- Since the travel season has officially begins many tourists are planning to head towards North for their trips to the hill stations. Nowadays one of the most popular and hyped travel destination on social media is Hunza, where as Skardu is also another famous tourist city. But there are some real and true facts about these vacational destinations which mostly people don’t know. In this video i have presented a comparison on both of these travel destinations and gave my opinion on the basis of their accessibility, weather, scenic and natural beauty. If you are planning to visit any of these places in the coming month do watch this video for a complete guide.

This comparison video is purely on the basis of Hunza tour plan for general family tours and Nagar is included in Hunza tour plan it’s not about geograpby and district specifications.
Similarly Astore is a part of Skardu but is not included in tour plans so i didn’t mention Astore in the video.

Very nice and detailed comparison. However if you're looking for diversity and experirncing the most. I believe Skardu is pure heaven. From waterfalls to greenery to desert and villages and ofc the lakes there are beautiful.

Skardu (Baltistan ) is unmatched beauty but Gilgit territory has amenities , I m lucky to bring few unexplored lakes and valleys at my vlogs. I enjoyed esp in winter

Skardu is beautiful but there are some issues.
1. Gilgit to Skardu road is now black top and in good condition but last month there was huge land slide occur and road got closed for 15 days. Around 15-20 minutes travelling road patch is dangerous because of land sliding. that can happen due to high wind or slight rain or low intense earth quake. I just travel on that part and it was really scary.
2. Skardu city roads are compacted and in the season it is very difficult to drive inside skardu even in off season that roads are fully packed in evening time. Another issue associated with that is 80% hotels are situated on same crowded road.
Hunza and Skardu Views can't be compared. Both are totally different.
Hunza to gilgit you can find two roads. (Opposite to the mountains)
In sedan by road travel:
Gilgit to Hunza is 1.5 hours.
Skardu to Gilgit 4 hours.
Islamabad to Gilgit (Via chilas) 12 hours.
Islamabad to Gilgit (Via Babusar top) 10 hours.
dear.i feel that natural disasters are occur on every road of the world, and also know that gilgit Islamabad road is also dangerous for land sliding.i agree that the land sliding occur on hunza to gilgit road is less than gilgit to skardu road,but the road condition of gilgit to skardu and the inside skardu roads are in a good condition

I captured Blind lake in Winter season, Summer and Autumn seasons too. Trust me the fall season at Ghawari and Khaplu is more beautiful as compared to any other place in Pakistan
I visited Skardu on 18 july. Dkardu is beautiful but there are some issues there first of all weather that is too hot in morning and its cold at night. Secondly the electricity issue. Full night loadsheading. Views are awesome.

Harmosh valley is unexplored beautiful valley but off road.

I think there is a big problem of mobile and internet signals , hotels are extremely expensive and worst in skardu .these problems should be considered .if u have a relative then it's fine .

1: Local and traditional food variety is huge in Skardu I can name 10, 12 while Hunza has just 3, 4. You might not know about this.
2: Ppl in Skardu are more supportive and welcoming than there in Hunza

@@mishalsabir1152 I couldn't go, secondly this summer was much rainy that many people were in trouble during rains when they traveled to northern areas. To where exactly you wanna go ? Try to go on the end of August as rains ll be stopped and roads ll be clear totally In Sha Allah.

@@mishalsabir1152 Just wait and watch the weather conditions as well as road conditions bcz this time there were lot of rains and land sliding. Whenever you ppl plan Sakardu Tour , try to plan it of 7-8 days minimum so you dont be exhausted.

Very nice and honest comparison but in Skardu many places like Manthoka water fall, shangrila lake etc are man made not natural so every time I would prefer to go to Hunza because of Majestic Peaks like Rakaposhi, Diran, Ultar, Golden,and Of curse mesmerising Passu cones and valleys like Minapin, Miachar, villages like Khyber, Duikar,Shishkat, Gulmit , unmatched Attabad lake, sensational track to khunjarab and uncountable Glaciers time safe journey good hotels good food all in one full nature with life for family I would always prefer Hunza and Skardu is just one time go for me
So u r looking for natural beauty. Come visit Baltistan bro, you'll be shocked after witnessing the wilderness of District Shigar.
If u wanna explore GB, either with or without family..... Then Skardu must be the top priority on ur Bucket list.
Hunza is much more advertised only on media, nothing special.

Brother you should explore culture of baltistan,it is 2nd most ancient culture in Pakistan .and most of the food you are eating in hunza is modified balti food. Even baltit fort is constructed by balti people. You shud visit SHAHI DEWAN to explore balti n modified balti food.

Skarduites are by far the most polite ppl found anywhere. Gives them an edge on all else.
Sir, astore aik alag district hay. awam ko ziada nahi pata. chilam, burzal, minimerg domel and rainbow astore k hissay mein ati hain. bhai ne hunza and skardu ka camperison kiya hay.
I was discussing details by keeping in mind that its a family tour. In my opinion Chilum,Tarshing,Burzil,minimarg are tough family.

Deosai is part of Skardu Baltistan. The most beautiful place for tourists is Khamoosh Waterfall in district Kharmang Skardu region. So you may enjoy your trip with much fun
@@IJVlogs even though most of deosai area falls in skardu, but its very close to astore and i find it a totally different trip.. it should include Astore, sheosar, deosai plains till bara pani, rattu, minimarg, domel, rama etc

But brother you forget many places of SKARDU Valley like => Katpana desert, Kharfocho fort, Shoq valley, Buddah rock, Chunda Valley, Mesure rock Hussainabad Skardu, the 2nd Highest mountain in the world K-2 Shigar, Ghashabrum, Siachen Glacier, Trango Tower and many more places.
Also forget some Water falls like => Neali water fall Shigar, Hussainabad Water fall, Torgu water fall and many more.
In GILGIT BALTISTAN there is no place to defeat SKARDU. SKARDU is the Tourism Hub of PAKISTAN ♥
jaggah jaisi bhi ho wahan k logon sey pehchani jaati hai, no comparison between Hunza people and Skardu. Skardu Mai choriaan , don't ever go to Skardu. Bad experience.
Skurdu is the great Tourism Hub of State Jammu Kashmir , its not hub of Pakistan , where ever you see nice places you emerge them geographically into pakistan territory . shame on you people ... i am from Neelam & Mirpur Jammu Kashmir
