Best one yet guys! How nice that you got that campsite to yourselves and got to enjoy all the sites to yourselves! How amazing! Enjoyed all the music selections too.

I liked your video. Thanks for talking about where to get information for Canyon of the Ancients. We're staying near Dolores soon and that was great info to have.

Hovenweep is my 2nd favorite place, ever. Besides the towers and Castles, there is a small alcove beneath one of the ruins where you can see where children left colored handprints on the walls. 1000 yrs ago. (Or less, maybe they were visiting this older sight also.)

Wow, we missed that. But yes Hovenweep is a pretty special place. We did not plan on staying the night there but we are so glad that we did. We also hope to return to the area again soon and do even deeper exploring. Thanks for watching and leaving such a great comment!

    Fantastic video review.
We're going there in October. How long would you recommend for each site?

That is tough to answer. It really depends on how into the sites are. Many people seem to only spend a minute or two but we like to explore and take our time. It is worth starting at the visitor center if you can. (www.blm.gov/learn/interpretive-centers/CANM-visitor-center-museum) The information and the rangers there are very helpful in planning. Thanks for watching and enjoy your trip!
