Ukraine's current govt is still a coup govt, because it is the result of an election held under the previous coup govt, which appointed nazis to many positions in the state structure, esoecially the military, the police and the secret police, and banned the 2 most popular political parties ("the Communist Party of Ukraine" and the Partyy of Regions") and most popular media of people in eastern Ukraine. As long as Ukraine's state structures are under control of nazis and as long as they don't allow those political parties and media outlets that popular in eastern Ukraine, then Ukraine cannot have free and fair elections and so is not a democracy, but is still under control of the people who made the coup in 2014.
Boy this is a 1st. A Pro-Nazi Syrian/Palestinian Jew-Hating Anti-Semite Israel extermination enthusiast (Rania Khalek) talking about Ukrainian Nazis. Last I checked Rania wants to exterminate the few Holocaust survivors & their children/grandchildren the very who are the victims of those very Ukrainian & German Nazis.
What's Rania's position on the countless German NAZI War Criminals living in Syria under the government's protection to this day? One wonders.............................
I didn't know the situation was so horrible in Eastern Ukraine long before the war began in February. The MSM are unanimous in not talking about it. Amazing!

Yea I never even heard of it either till 2 weeks ago. Was shocked to learn that about 14k ppl had died already in eastern Ukraine. Kinda crazy to think about because those are the amount of deaths you'd expect in a war. A war which we have never heard of till now. Complete and utter dereliction of duty by the MSM to provide fair coverage.
WHO is this wonderful man??? WHY is the interviewer so well informed and asks such good questions? Omg how come I never heard of you before? This is the best dive into inter-Ukrainian politics I've seen in the western media ever. Everybody is expert on Russia today, but a real expert on Ukraine is a god unit.
good to see that more and more such shows and podcasts appear on YT. shows that people are fed up with mainstream BS and want to know real deal behind this war.
Patrick Lancaster is an American journalist in eastern Ukraine who has been offering very useful information for understanding and discovering that for many people the bombs and terror of war has been happening for 8 years.
Those people are being taken advantage of by certain powers and institutions. They’re brainwashed into an ideology carefully created and crafted by US neocons of Military Industrial Complex with the Wall Street money. The oligarch who invented and invested into Zelensky is a Jewish just like Zelensky himself and they all have connections to Israel even though Israel doesn’t seem on the stage openly. Biggest supporters of this war, Britain and US, are well known with their Zionist connections and known by many vessels of it.
20 000 civilians killed by Russian shelling in Mariupol in 3 months. While 8 years of mutual shelling took about 3000 civilians. Ask Prigozhin who took direct participation there. He officially admitted that the reason of invasion was sucked from a finger.
@@GwynBleys't say anything about Shariy's interviews, but he once posted a review of an article published by the Foreign Affairs magazine on the topic of Crimea joining the Russian Federation. That was either an attempt at shameless grifting, very disingenuous propaganda, publicity stunt, or just horribly misinformed opinion, because he didn't even bother to read the article in its original language of English. Instead he found a very low-quality and very inaccurate Russian translation possibly made by Google translate or maybe even people who deliberately tried to depict all the US media -- and, mind you, the Foreign Affairs magazine has been reputed as a very reliable source on all matters international and political -- as nothing more than blatant liars. Russians have an expression for that: сам придумал, сам обиделся. He'd certainly have a much better case had he chosen CNN, WaPo, MSNBC or Fox as his target. But making up evidence just to spur on Americanophobia was lazy and disingenuous and only worked to invalidate the point he tried to make.
To say that Russia should have just waited ignores the fact that this would have given the Ukrainians and NATO time to develop bioweapons, nuclear weapons, to further militarize, to further develop and spread Nazi ideology and Russophobia, and to further terrorize and kill ethnic Russians in East Ukraine, which they had been doing for 8 years. In this context, to say that Russia's actions are comparable to the U.S. invasion of Iraq, for which there was NO evidence of an imminent threat, is ridiculous.
Not to mention that Ukraine is Russia's neighbor and their militarization poses an immediate threat to their defense whereas Iraq is on the opposite side of the planet from the USA.
And they DID wait eight years. Russia, if really evil or brutal, would have acted 2014 BEFORE the coup - and many times after that, there were enough reasons given. Seven years of Minks, that was Feb 15th, 2015. SEVEN YEARS. Even UN ordered Kiev to follow it, but just like Israel and kind of everyone else, no one cares what UN says. Minsk 2 was always the clear path to freedom. Instead Kiev wanted more weapons to solve their problem with mass murderous violence. What do peopel think was the plan of Kiev? Why could Russia trap ~40k soldiers in front of Donbass? Have peopel seen the videos from there? Burned out villages in which the Ukrainians hide, anti person mines everywhere, partly made in the USA. By the way illegal mines, anti person mines are forbidden, because they are a gigantic threat for civilians. Russia and Donbass people work night and day to get rid of thousands of these things, partly even traps like anti tank mine combined with an anti person mine as trap below it.
The media, including all social media, should have been giving the same kind of breathless, edge-of-your-seat coverage to the awful situation in Ukraine beginning in 2014 as they have since Russia responded to that situation in February of this year.
Yes, quite. And showed no interest in who sniped the protesters, the action that clinched it. Still don’t. Never embedded themselves with Russian speakers in the Donbass the way they do with Ukrainian forces in the West.
Very informative. A couple of things that I would like to argue are: "Russia thought they could take Ukraine in 3 days" who said that? Is that a direct quote from a Russian general or politician or is an opinion coming from the idea that Russia can only do war like the west? I have heard the opinions of Scott Ritter and how he also thought Russia was going to do a different tactic but choose instead of a tactical approach of surrounding an area to cut it off, let people out and focus on the batallions which is slower but avoids unnecessary damage.
