Aslamualikum, brother khalid. I clearly heard the narrator/v-logger saying that these Hitachi and Bombardier manufactured locomotives were imported by Pakistan Railways in 1980's. I having been residing in Toronto Canada for the past 50 years and were not aware of Hitachi (Japan) and Bombardier (Canada) had a joint locomotives manufacturing program.
Aslamualikum, I watch your narrated V-logs at Toronto Canada in remennition of my younger years in Pakistan. I with my brother were student at Peshawere university during 64 - 1965 (war year) and 1966. We mostly traveled via Khaybermail and had to made five round trips between Lahore and Peshawar. Khaybermail was often hauled by very powerful steam locomotives between Rawalpindi to Peshawar then. About two years later we both migrated to UET Lahore. After graduations then during my advanced studies. I also traveled to Karachi (NED) from Lahore. During late 1960's to early 70's days (then west) Pakistan Railways then were using ALPW 14, 16, 18 and 20 also ALU 16, 20 and 24 engines were mostly used. I throughly enjoyed your V-logs. Platform No. 2 is built on the lowest level. Unfortunately, the railways administration have not been able to upgrade this platform in seventy years. This is very unfortunate.

پہاڑوں پر ٹرین کے سفر کی بارش کے موسم میں بہترین ویڈیو۔ ایبٹ آباد حویلیاں سے صرف 18 کلومیٹر کے فاصلے پر ہے۔ ہمارے کرپٹ لیڈروں، اشرافیہ نے ایبٹ آباد کی طرف صرف 18 کلومیٹر کا ٹریک نہیں بنایا۔ وہ کرپشن کرنے میں مصروف ہیں اور زندگی کا مزہ لیں۔ لوگ جہنم میں جائیں۔ایبٹ آباد کی آبادی 2 لاکھ ہے اور یہ پاکستان کا ایک خوبصورت پہاڑی علاقہ ہے۔ پاک ریلوے اگر ایبٹ آباد کو حویلیاں سے جوڑ دے تو بہت پیسہ کمائے گا .صرف 18 کلومیٹر ٹرین کا ٹریک بچھائیں

Noticed a vintage like train rake stabled in golra sharief station. Is that still in operation or museum stuff?? And i think the gauge of that track is not broad gauge.?? Meter gauge or narrow gauge probably??? And regarding loco chugging, to me the ALCO locomotives being operated by Indian railways is more music to ears. Nothing can beat ALCO chugging sound.

Lovely weather and sights. Reminded me of my childhood days when I travelled Lucknow to Kathgodam meter gauge and the countryside is similar in the foot hills of UP. If the route is electrified then MEMU trains are the best option. Hats off to you for the patience in covering the video. Love from India.

Well sir I have a question, you according to my knowledge HBU-20 stands for, Hitachi bombardier universal locomotive ( rated power output 2000hp), if that so it means that this locomotive uses bombardier prime mover, but it sounds exactly as alco 12 cylinder 251-c prime mover, so is it an Alco locomotive or bombardier locomotive??and if it's a bombardier locomotive then it would have a different ancestry than pha20 and hau 20 etc...

آپ نے بتایا 95 کلومیٹر ہے اور اس کا کرایہ 130 روپے ہے یہ ٹرین تو موٹر سائیکل سے بھی سستی پڑتی ہے اگر moter سائیکل میں ایک سائیڈ کا ہے فاصلہ کریں تو تین سو روپے کا پیٹرول لگ جائے گا . .
یہ مہر ایکپریس پہلے روہی کے نام سے چلتی تھی اسکے راولپنڈی پہنچنے کا منظر دیکھ کر مجھے یاد آ گیا کہ میں اپنے والدین کے ہمراہ سرگودھا سے روہی میں پنڈی پہنچے تھے اور پھر اس حویلیاں ریل کار میں بیٹھ کر ٹیکسلا گیۓ تھے بلکل انہیں اوقات میں ۔۔۔۔
عمر خیام گجرات سے جناب آپ کی ویڈیو دیکھ دیکھ کر اب میں جہاں بھی سفر کرتا ہوں اگر وہاں ٹرین جاتی ہو تو میں صرف ٹرین پر ہی سفر کرتا ہوں بس اور چھوٹی مسافر گاڑیوں میں سفر کرنے سے ایک تو طبیعت خراب ہو جاتی تھی انجن سے پیدا ہونے والی حرارت اور بدبودار گیس جس سے طبیعت ناساز ہو جاتی ہے مگر ٹرین میں اسی کوئی بات نہیں کیوں کہ ٹرین کا انجن آگے ہوتا ہے جس وجہ سے مسافروں کی سفری دلچسپی بڑھتی ہے اورخوش مزاج سفر بنتا ہے

Lovely weather and sights. Reminded me of my childhood days when I travelled Lucknow to Kathgodam meter gauge and the countryside is similar in the foot hills of UP. If the route is electrified then MEMU trains are the best option. Hats off to you for the patience in covering the video. Love from India.

Well sir I have a question, you according to my knowledge HBU-20 stands for, Hitachi bombardier universal locomotive ( rated power output 2000hp), if that so it means that this locomotive uses bombardier prime mover, but it sounds exactly as alco 12 cylinder 251-c prime mover, so is it an Alco locomotive or bombardier locomotive??and if it's a bombardier locomotive then it would have a different ancestry than pha20 and hau 20 etc...
Yeah it has Bombardier prime mover
And sound is quite similar to alco but not same
PHA sound is quite diff

عمر خیام گجرات سے جناب آپ کی ویڈیو دیکھ دیکھ کر اب میں جہاں بھی سفر کرتا ہوں اگر وہاں ٹرین جاتی ہو تو میں صرف ٹرین پر ہی سفر کرتا ہوں بس اور چھوٹی مسافر گاڑیوں میں سفر کرنے سے ایک تو طبیعت خراب ہو جاتی تھی انجن سے پیدا ہونے والی حرارت اور بدبودار گیس جس سے طبیعت ناساز ہو جاتی ہے مگر ٹرین میں اسی کوئی بات نہیں کیوں کہ ٹرین کا انجن آگے ہوتا ہے جس وجہ سے مسافروں کی سفری دلچسپی بڑھتی ہے اورخوش مزاج سفر بنتا ہے
