Definitely pick up the ping eye 2’s when you see them. I picked up an 11 piece iron set of the ping eye 2 red dot beryllium copper heads for $22 at goodwill and sold them for $475 on eBay in less than two weeks.
Hard for to tell from the video but those Lego sets looked factory sealed. Don't know if you know this but the Lego factory tape has the black line on it across the box seam.
The Ravensburger puzzles (next to the Stone Age game) do well for me locally. I have a lady who has me contact her first when I get them. Even the smaller piece puzzles. People like the good quality puzzles for the kids
Hey Matt! Thanks for pushing yourself out of your normal "Eco Thrift" thrifting comfort zone and going to other thrift stores around your area and beyond, I'm sure by now the profit margin has shown you it may be worth it. And don't worry about not getting a lot of videos on your "Flips Channel' do what you can handle but a tip you never asked for but I'll give it for your Flips channel why don't you only show viewer especially new resellers how to ship those expensive and odd shaped items and how to do so and get the shipping rate for cheap. Anyway keep them coming, Cheers
Hey Matt thanks for the great content as always keep it up you're a great teacher. I wanted to know more on golf clubs and you my friend always come through. Thank you for your hard work. We all appreciate it.
If you ever decide to donate something again find a store that will give you a discount coupon when you do. Goodwill does that and provides a slip with 20percent off an item for next purchase. Skim a little off your next purchase 👌🏻
That’s hilarious, I was literally packing up that exact Santa as I watched your video. Mine is used though so I got $24.99 + shipping for it, paid $2.99 and sold in a couple weeks. It was a quick, easy flip.
I just sold a set of 2-9 Ping Eye 2 Black Dot for 125 free ship at the beginning of the month and they sold fast. Should do well with those, they seem like popular clubs (I do not golf I just comped in the store and reached out to a reseller friend to confirm)
I usually factor in the cost of shipping and the amount of work the item would take. For the Olaf I would have had to blow it up and that takes time. Also the extra shipping has fees as well. @Kelsey Mcgovern
You gotta hit up the goodwill in Palo Alto Near Facebook! I went there this past summer and spent $90 and made over $600 from items I bought. They had new with tags Nike Sports bras for $5, luxury Leather planner brand new and even a limited edition coach bag. The store itself is very small, but the items they have are Quality vs quantity
@@PartTimePickers eco is a goldmine for you so that’s saying something lol. I’m liking the thrift store videos. I know they’re not as exciting as yardsales but keep it up.
Wow, I found that same Dancing Santa in a thrift store! He was used, and it sold in hours for $30, thankfully before the major USPS delays. I paid $2 for him. I also got a copyright hit for playing like 5 seconds of the song it plays too, lol!
@@PartTimePickers It wasn't really a strike, but a warning, and TH-cam telling me I can't monetize the video. I'm not at that point yet anyways, but it's still a bummer.
Great videos! You make it look easy.😁 I said look easy because it's not, there's alot of steps and just having a natural eye for things. You are such a professional. I also think listing it as soon as you get it is amazing! Do you ever do updates with the actual sales? Just curious. Well done with your channel!🙌😊❤
Nice find on the golf clubs. Not sure what your golf knowledge is like, but you may find it easier to sell the 2 and 3 iron separately to the rest of the iron set, as most people aren’t capable of using long irons, so use hybrids instead. Better players would love picking up the 2 and 3 iron though, as not many are made anymore. Oh, and a wedge is a pitching wedge with Ping. A big fan of your channel by the way.
Hi, whenever I make a sale I whistle your song around the house to the family! Do you ever run out of storage space? And do you have a listing backlog or are you on top of it? Those are some of my problems...lol
Matt, I purchased from Supplyhut because you said you purchased some items from them in the past. Recently I purchased some items from them and only received one item (they were all under the same tracking) I reached out to them for a refund and they sent me a partial refund, so now I'm short money and no items. Since the case is now closed per eBay,, I can't do anything but message them.. Just an FYI for any resellers browsing through the comments.
Yea, I checked their reviews and they have alot of negatives, but their prices were cheap so I tried them out. I'll stick to ebayshippingsupplies for now.
Hey how do you lock in search preferences on the eBay app. Sold used ... love your content and great find on the pings I played the black dot for a while
Thx again for a fun vid, just an FYI on the Ping irons always check the seriel number on the hozzle. Two reasons, those are the most faked clubs out there, you want to make sure the seriel number is precisely engraved, etc. Typically you can tell the fakes right away. Second you want to make sure the irons all have matching seriel numbers, if they don't the value is much less. You'll also want to make sure you note they are not Ping eye 2 +. The (plus) irons do NOT have the square grooves, the square grooves are much more sought after. I didn't notice if the little + logo was on there. Hopefully this helps, I've picked up so much info from you, always looking to share anything I may have that helps. Take care, stay safe out there.
🤷♀️ I had no idea I could search for used condition under sold. All the time I've wasted 🤦♀️ Thank you for my "You learn something new each day" lesson 💖
100/100 times plush over unopened puzzles. I’ll even take plush without tags over unopened puzzles. Certain plush sells very well very quickly. I’ll never buy puzzles again after selling the last one that took a year. Also plush typically can be bought for less even with tags attached bc people see a seran wrapped puzzle box and think it’s worth selling for a lot
Hey Matt, Like the content of your videos, you have a really nice outro song. However, i still think it is pretty predatory behavior to source from thrift stores, maybe mentality in US is different, but in Europe thrift stores are mostly for poor people who can't afford to buy good stuff in normal stores. By taking away these items, they have less chance for a better life. On the other hand, you are adding value to the circular economy so, im splitt in this matter. No problem at all to buy these items at garage sales for cheap since people want to get rid off their stuff. Kind regards Maxime (Belgium)
Matt you also missed Rilakkuma (Teddy Bear plush to the right of Pikachu) he is a very well sought after Sanrio character! Used plushes of him can get you anywhere between $15-$45 depending which exact one it is and condition. You already know about Hello Kitty lol
Come on...the individual clubs are worth $30/each .....KEEP THE BAG KEEP THE SET...YOU MUST LEARN ABOUT GOLF CLUBS....They come up EVERYWHERE.....Ship Fedex..start looking for boxes in dumpsters right away or u-line.....The stand alone bag is worth $30 if the zippers are good and the stand works.
Just a question, first of all I’m not a seller nor do I have a interest in most of the things you pick up but as you know more and more goodwills are going on line and raising prices do you for a moment think that you and other TH-cam sellers are killing the hand that feeds you? Pretty soon normal buyers like my self won’t be able to buy anything at goodwill. Anyway may the finger god disable you and your fellow buyers fingers and you will disappear from the tube!

Goodwill by us is usually way overpriced. I do find a couple of small things usually, but not my favorite place to thrift.

My wife and found an 9’ Olaf for $8 a couple weeks ago and sold it for $79.99 quick. Those are good.
