    M1 is greater than M2....right.. then how the blovk M1 moves towards right side when it is released from equilibrium... My doubt is that the system will remain in rest

    Sir i have doubt ,how the 5 kg of body pull the 10kg of body under gravity effect consideration such that system can accelerate even there is friction also in b/w 10kg body and resting surface ??

    Sir when I solve this kind of problems I always have a doubt that how to take the direction of Tension in the cable. Is it i want to take towards the object or away from the object? could you please explain me how to take the direction of tension acting in the cable? Because in few problem we have taken towards the object and in few its away like this problem.

      Aceleration and resultant force have both the same direction if you known direction of resultant force then you know direction of acceleration too