Russia could wipe out the ukraine very quick with the full force however Russia never prepared such a force for this attack, every western military expert said that attacker in a war need a ratio of forces at least 3:1 in their favor to achieve the goal. In a current Ukrainian case it is opposite Ukrainian military have 300.000 regular forces + reservists, Russia on the other hand used about 180.000 mens, which clearly show that Russia never intended to conquer Ukraine or even a capital city Kiev, instead they were focused, as they said before the war started, on east and south part of ukraine where native russians are majority where Kyiv regime since 2014 did alot of atrocities. Hovewer I cant exluded that Russia will change its mind in the future in that case they will probobaly use US tatctic namely the shock and awe as the US did in Irak, destroying infrastructure first, masive shelling, only then troops move in to the area, none of what russia did up today.
On February 24,Putin said Russia was gonna liberate the people of Donbass,de-militarize,and de-nazify Ukraine,he did not say he was gonna take the whole of Ukraine
I Know Thats The US MSM Pushin The 3 Day War BS RUSSIA COULD EASLIY RAISE UKRAINE To The Ground If They Really Wanted But They Dont & That Also Should Answer US MSM Why They HAVNT? Because They Dont Want To Kill Civillians At All Just The MILITARY INFRASTRUCSURE & ELEMENTS Of UKRAINE Goverment & Army
01:07:20; the circumstances in the case of Ukraine were in several areas quite different than Iraq: 1) Ethnic russians actually was repressed and their protests met with violence 2) Ukraine is a neighbouring state to to Russia and on its way into a hostile military alliance (and a hostile trade union) 3) There was a coup in Kiev, committed by neoliberals and far right forces in lock step with the head of a hostile military alliance. Look at the neocon consensus in the US; look at the RAND- and Brookings Institute's vision of a balkanised Russia.
Thank you for the discussion and asking the important questions, Rania. Finally someone sane speaking. Pleasant and funny too considering how dark the topic is (he reminds me of Stanford Blatch!). It's a complex situation and we're starved for nuanced discussion. I myself have been wondering about these far-right groups in Ukraine that I watched and read so much about in Western mainstream media which suddenly disappeared after the invasion. I don't ever agree with whitewashing anything.
hi. gues what - Ukrainians deny any existnce of the Far Right in their country...their media brain washed them... No terror in the East... They are victims of "fanatic Putin".
I really disagree with the notion that Russia isn’t “denazifying” Ukraine or that was a poor pretext for war or military intervention. How far does the Nazism/far right movements within have to go and metastasize within Ukraine in order to become a national security threat on their border? Not only that but they were planning another offensive in March on the Donbas. For it to be a far right breeding and training ground for fascists years was enough. The Congressional action to stop supplying Azov was for optics or a poor attempt at stopping what some representatives finally realized was going on within Ukraine, and that was prior to the Democratic control of Congress in which this resolution was passed. C14 leader admitted the West supplied them for the Euromaidan attacks and riots. The West utilizes the most jingoistic, reactionary, far right elements in every society to enact regime change or to cause domestic issues for their geopolitical enemies. Now we have European ISIS that will only continue to spread across Europe as the West continues to fuel reactionary elements in their societies. This will have a massive blow back. Russia may have some propaganda efforts that are half truths, but to suggest this was a complete lie is an absolutely ridiculous position to hold considering all that has transpired and provenly so. One side continues to lie very overtly and the other side may have some half truths, but ends up being more or less on the right side of the rhetoric they have used within this conflict. The goal of the West is balkanization of Russia, China, and any country that threatens to emerge as a threat to US military and corporate interests, this is their doctrine. You cannot take the bits and pieces of each problematic issue that arise globally to support a narrative that it isn’t this plainly evil. It is all interconnected and serves its role for global Empire.
Bucha is BS The New Atlas, Brian Berletic, former usa marine Why Ukraine's "Bucha Massacre" Story Isn't Adding Up Video Appears to Show Ukrainians Killing POWs in Same Fashion as Kiev Victims Western Media Confirms Ukrainian War Crimes
If they were planning an offensive in March in dombass then putin was correct to invade, for me that is case closed as to the reason why, but of course you won’t hear this on the mainstream media
Right, it's easy to see how Russia was right or wrong by thinking what USA would have done if Mexico says we would build a nuclear program to defend us against United States.
A truthful, intelligent conversation stating the facts, as they are. Thank you for your contribution to truthful news, not towing the 'accepted' version of the western MSN!
Aft WW ll, US &!England helped Stepsj Bandera to escape to & hide in W Germany to lead Ukranian far r 35:50 rigatoni right rebellion in 1950s. til USSR found & poisoned him in 1959.
Ukraine had become a de facto NATO state, and Zelenskyy also signaled that he may renege from the Bucharest memorandum 0f 1994 and seek to manufacture nuclear weapons.
I enjoyed the program. I do disagree re Putin not invading. I don't think you give America enough blame for all of this. America had an agenda long ago and this is simply a continuation of that agenda. To me, significant forces in the US never left the cold war behind. I live in the US and, for decades, have watched the hate Russia rhetoric everywhere. In the long run, the US may well pay a very heavy price. US behavior drove Russia to the final step of China. The dollar may well be on the final step of reserve currency loss which will devastate the US economy and we deserve it.
@Tarik Cyril Amar If the US/Nato kept its promise and didnt expand Nato and its millitary machine to the East directly affecting Russia's national security, and if the US didnt organise a regime change or coup in 2014 with the help of neo-nazis, which then started killing separatist russians in Donbas for 8 years, killing 14000 russians, and if zelinski would have implemented the Minsk agreement and made his country NEUTRAL, instead of anti-russia and anti-russians, then Russia would have not started this millitary operation in Ukraine in order to denazify and demilitarize ukraine. What is Russia's blame here ? It is almost entirely the US's fault because its expansionist and illegal actions in ukraine led to this war, which was predicted even by american proffesors like John Mersheimer or Noam Chomsky from almost a decade ago.
