Can you talk about expected symptoms years after the injury…like 35 years later.

    Hi
My doctor didn’t specify but my inner ligaments but the outer doesn’t hurt and I can fully strength my leg but I can’t bend it comfortably
He said I’ll be fine if I don’t do anything in 6 weeks but I’m so anxious

Hi Khalid! I'm an actor in the West End with a dodgy knee (3 ACL reconstructions...) and wondered if you could do a video on how well braces support weak ACLs? Donjoy/Medi etc. I wore 1 for a year when touring, and may have to go back to wearing it as having some pain at the moment. Not a physio, but find your videos super informative! Thanks, Andy Carter

Just got a new patient, both ACL and medial meniscus. Undiagnosed for 9 weeks post incident!

I’ve just had an op for both at the same time yesterday. Oh the pain this morning 😢

How are you doing now ??can you walk now?can you extend your leg fully?what kind of meniscus tear did you have?and what kind of acl tear?

I’m doing well thanks. I can now fully extended my leg. Maybe not the full backwards flex (if that makes sense). I can now bend the leg past 90 degrees and attending biweekly physiotherapy.
Good question on which ones in specific. I just got told it was ACL reconstruction and resitting the meniscus.

I'm currently walking with a limp as it hurts to fully extend leg .. it feels something is preventing it from extending it .. just hoping after surgery I can walk normal again.. sure does sucks walking this way

Four weeks post op today, acl reconstruction and complex tear of meniscus... longer rehand than if it was just one or the other

I was doing heavy leg extensions and I felt like my knee slipped…. And when I walk it feels like my upper leg will slide off my shin… no-pain or swelling just feels a bit sketchy…do you no what it could be??

    • @ClinicalPhysio

It’s absolutely possible for many people with physiotherapy! Please consult a physiotherapist for professional and individual advice
