Yes I tried traning my dog to do big jumps and he was o good but he used his skills to do stuff you was not supposed to do and my dad said to stop teaching him to do it and I really miss training him.
The referee is simply top. Modest, faultless in content & sympathetic appearance! He even finds the time to applaud the dogs after the run. Where else do you find such experts? High world class. Top!
The Border Collie if one of Britain's the greatest gifts to the world. These wonderful, gifted trainers must spend many hours of enjoyment preparing their little champions to get them to this astonishing level of performance.
I don't think any of them ever really are running flat out. They are always only accelerating and never reaching top speed. I think it is almost a tease for them because they want to go all out, hence the barking.
I used to run my Siberian huskies in agility. And my boy always gave running commentary during his runs. 😂 One day I took my huskies to a friends farm, turned them loose and let them run. I clocked my females at over 30mph (using the top speed of the Kubota I was on, which she caught and passed). My talkative male was faster than my female. So yeah, he “talked” during agility runs. He was probably telling me to run faster, little punk. 😂
And I'm over here, laying on the sofa with my sleeping Dachshund on me watching crufts, knowing damn well that my dog would laugh me in the face if I ever tried to do that with him 💕😂
Ann-Kathrin Grandt I have a jack Russell mix and he’s quick but there’s no way he’d have the focus to do something like this I have him go over jumps cause he has fun with them and it’s a good way to keep him fit in the winter but I have to put a blanket over the jump so he doesn’t run under it😂
I’m over here in my BED with my sleeping DACHSHUND under the blankets! My dog would just go under the jumps or just run around!! I feel you! Also watching crufts!!
This was my life before grad school and kids. I miss it so much sometimes! There's nothing like the feeling of being in in the flow with your canine bestie. :-) This was a highly technical course and the competitors did amazingly well.
I'm feeling mixed emotions watching this video, one second I'm laughing so hard then the next thing I know I'm getting teary eyed. Such great creatures, and the relationship between these best friends are just amazing!
My dog is a golden doodle but I am a junior handler in California so I have not been able to find shows. I love crufts and these dogs are my inspiration as well as handlers!
Wow! These dogs are pretty bonkers. Imagine how amazing a well trained whippet would do- they're so fast, agile, and awesome with quick turns. It'd be pretty epic. My whippet loves agility but I think the only thing she has a problem with is the weave poles.
Yesss when I was gonna get a dog I was thinking on a border collie or whipet but instead got a rescue husky called Miska she is great and does agility and tricks with me.
@@charshepherd1384 yeah k.Smith u should try flyball or get a specail wire thing that goes round the weave poles that helps them go through it right idk the name of it tho sorry, or you should go to an agility class and ask the trainer for some help with the weaves if u have one near you.
I actually saw a video of a bassett hound doing an agility course once. Was definitely not the fastest dog, but he was able to do everything correctly.
Bassets are one of the most strong willed and energetic dogs you'll find, built to be hunters. Let that little ball of energy run wild and you'll see how amazing your dog can truly be
I’m so happy I’m getting my pup into an agility he is 12 week old already jumping 2 feet up? He is great at going under things, weaving, and best at jumping he is a quick runner with love for all we must put him in obedience first but I hope one day he will be there (:
My dog would LOVE doing this! She's so energetic and would do anything for a treat. I guess that's because she's a Beagle mixed with a Jack Russel lol. She's almost 7 and hasn't lost any of her puppy energy. But I'm not a handler at all, and she gets frustrated easily when she can't perfect something. Oh well.
I just love to see the dogs show that enthusiasm. It doesn't matter a BIT if they make a mistake or are slightly slower than another dog. They really should give the prizes to the dogs which look like they have the most fun!
Phoebe Vlogs My Lhasa can jump up more than twice her height- They can be pretty stubborn in training but they’re definitely capable of it. I think it’s a great plan. :)
Please could someone tell me what those bungee tugs with the fur on or with the kinda mop looking thing, that the handlers are playing with their dogs as a reward are called, I want one to help with recall
please tell me if the border collies are from working line or show line since some people say that show line is better for agility i am confused thanks
My next dog is going to be a collie cause I live an active life and my terrier can’t keep up and agility is something I want to do as well as fly ball and obedience so they aren’t bored
The dog from Shiny Pebble could maybe have won. The trainer was standing on the wrong side of the bar T_T can't blame the dog for that. Geek was amazing! Pinto was so cute! But Blink was super fast!