@Tarik Cyril Amar You have to understand that this war basically started in 2014 when the US organised a regime change/coup to overthrow the ellected president and legitimate government and install a puppet pro-nato government, that is an anti-russian government, which was also a far right neo-nazi government, which started opressing and literally killing russians or pro-russians in east Ukraine for 8 years, and Russia has tolerated for 8 years the genocide in Donbas but it had enough of these nazis and obviously couldnt allow a Nazified Ukraine join Nato because then all Russia would be in danger so Putin had no other choice than prevent that to happen. How ? By organising a millitary operation of denazifing and demilitarising Ukraine.
@Tarik Cyril Amar In 1999 the US launched a war on former Yugoslavia and bombed Belgrad and other cities for several months killing thousands of civillians, because they wanted to 'liberate' Kosovo and stop the 'genocide' of a certain ethnic group, albanians, which was allegedly mass-murdered by serbian authorities. The genocide consisted of 14000 albanians, so NOT americans, just like in Donbas where 14000 russians were killed by ukrainian authorities. The US then thought it had the moral obligation to start a war with the serbs and bomb the whole place to liberate the kosovars from the opressive regime of Slobodan Miloshevik. Now why cant Putin do the same thing in Ukraine for liberating the pro russian regions and protect his OWN russian ethnics, and liberate them from the opressive neo-nazi regime who has been bombing them for the last 8 years since they illegally seized power in the maidan coup fully backed by the US ?
@Tarik Cyril Amar Yes Americas relentless, bloodthirsty "our way or the highway" world approach is the start to ALL global problems. including this war. Nuland even openly discussed puting in a US government with her famous "f-ck the EU phone call. I think it was Kissinger who said "if you want to weaken Russia, get them to fight with Ukraine"
I know this is already a year old, but it continues to be what it is and brings news with color and satisfaction, from then until now, which is to be praised and valuable, and deserves congratulations for the continued joy in good disposition to transmit information. For this reason; I would like to say that I like this program and I love the smile of the speaker because in addition to being captivating, it is sui generis and makes the subject that in itself is already very dark and morbid due to its warlike, sad and tragic effect characteristics, manages to alleviate the theme and soften the speech which makes this channel, and despite its dramatic motto manages to color the panorama with something so simple with its light, fresh and friendly presence, which despite seeming little makes the program truly rewarding and appeasing which makes us Today's Day is Rare creates several points in favor of the broadcast and certainly makes for a happier and more cheerful audience, which is something rare these days. For this reason, our gratitude and satisfaction, in addition to informing, illuminates our daily lives. Thank you very much for being the way you are!
Regarding Russia's need to respond militarily I would point out that Putin informed the listening world that as NATO has moved closer to Russia with its nuclear capable missiles, Russia had only 7 minutes to respond to these missiles. if the missiles were located in Ukraine that would leave no time for Russia to defend itself. In fact this would be the end of Russia. Any responsible leader in any country not acting in this situation would betray and worse leave Russia to the same fate as Yugoslavia. Furthermore, such short time frames to identify if an unnidentified oncoming object is a nuclear weapon, really increases the likelihood of a life ending mistake. By the way Ukraine is controlled by the USA and this scheme to draw Russia into conflict was designed by the USA and, documentation released by Aaron Mat'e shows that the heroic war leader of Ukraine supported a war rather than agreeing to be a neutral country without nuclear weapons. War was his choice when he thought the NATO gang would help him fight Russia.
There is also very good interview with ex NATO officer who was involved in Ukraine issue between 2014-2017. He also confirmed that it was widely known in Pentagon that Ukraine was planning to strike on Donbas and Crimea begin March. So basically what Russia did: they prevented a mass murder on these territories. You can find that interview on The Grayzone US,UK scarifying Ukraine to weaken Russia..
Russia needed a phrase to describe it. It's not perfect, but it communicates the essentials. These Ultra right volk have made their way into dominant positions in the military, the police, the intelligence services, the political parties... ...they have a veto over policy, and a prediliction for racialist genocide and Hitler worship. I'd say De-Nazification is a little white lie at most.
Especially when you got: a) a rising Nazi army, continuing their slaughter. b) VERY fishy Biolabs. c) president starting to talk about nuclear weapon programs. d) clearly the preparation to finish the cleansing in the east. And who knows what more.
@Tarik Cyril Amar Do you think that the prospects of the Minsk Agreement being implemented were becoming better or worse over time? I would argue worse, Ukraine as a country was showing less of an ability or will to do so
I think Putin could have done some other type of political maneuvering. But yeah he waited for almost a decade. He even took his case in front of the UN to a bunch of people that just ignored him.
@@flashcloud666 Perhaps he would have, I do agree that there's many arguments of what could have done but many of those are uninformed. This war has proven the little knowledge that professionals had so obviously the people like us has even less information about what is really going on away from our tiny screens.
I am glad to have this podcast available. This chanel produces true investgative journalism in action. Searching out knowledgable scholars such as Tarik Cyril demonstrates laudable discrimination in journalistic investigation. Thank you
Not US government, as they are not representing the peoples. Serf management and representing interests of themselves and theirs. All banana wars, not for democracy, freedom and the people. They do business with whom ever gives them "theirs". Good or bad, only enemies if they dare not to give them "theirs". Always the same salespitches. Always the same motives behind it they do not mention. But anyone with this insight, can see it always is banana wars.
How is that relevant to the ukriane war? The far right element in ukriane is so small that it's nearly irrelevant. Are you calling those willing to defend their country in ukriane extremists? Indeed as kissinger said, America has no friends, it only has interests. But that is just a geopolitical truism.
52:14 - “....they play a very important role in the sense that they've radicalized the protests, and the protesters side the regime goes violent....” That is not something a group like the Azov Battalion would know how to do without very sophisticated training. Turning a peaceful protest that violent takes a lot of technique that people just don't pick up off the street. Plus it sounds very similar to what happened in Syria, and other places where color revolutions have taken place, with CIA influence. You can hear me now, or you will believe me later.
