can you believe that they have the ABH sultry palette there?!?! I thought that was crazy!!! They had it marked down for 27 bucks!

Tara Lynn ok, I was thinking that the nyx would be a more affordable choice that’s very similar to the ABH. Yes, sad that the sultry palette is marked down so far, but on the other hand I do have it just haven’t used it for a while now, but I know I’ll love that new one coming out!!! With all those purple shades I’ve GOT to get it!!!