I think my favorite part is the dogs barking back at their owners as if to confirm a command and you can tell they are really having fun

I agree border collies are a gift to the world.
I always knew they were so special.
How can they bark when they’re running flat out! 😂😂🤣🤣
Because they're excited😀🐶🐕
I don't think any of them ever really are running flat out. They are always only accelerating and never reaching top speed. I think it is almost a tease for them because they want to go all out, hence the barking.
Probably another hidden/secret part of their anatomy like the pill flipper 😉
The doggos don't know their competing for time. They just do it for fun and think it's a game

Ann-Kathrin Grandt BB
the fact that they bark when they do it is so cute
The dogs barking always make me grin. You know they're enjoying it! 😁
My fav was Libby though. 12 years of age, she is just silent and quick. Damn.
These dogs are absolutely incredible!
15:52 was best moment. When dog didn't understand what just happened ,but after that he was super happy
They are all winners for me! :D
They’re good dogs bront!
They are ALL perfect!
This was my life before grad school and kids. I miss it so much sometimes! There's nothing like the feeling of being in in the flow with your canine bestie. :-) This was a highly technical course and the competitors did amazingly well.
If they used laser pointers and transparent tubes--- This could be a Cat Agility Contest.
My cat wouldn't even bother😂 she doesn't go for laser pointers
🤣🤣🤣I don't have a cat but that will be funny LOL
Cats would have humans in agility trials, we humans are their servants!!
@@Psychokitten113 The cat rides in the chariot whipping the humans pulling it.
@@funkyironman69 So true, every cat that has been part of my life, I have been their slave!!
Those were some incredible dogs and some amazing runs. Props to the trainers and the competitors.
Instead of big dog category it should be called border collie category
If you dislike seeing so many BCs, train a different breed and compete.
Gray Olsen it was just a comment mate calm yrself
I just love that the rescue's name on screen is Preloved Glendale Girl. That was precious.

Roxy and Betty I know!! I had so much high hopes for her
I guess she will be back next year hehe
I was looking forward to see her; I'm sure they'll be back next time. Luckily she still had fun, that's the main thing
I trained my dog to do agility at home!! We got him a backyard agility set for Christmas ❤❤
"They made it look easy" - no they didn't! That looks like very hard, athletic, and exhausting work!
I may be in the minority, but I dislike these announcers. Taking it too seriously, and also wanting in basic knowledge and etiquette.

They’re all good dogs!
Absolutely entertaining.

A pity they don't have the really big dogs. Just think of a great dane would it fit in the tunnel ?
haha, was waiting for that as well :D
Lol imagination can be real sometimes 😂
EMILIE GUILLON - Equitation too much agility is bad for Great Danes
Because agility breaks the joints. With big dogs, joint problems are very common so agility is very bad for them
EMILIE GUILLON - Equitation they have bigger tunnels
The tail wag during the seesaw landing makes my heart nearly explode with joy 😂
So enjoy watching this video😀thank u very much for aploading
Border collies are so good at this.
Border collies are good at everything. ;)
Poodles too.😏
funkyironman69 put a malinois and see what’s good at everything 🤣
Well they are widely considered the smartest dog breed and certainly one of the most (if not the most) athletic dogs.

Absolutely. The joy in those tongues and tails, the ears forward, head tracking their human... it's a partnership built out of love and you can tell.