I would’ve liked to hear how he might respond to the question, what do you think the u.s. and the west’s intentions were in Ukraine? Since the west’s heavy involvement in Ukraine, the status of Ukraine politically and economically has been chaos, along with a civil war, rise of far right, and massive increase in the level of violence by both militias and state agencies, and now an invasion. Pelosi and schiff were just in Ukraine demanding Ukraine fight until the end. The most powerful country demanding they can’t pursue peace because they’re fighting for us. Sickening. If every country had such a policy of no negotiations with countries in conflict, the world would be in universal forever war. It’s unrealistic and promotes war. As Ukraine is destroyed, and Russia’s gains become impossible to hide in the west, what will be the response of our war thirsty “leaders”? We should be prepared to hear calls for intervention. Just a side thought… people scrutinize Russia’s involvement in the separatist regions, as if Putin is the reason for the conflict. That ignores the role of the U.S. in the conflict. Who was first to get involved specifically with military support, I don’t know, but is it reasonable to expect Russia to watch this violence happen to Russians, on Russia’s border, and do nothing? If this was happening to Americans, say as citizens of Canada, we would absolutely get involved.
It is happening to Americans. Mexican drug cartels kill tens of thousands of Americans each year with their drugs, crime, and human trafficking yet most Americans are not overly concerned.
What was Senator John McCain doing in Ukrainian in 2014 talking to the antigovernment protesters?? In Russia, Putin has a 80% support. This war is about the mineral resources in Russia and the Artice. Standard for the West.
Exactly right because the people living in eastern Ukraine were/ are Ukrainians, but they spoke Russian and they were ethnic Russians as well. They did not want to be separatist until the Ukrainian Fascist and extreme right started bombing their cities after Russia annex Crimea. These people couldn’t understand why their own government was the bombing them and killing innocent people and at the time several years ago, they didn’t want to be part of Ukraine, or Russia, and they seem to be in ethnic fight that the Russian speaking people in Ukraine didn’t start. The Zelensky regime, and the president prior to Zelinski were the ones that enabled this.
For those who still don't understand: when Sashko Bely appeared in western Ukraine in February, they began to plunder guns and the crowd shouted "moskalyak to gillyak", you said, this is chaos, but "there is no fascism in the country" when on March 14th, young boys Zhudov and Sharov were shot from the windows of the nationalist "Prosvita" on Rymarskaya in Kharkov, you said that this was politics - "there is no fascism in the country" when in April of the same year the Jaguar unit stuck its nose into the ground more seventy anti-Maidanists, and after all of them they were put in prisons and pre-trial detention centers for many months and years, you said - it will be calmer in the city - "there is no fascism in the country" when on May 2 more than 50 Odessans were burned alive in the Trade Unions building, you said - you still need to figure out who was there - "there is no fascism in the country" when on May 9, 2014, unarmed civilians were shot from tanks and armored personnel carriers in Mariupol, you said that these are all fakes - "there is no fascism in the country" no fascism" when they started bombing the Donbass, you said - but we are still alive - "there is no fascism in the country" when the first night torchlight processions began, when in September, under the general screeching and rage in Kharkov, the largest monument to Lenin was toppled, when the ultras issued indulgences for lawlessness, and the ATO was introduced in the country, you said - if only there was no war, - but "in there is no fascism in the country" when during the whole subsequent year they were pressed, imprisoned, tortured everyone objectionable, you said - you were warned and no one asked you - but "there is no fascism in the country" when the facts of countless war crimes of the national battalions "Azov", "Donbass", "Aidar", "Tornado" and others against civilians of Donbass, violence, torture, murders, robberies were revealed, when dozens of common graves of tortured and shot civilians were opened, when opened the Alley of Angels in Donetsk, you didn’t say anything, but kept silent - “there is no fascism in the country” when Donbass began to be rescued and liberated, you shuddered and were surprised - but “there is no fascism in the country” when the first windows in Kharkov fell down from explosions, you panicked - what are you doing, it’s impossible - we definitely have “no fascism” in Kharkov when houses and infrastructure began to collapse from shells and missiles, civilian casualties appeared, you got scared, "saw the light" and began to yell - why us? We do not want such a release! We do not need such a "Russian world"! The Nazis attacked us! when they convincingly explained and showed you that the Russians shoot only at military facilities and places of accumulation of the National Battalions and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, that the National Battalions and the Armed Forces of Ukraine hide their military equipment in the sleeping areas between residential buildings, that the sights are aimed at the high-rise buildings of Saltovka from the same Tyurenka, and at KhTZ sleeping bags flies in from Shishkovka that the national battalions are located in schools and residential apartments and fire from there, that ... you closed your eyes and ears to hide your fear and kept saying - you are all lying, these are all your Russians - fascists. when in all cities they began to tie people to poles without trial and mock them, when the inhabitants of Mariupol "Azov" began to hide behind, like a human shield, when the scumbag Azovets calls the mother of a murdered Russian soldier and laughs at her via video link and tells her in detail how he killed her son, when the scumbags of Chile and Nemichev in Kharkov shoot the legs of Russian captured soldiers and finish off the wounded to death, when in the basement of a residential building in Mariupol, where "Azov" equipped his shelter, they find the mutilated body of a young girl, without arms, with a swastika carved on her stomach, when a Russian prisoner of war is cut off his fingers and burned alive, when a Vinnytsia non-human from the teroborony publicly tortures and kills a person in the eye with a knife, when............... You don't have enough evidence even now. You still do not understand what Russia came to save from. Your questions "and us for what?" and why?" and hung in your own "we did not ask us to release!" and "we do not need such a Russian world." So know that you, who "have no fascism in the country" - now they are not liberating you, ... but from you !!!
Maybe you didn't notice that some of them have switched words. When the evidence was shown and now they say "Yah~yah, they're Nazis, but that's a necessary evil, you know. The lesser of two evils."
Yeah, I don't agree with what he said about Russia's options. He gave lots of agency to Ukraine, clearly indicating they were very savvy. Yet, he gave Russia two options, one being to allow NATO to knock on its doorstep. No, no... just no. The U.S. was provoking it all and if the Europeans couldn't hear Putin's words, that's their problem. I don't understand this thinking.
