So, where did you go to eat while Brunswick? Great minds want to know. If we could have, we would have told you to try "Indigo Coastal Shanty," which isn't far from the marina. Great, great food there. Brunswick has been making a concerted effort to revitalize its downtown, led by a group of young entrepreneurs, and several excellent restaurants have opened on Newcastle Street, such as Reid's Apothecary and 1509. Hope you can make it back sometime. That shrimp boat you passed on the way out is a vital part of the Brunswick economy, as the Georgia wild caught shrimp is some of the best in the world. The waters just off the coast of Brunswick and Saint Simons is a major breeding ground for Great White, Hammerhead, and Bull sharks . . . so don't fall overboard. 😂
We ate (and drank) a LOT at Reid’s Apothecary! Thai basil, the brewery with the food trucks, and even the guys that sell hot dogs in the parking lot of the gas station by the marina… all delicious! 😂 We loved our time in Brunswick. A few people recommended Indigo to us but it was closed when we were there. I wouldn’t touch the waters around there with my toe… saw a few alligators around the marina😳
Thanks for another lovely sail on Sabado. I am not sure how it could have been more idyllic. More edible fish maybe? Thanks again. Keep sailing and stay safe.⛵😎
@@HollyandRay That may be true, but I suspect a lot of boaters would have wished for less wind while traversing Cape Hatteras. That is an uneventful passage to be grateful for!👍🌊
Hi new sub here, love your videos! the tuna you caught was a blackfin tuna for obvious reasons of it's color. Some folks like them, me not so much, I usually cut them up for bait and then get a wahoo, King mackerel , or better yet, a yellowfin tuna which is great eating,, but you really want a rod fighting those fish. Good luck, look forward to your next vid. I'm down in Jacksonville, FL.
Hi, Mike! Thanks for the fish info! Once we got internet connection again we looked it up and thought it might’ve been a Bonito because of that little pattern on its side…? Hard to tell, but we prefer yellowfin too so maybe we’ll have better luck next time!🤞🏼🐟 Hope you’re staying cool down in Jacksonville! ☀️
That was a Bonita or Little Tunny. You can see the unique pattern along the back making it very easy to identify. Also known as a false Albacore. They are okay to eat, but you don’t want to freeze them as the meat gets a little mushy. They get a bad rap, but are not bad eating. Many folks use the belly meat for bait. Personally, I catch so many of these I prefer to be picky and hold out for the Mahi and Blackfin Tuna so I toss them back.
Questions……I’m binge watching you guys….did your husband (I’m assuming) have the boat prior to meeting you or no? How did you guys meet? You guys are just likable….
Beautiful, I can't believe all of those birds! Sabado and her crew are looking so good!
Right?!🪶 Thanks, we miss you!
Well it was so nice to see another one of your videos. Always fun and exciting. We hope to see you back our way someday

More edible fish and maybe some stronger wind to keep us cool + moving along I’d say😂 Either way, we had a blast!! Thanks for watching, John. :)

Well hello! Yes, Ray had the boat for two years before we met- we met when I got into sailing in 2020, his best friend was my sailing instructor!
