In this video, I'm talking about how to get started with ESP32 board both on your iOS and Windows system.
I have shown how to install boards package in Arduino IDE, I have also shown which driver is required for using ESP32 DevKit V1 board and I have also shown the solution of Timed out Error which occurs at the tine of programming ESP32.
In the end I have successfully uploaded one blink led sketch on my ESP32 board.

When I connect the esp2866 board to laptop. The laptop shows notting connected
When it connect Esp2866 to laptop and try to program .the software tells no board connected
Searched my parts drawer and found the exact ESP 32 board you have, (DO-IT-ESP32 DEV KIT V1)connected it, amd voila, no more error messages. Your two little tricks were also invaluable. I got the MELIFE 2 Pack ESP32 ESP-32S Development Board from amazon. This info worked with my board too. I selected the ESP32 Dev Module board. It is blinking like it has nothing better to do. Good job! Thanks!

Sir in pin description as per given in website there are total 36 pins, and the module that is suggested by you contains 38 pins how to know the information of rest 2 pins. I'm using same module but it has only 30 pins. Sir does number of pin matters and how I get correct information about my pin

I performed aal of these steps and can run several example programs in addition to Blink, however when running several other more complicated example programs I get an error saying trouble compiling to ESP32 Dev Board, or trouble compiling to DO-ESP32 Dev Kit V1 Board when other examples had no problem running using these board names. Do you know what causes this error or can you point me to a source that will describe what causes this error?

I used this method perfectly and was able to run many programs and projects. Thanks you. However, recently I tried to connect a board to a TFT SPI ILI9341 color display and the video showed connecting pin 17 to MISO. The DO-IT_ESP32-Dev Kit does not have a pin 17. I looked in my supply drawer and found a Geekworm Easy Kit ESP32 that is slightly longer than the Do-IT (20 pins vs 15 pins). I found it used a CH431 driver instead of the CP2102 Driver. I found the 341 driver on the internet, downloaded it, and installed it. Now my device manager shows two available com ports for the 2102 and two more for the 341. Great. But the IDE still greys out the port not allowing me to connect the new ESP module. Do you know how to make the IDE recognize the loaded drivers? You have been really helpful and I enjoy your approach. Long time sub, appreciate your clear comprehensive approach.
Issue resolved. Problem was USB to Micro cable was missing the two data wires which caused the grayout. Change to an older cable with all four wires and the com port was instantly visible again. Found solution on thingsconnected.io forum. This environment is amazingly sharing and a wonder to behold. Thanks to techiesms for being part of the support community.

Mine is a Wemos/lolin D1 mini. It was working fine for a few days and then suddenly, no idea why but perhaps after installing a library, I ran into this error. This board only has a reset button and press/hold combo's don't work. I do have some spare boards, but I'll brick these too rather soon as long as I still don't understand the cause and solution.

Instead of CP2102 driver
it is written on the back of my NodeMCU
1) Install CH340G driver.
2) Use 9600bps baud rate.
3) Connect to WiFi

i can upload code sucessfully but my node mcu can not respond on the code for example when i upload blink code in it , led cannot blink but code is successfully uploded

You must have installed python 2.7 for any other software or may be it was installed unknowingly along with any other software

I was not able to see the com port on my Mac , and when I used a windows pc , I found the board but faced a problem with the boot button thing so it did not work and It kept giving me the error time out waiting for packet header. anyone who can help with this?