I agree with most of your analysis - BUT !!! - I watched all this from a different spot on planet earth. By my analysis, Russia had no alternative to supporting its policies and demands with this military action. And it made this clear well in advance. Sure they might not have done this action, but if the had taken that course, then I say the USA would have been even more encouraged with its deliberate belligerence. Clearly the USA represents a very energetic drive to global administration where "democracy and Freedom" are just obsolete words from the past. I connect this with various statements of Klaus Schwabe and others - which to my mind have a lot in common with The AZOF views and its predecessors. I think that USA with its demon child NATO, forced Russia to form the alliance with China and others, and prepare for a split between nations which for convenience we will roughly label "The East" and "the West". This split will be total and permanent. I do find it IRONIC that the nations my family members fought in both wars to support, now are supporting that enemy. I have never heard so many lies in my life as come from our Western nations and their masters. I was raised post WW2 to believe in the West, the USA, England and the goodness / virtue of us all. Now I have a different view. As the behaviours / policies of our countries (both internationally and domestically) increase - the esteem and pride I had in them changes by inverse function. I am ashamed of my country and the West - and fear the war mongering USA.
It is your opinion and I respect it. But being shamed of the West you are belonging too sounds very hopeless. I am not shamed to be part of so called West (very stupid naming by the way). Why ? Becuase we have democratic principals. If you dont like the system than join politics and start building better future for yourself / your family. You HAVE AN OPTION. I am not sure you have equal options like that in Russia or China. Maybe I am completely wrong....
@@matavagner The politics of a democratic system is very flawed and far from perfect, especially when deeply intertwined with capitalism. It is really the top 1% with the most money that really has the loudest say or influence. It does not matter what the system is, human will always find loophole to their own advantages and make/brainwash common people like you to believe otherwise. It is the nature of humankind.
You said it perfectly exactly how I feel with my thoughts of my father an uncle that fought in world war II and the emotional and mental damage that it left them with for the rest of their lives! When we are awaken to the truth in the light becomes clear it is so heartbreaking to know that we were lied to most of our lives!
Sandyor and me, Disagree with this statement, I left Ukraine in 2004, one of the reason raised NAZIS. There is Nazi in Ukraine and as per mother who was a partizan in Ukraine during WWII the Bandera's Nazi collaborant were worse then German Fascists. For those who still don't understand: when Sashko Bely appeared in western Ukraine in February, they began to plunder guns and the crowd shouted "moskalyak to gillyak", (Meaning Russian to hang on trees) you said, this is chaos, but "there is no fascism in the country" when on March 14th, young boys Zhudov and Sharov were shot from the windows of the nationalist "Prosvita" on Rymarskaya in Kharkov, you said that this was politics - "there is no fascism in the country" when in April of the same year the Jaguar unit stuck its nose into the ground more seventy anti-Maidanists, and after all of them they were put in prisons and pre-trial detention centers for many months and years, you said - it will be calmer in the city - "there is no fascism in the country" when on May 2 more than 50 people in Odessa were burned alive in the Trade Unions building, you said - you still need to figure out who was there - "there is no fascism in the country" when on May 9, 2014, unarmed civilians were shot from tanks and armored personnel carriers in Mariupol, you said that these are all fakes - "there is no fascism in the country" no fascism" when they started bombing the Donbass, you said - but we are still alive - "there is no fascism in the country" when the first night torchlight processions began, when in September, under the general screeching and rage in Kharkov, the largest monument to Lenin was toppled, when the ultras issued indulgences for lawlessness, and the ATO (Anti Terrorist Operation) was introduced in the country, you said - if only there was no war, - but "in there is no fascism in the country" when during the whole subsequent year they were pressed, imprisoned, tortured everyone objectionable, you said - you were warned and no one asked you - but "there is no fascism in the country" when the facts of countless war crimes of the national battalions "Azov", "Donbass", "Aidar", "Tornado" and others against civilians of Donbass, violence, torture, murders, robberies were revealed, when dozens of common graves of tortured and shot civilians were opened, when opened the Alley of Angels in Donetsk, you didn’t say anything, but kept silent - “there is no fascism in the country” when Donbass began to be rescued and liberated, you shuddered and were surprised - but “there is no fascism in the country” when the first windows in Kharkov fell down from explosions, you panicked - what are you doing, it’s impossible - we definitely have “no fascism” in Kharkov when houses and infrastructure began to collapse from shells and missiles, civilian victims appeared, you got scared, "saw the light" and began to yell - and why are we? We do not want such a release! We do not need such a "Russian world"! The Nazis attacked us! when they convincingly explained and showed you that the Russians shoot only at military facilities and places of accumulation of the National Battalions and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, that the National Battalions and the Armed Forces of Ukraine hide their military equipment in the sleeping areas between residential buildings, that the sights are aimed at the high-rise buildings of Saltovka from the same Tyurenka, and at KhTZ sleeping bags flies in from Shishkovka that the national battalions are located in schools and residential apartments and fire from there, that ... you closed your eyes and ears to hide your fear and kept saying - you are all lying, these are all your Russians - fascists. when in all cities they began to tie people to poles without trial and mock them, when the inhabitants of Mariupol "Azov" began to hide behind, like a human shield, when the scumbag Azovets calls the mother of a murdered Russian soldier and laughs at her via video link and tells her in detail how he killed her son, when the scumbags of Chile and Nemichev in Kharkov shoot the legs of Russian captured soldiers and finish off the wounded to death, when in the basement of a residential building in Mariupol, where "Azov" equipped his shelter, they find the mutilated body of a young girl, without arms, with a swastika carved on her stomach, when a Russian prisoner of war is cut off his fingers and burned alive, when a Vinnytsia non-human from the teroborony (Territorial Defense Units) publicly tortures and kills a person in the eye with a knife, when...............
