Vishnu K N I meant he doesn’t get his dues from critics/media compared to say someone like Sonu Nigam (I like Sonu Nigam btw). Shankar as a music director and singer is a huge talent that many people I think do not realize.
Not underrated Sir, nobody can under rate him say less recognised. We should not compare him with anybody. Sonu Nigam,s time came and gone. Now Arjit Sings time. Infact, Shankarji is a legendary singer, he is trained in both Karnatic and Hindusthani Sastriya Sangeeth, highly knowlegeable singer, not an imitator. Who can reach to the level of Hariharanji and Shankarji, they are masters in Sastriya Sangeeth. They have their own place in the music field.
