age 50 here. Saw them at age ten supporting The Top record at an all ages show with my older sister. I've seen hundreds of shows and played about as many and this band is still the only one that I will watch start to finish mesmerized. When I was a teen my brain spoke in Robert Smith voice. 🖤

Fantastic! The show was incredible, the sound was loud and flawless, and apart from some video loss at the end, the sound was never affected. A million “thank you’s” for posting this. I saw the US version of the Swing Tour July 27th, 1996 in Denver. I remember they closed that show with Faith and A Forest and I bawled for 30 minutes or so!!
A friend of mine tried 2 skip out on work 2 take his girlfriend to see them this tour & got caught so he asked me if I'd go with her in his place. I was into Hardcore, & couldnt stand The Cure I'd seen on MTV, but she didn't have anybody else 2 go with, so I reluctantly went. I thought wtf have I got myself into? & they proceeded 2 kick my ass!!! I'll never get over it!🤣🤣🤣 It was fantastic! 👏 👏 👏 ✌ ❤ 🚬

This is a fantastic sounding recording - like the shaken tambourine on Lullaby which is so clear - you can really hear the arrangements that the band have put together. Thanks for the upload.

The guital solo buildup in disintegration makes this perhaps the best version ever (song starts 1.48.02, Robert's solo begins 1.54.23, it is somewhat burried in the mix though)

Porl T.'s playing on 'bout all of it. That&' 4:13 Dream' r about the last 2 things know of with him on lead. Just looked @ this huge posterboard of that last?studio album cover- it's cool. Had feelin' as started though,& saw a guitarist to Robert's right& keyboard man Roger to his left that Porl wasn't doing lead guitar this show,this time period. Don't get me wrong ,this guy's great,& with Robert's guitar work also,well . It's funny though, as Uber fan for several decades, you know one kinda gets a fav.band line up. Even though don't believe Porl's played with 'em 4,yr.s,& Macdaddy Reeves Gabrels has been on lead since 2012,either one those 5 player lineups enjoy the most. Hope Porl's alright now. Can u believe the worldwide, long tour they did last yr.? We're lookin' forward to the new lp.; hopefully later this year.thanx again, M . .
I'm totally with you - Porl is my favorite Cure guitarist, and this was 1996, so not part of the lineup. But I really love this particular era of touring. It seemed like with Porl in the band, Robert took more of a backseat with guitar playing, and after Porl's departure Robert stepped up his own playing. (This is my favorite version of Disintegration and that's saying something!) Just my own guess/observation!