The truth doesn't mean anything, their agendas..... Pakistan killing 3 milyon and raping 400 000 women, young girls in Bengladesh, USA still supporting the rapist army. Without USA help nothing like that possible. This is just one example.... EOKA, 1963 Cyprus, just like AZOW.. USA forbids Turkey, Johnson's letter... Till 1974... I wonder why Russia waited 8 years... Yesterday l have seen a film by French journalist, A-L Bonnell and cryed. Man, no human quality left in the west. Money, greed, state terorism.... We need a revulation.... I listened good old Senator.... 2 person in USA owns more than 130 milyon Americans. Imagine 130 milyon spits on that 2 rich
I know all this but the world does not know because if their propaganda. I tried to tell this my cousin..she said..I am a Russian agent. Do Russians document all this.? You need a oroof for the world. Nis, oropaganda says about Bucze..Bucha..I do not believe it. BE STRONG.
I agree. Wipe them all from the map and as there is no human rights anyway within reach of them, do it fast and accept losses of civilians. How many would the Nazis kill if left alive? More than one each.
New sub. Found your channel thru the algorithm but was pleased to see something explaining this topic as I wasn't able to find much on it. Great video! 💜
Because the far right has almost no power. They had one seat. The US has far more far-righters in Congress. The speaker is a young-Earth creationist who denounced the free and fair election of Joe Biden to President.

"There's people who thinks Russia is losing and others that think Putin is a genius" Problem is that only one of those is taking the time to check different sources. I also would critique Putin choices but lately he has proven to be way ahead of the game or simply check the ruble, it fell but has gotten back up and increasing it's valor everyday, he had defeats in Ukraine but they have serve to check on the amount of power USA has and how dangerous Ukraine was. Without the invasion things like the labs wouldn't have been proven, Europe government wouldn't have shown how pathetic they are and probably would have voted to remain in power. Looks to me that Putin knew when, how and how bad things could get
I agree that Putin is a very competent leader when it comes to geopolitics, but I also don't want to glorify him or his party. That said, I recognize that it's easy for someone like me to wag their finger at foreign politicians and hypothesize about alternate timelines. I don't know what else Russia could have done and Amar's suggestions don't really resolve the conflict...
I did not understand lots of things when they started to unveil...the weird 40 miles convoy. Sudden war despite claiming not trying to attack. Now it looks like there was a lot of planning, strategic thinking and intelligence. I bet soon we will learn much more but currently Putin is holding all his cards close to his chest.
Russian incursion into Ukraine opened a can of worms. The secret bio weapons lab. The 8 years of shelling of Donbass region. NeoNazi. Racism even during evacuations. The influence of the western colonial global media in brainwashing their audiences. The danger of unchecked power of western hegemony in military and financial sphere.
@@TheNoxmage Yes, those who hide behind the human shield must be brought to justice. Despicable tactic. I hope Russia is able to eliminate these neo Nazi cockroaches.
A couple of comments. Guest ignored the ground situation in the Donbass. How many more people had to die? What about the build up of Ukrainian forces on the line of contact and the increased shelling? How much longer was Russia supposed to wait,? That 3 day thing is nonsense. Ukraine is too large a country to take with a limited force. The Russians have a professional military. They knew to save civilian lives they would take unnecessary risks and take casualties. Nothing would have changed. The sanctions would not have been rolled back and the Ukraine would have kept on being armed. We can talk about genocide or not from afar but as one resident of the Donbass said, "this had to be brought to an end".
Lies. Russia has a history of using mass bombardment and carpet bombing of civilian areas - Grosny for example,, Aleppo, where they also used Chemical weapons. The Russian army is characterized by incompetence and corruption. They loot, murder, rape and torture. That is not a professional army but a bestial depraved collection of mutants and animals. best way to treat these mass murderers is mass napalming
Rania - Zelensky was elected, but the Government who organised that election was not a legitimate regime it was a CIA sponsored dictatorship, which makes a big difference, and he was elected on a commitment to make peace with Russia, not to launch a war.
From a Canadian, another very interesting segment, and knowledgeable historian. Yes Canada has been building, and training the Ukraine military since 1992, to my dissatisfaction. I'm not sure why Canadian tax payers are funding a well-to-do country like Ukraine to the tune of multi billions. I should correct myself, I know why the Canadian government is spending money on this proxy war, that the USA pushed ukrians into. America told our Canadian government to do so.
and don’t forget that canadian government calls peaceful truckers Nazis because of one swastika flag, jails them, frozen their account and anyone who has even given a dollar to them is at risk, but an armed literal Nazi group that tortures and kills their opposition is alright and just a harmless far right!
Ukraine is not well to do… The poorest country in Europe Chrystia Freeland is a Ukraine sympathizer with Nazi family roots in that country which would explain why CDN tax dollars are helping to fund their corruption. Zelenskyy is an comedic actor with a law degree…..he’s never practiced law. However ask yourself how did he amass almost a billion dollars in personal assets (as the Panama papers revealed) in a poor country? Who is finding his wealth?
Our own finance Minister, Chrystia Freeland. She is of Ukranian descent. Her Grandfather was a man called Michael Chomiak. He was a Nazi Collaborator in Ukraine during WWII who run away to Canada after WWII after the Red army retook Ukraine.
@@cynthiacools-lartigue5297 yes I'm aware of Freeland history, and back ground. My statement on "Why are Canadian Taxpayers funding Ukraine , sarcasm/" was tung and cheek. I'm More than aware of international politics. Zelennsky being a puppet of the west, supported Ukraine oligarchs, western money, Israeli strategy. Canada since 1992 has been funding Ukraine long before Freeland was in the picture. But yes she fits into the equation perfectly, what a coincidence. Your statement on Ukraine being the poorest in Europe, is very debatable, or depends on one's understanding of poor.
Respectfully disagree in terms of Russian Support of Donbass. Ever since 2004 population of Western Ukraine and Eastern Ukraine was getting more and more polarised. The main issues were joining NATO, celebrating nazi collaborationist Bandera as a national hero and status of Russian language. By 2014 when the war started it was very obvious Western and Eastern Ukraine wouldn't make it together. Eastern Ukraine wanted greater independence, some wanted to separate and this was understandable. They didn't want to be forced into NATO and they did not want to be forced to accept Bandera as a hero. However instead of finding compromise Ukrainian government launched a Antiterrorist operation against its own people. That's when Russia started to support Eastern Ukraine with weapon. Also some compassionate Russian citizens started to come. However they were not the majority. In 2022 when it became clear that Ukrainian Government wasn't going to fulfill the Minsk agreement, Russia had finally to step in to stop the war. But stopping the war wasn't possible without de-militarising Ukraine which by that time had more weapons than any NATO member as well as over 20 private armies including the far-right ones in addition to the regular army. Unfortunately the USA and their proxies including Zelensky are fooling people of Ukraine. It was in the best interests of the Ukrainian people to remove all the weapons, accept neutrality and reject Bandera's philosophy.
The first Russian attack on kieif in my mind looks like an innocent blunder the forisity of the counter attack was a shock to soft westerner like me the violence involved was manufactured and preprept to a script written by the USA why is the American government so scary unresolved issues blocking the internet dark forces ext this war is uncloaking the creature that gives in the shadows wemay get a glimpse of its face
Tissue of lies Nazi trying to justify mass murder, rape, torture. YOu like most of the est here are nazi scum, nothing more, It shows me that NATo should get involved and sent Putin's Nazi army back to russia in body bags - those that survive intact the napalm and thermobaric weapons.
Really?! Banderas phylosopy? So,you think that a dead man like Bandera successful managed.to trick today Ukrainians? Don't you think that Ukrainians want to be free, regardless of what Bandera and Russians say? Btw, there is no country in the world without some right/left extremist political movements.
The more I tap into these detailed, scholarly, long form interviews the more I realise just how bereft our mainstream media is. Thanks to you born for such intelligent questions and solid researched analytical answers to a very complex situation. Cheers from Australia.
"I'm pretty sure that a lot of things have already gone very wrong for Russia, right?" Care to elaborate what some of those things that have gone horribly wrong for Russia are? Their economy has not collapsed, people still have access to all of the bare essentials that they need and most goods that they want, and has actually stabilized. The EU states that are dependent on Russian natural gas are paying in rubles, which is strengthening that currency, and Ukraine is conceding to most of Russia's demands, which is an indication that the Russian forces in Ukraine are completing their two primary objectives: de-militarization and de-nazification. Not to mention that Putin's approval rating has increased to over eighty percent.
1) 30K "soldiers" KIA. 10 general lost. Nearly 50 other senior officers lost. This is a calamity for Putin's army. 2) Who wants to buy Russians tanks? (imagine all those reverse engineered Javlins that will show up in Syria and Iraq). 3) Canada and US oil and gas up, for example: Canadian Natural Increases Natural Gas Output by 25%. 4) OPEC increasing oil output... do they really want to cut ties with the US and do they really want to be closer to Putin? 5) Early days for sanctions, but there are shortages in Russia... inflation running over 15%. 6) Even China is war gaming near Vladivostok... 19th century Chinese land, Haishenwai, it was annexed by the Russian empire in 1860. There are so many problems for a Russian economy the size of Italy trying to bully the EU+N America+Japan. Putin a dictator in a country that is not a superpower... and is on the decline.
I think Tarik’s response would be that it is not a realistic or practical goal because of how easy it is for Ukraine far-right members to blend and conceal as needed within Ukrainian society. Examples given such as how Azov were able to procure weapons not given to them or get military training masquerading as ordinary trainees. These far right elements have existed, ebbing and flowing since before the Soviet Union, in the late nineteenth century. Current far right groups in Ukraine are connected internationally to other far right groups. Military action seems to be bolstering and helping the far-right movement. Doubtful a single conflict could remove Nazi elements that have persisted for more than a century.
@@ExplorerBob Well, maybe they do no get why Russia means with de-nazifikation. All those extremists: they die. They obliterate Azov, destroy all their weapons and also most of Ukrains. Sure, you can't get rid of crazies. The point is to destory this giant, ugly we grew from that. It's the same as with Nazi germany. Yes, we did not get rid of the Nazis, but it was simply not the 3rd Reich anymore. Things changed. Even with a lot of these Nazis still in power (that mainly thanks to the USA who loved to hese Nazis, they got the right mindset for NATO and Cold War....)
@@ExplorerBob Very good point. I think it would take an international effort to combat right wing extremism because it seems to be spreading everywhere.
I think Putin’s concerns in regards to a rising Nazi ideology is a completely legitimate concern. But how does one “denazify”? It is completely impossible task other than taking out Asov. Which does not denazify. It takes out a military faction. I am disgusted and outraged that USA and western countries aided, funded, and weaponized these groups which gives Putin’s argument validity.
Aside from annexing Crimea immediately after the Maidan revolutionary coup (which installed the western backed bloc that had in 2010 advocated terminating Russia's lease on Sevastopol), Russia DID wait for eight years before officially intervening in defense of the Donbas, and the 'seige' of Kyiv which Putin presumed would result in an agreement that would make the Donbas operation unnecessary, like a Minsk 3 ceasefire, which almost succeeded in the successful negotiations in Turkey that Boris Johnson immediately overturned by pressuring Zelensky to rescind his agreement. If not for Johnson's influence, Putin's plan would've succeeded and the conflict would've been over in matter of weeks..
Good interview. The one thing that doesn't stick with me that I have heard from other commentators as well is that Russia's attack is responsible for Western government's domestic illiberal or warmongering behaviors. It should be clear that everything that has happened in the West was already on the agenda, and their push to conflict with Russia never had an off ramp. All of this was ready with a snap of the fingers, and there seems no way that extra time, Russian concession, or attempts at shaping global opinion would have changed anything in the long run.
nope. Europe didn't care about Russia. Sorry to burst your bubble. Putin was doing the provoking, and he has been building up to this conflict for the last 10 years. The conflict is between Russia and Ukraine, and somehow you think this was because of Nato? If Putin hadn't invaded Ukraine, nato wouldn't have expanded.
@@brmbkl I know this a waste of my time, but you are saying that NATO wasn't going to advance if Ukraine wasn't invaded? First NATO wasn't supposed to expand past East Germany, what Gorbachev agreed to, and instead expanded east into 17 countries while tearing all the major arms control treaties, overthrew the government of Ukraine and tried to do the same in Belarus and Kazakhstan. Right before the invasion Russia proposed terms that Ukraine must not join NATO and Biden said that no, Ukraine absolutely will join NATO. Before the invasion NATO Sec Jens Stoltenberg literally said "If Russia doesn't want NATO in its borders, it will get more NATO on it's borders" For 30 years America planners warned exactly what would happen if NATO expanded into Ukraine, and that exact thing happened. But you think Putin woke up one day and was like "I think I'll invade Ukraine for no reason". Days before the invasion at the Munich Security conference Zelensky proposed obtaining nuclear weapons, and his own government had been busy for 8 years ignoring Minsk II and bombing his own people in Donbass and empowering negative militias like Azov. Read a book.
Great Broadcast Very Informative however I think some points made to not seen as pro-Russian are misleading 1) Yanukovich government did not crack down on Maidan with brutality. Just watch the the videos of similar protest all around the world such as Gezi in Turkey. The demonstrators were more brutal and armed up than the police forces. It is a known fact Nazi organizations received such trainings in Poland before these all happened. 2) Yanukovich and the opposition agreed upon a transition process and Yanukovich sent the police force out of Kiev. That is what enabled Nazis to storm the government and force Yanukovich to flee. So the coup government banned the Russian language and started using the army against the people asking for referendum to loosen ties with Kiev. You cannot say separatists were a Russian provocation without mentioning the ban of Russian, persecutions and Odessa massacre. 3) It is senseless to compare the invasion of Iraq which was no threat to security of the West and which was based on a lie related to WMD with this operation for several reasons. People of Donbass were really suffering because Ukraine did not apply Minsk Treaty it signed. Zelensky clearly stated he intends to join NATO and acquire nuclear weapons. Nazis are a real influence in Ukraine's bureaucracy which prevents any diplomatic solutions Russia tried to achieve in the last 8 years. Regardless of other motives Russia may have, these are quite strong and right motives for such an operation.
Wait it is a FACT that Nuland and the US was there and they they are the ones who orchestrated the overthrow of the legit elected government in 2014. A FACT. It is where she said "F the EU" and it got caught on tape.
I'm sorry, you are spreading falsehoods. You do not have experience living under reign of Yanukovich, nor do you have experience of what it is like to live in Donetsk - my family does, and it is frankly disgusting that people claim to be speaking on behalf of the citizens on Donbas. The claim about the ban on Russian language is a straight falsehood. You are just spreading Russian talking points. I'd engage with your comment more, but I do not have the energy to argue with someone acting in bad faith.
So, the NATO trainers are training the extreme fascists but because there is one degree of separation from the "selection" process, they are granted the excuse of plausible deniability. NATO can pretend they didn't know everything about the Nazis and fascists even though they do. Very legally sophisticated as usual. When someone like an organized extremist group that exists inside of a national army is openly doing stuff online, not only are they fully known, every web surfer that goes there is also fully known and especially if they are in the same military or the same training group. Maybe the drill sergeant doesn't know but the command knows everything. ITS THE DEEP STATE FOR GOD'S SAKE, GOOGLE AND FB etc. are part of the deep state for god's sake. And this isn't revelatory of course, look at this week's activity. The US/west is going ahead with this pathetic war crime accusation because their mercenaries are uploading sadistic torture and massacre. Russian military pulls out of an area and leaves evidence of war crimes to be found? Anyone who is using more than one brain cell can see it doesn't make any sense, but the MSM is employed to poison and crowd out any critical thinking and to fill the discourse with more lies than truth so the truth can be hidden. This is the fog of war MSM. That's what it's for.
Agree 100%...NATO trained and weaponized Nazis in Ukraine. For the West there are "good" Nazis because they hate Russians and can be used effectively to create all kind of horrors against Russia like we have seen. It's very dangerous because all this type of ideologies will get stronger in Europe and knowing all the weapons that Ukraine is been given for the war -- only God knows where those weapons will end up. These type of radicals most likely will be pretty much wiped out by the Russians, but they ones that survive they will most likely get out of Ukraine and continue somewhere else. Who knows they may just become "guerrillas" or something like that. It's disgusting. I can't support racism in any shape or form. I have heard interviews how their own former president said that the Russian minorities in Ukraine should all suffer and be exterminated. They talk about this on TV! I mean, how has racism be normalized so much to this point?
I watched only a few scenes from a Polish movie 'Volhynia' from 2017, which was banned instantly in Ukraine. It has horrendous pictures there. It's a very infamous massacre that Banderist Ukrainians did of tens of thousands of Jews, Poles and Russians from 1939 to 1943. The authors claim they have relied on verified historical sources. I warn you, it's very hard to watch these atrocities. I can't fathom how come now Poland is supporting the very Nazi influenced Ukrainian government, and how the mass media is actively whitewashing Ukrainian Nazi Azov battalion. Some members of Atomwaffen in US boast they have been training in Ukraine with their far right militias.
Bandera wasn't a Nazi, the Nazis just happened to have the same goal as he did when it comes to the Soviets. He'd ally himself with anyone willing to fight the Bolsheviks. Proof? The core in Nazism, regardless if going mysticist like Himmler or pragmatic like Hitler, race is at the core of it. Bandera didn't give shit about race, he'd happily genocide anyone not Ukrainian pretty much like the tribal genocide in Rwanda. Right extremists have been networking a lot since the 1980's,; groups in Great Britain, Greece, France, Norway, Russia, Sweden, USA and just about everywhere else begun to cooperate. In 2014, it had some rather comical effects, with Swedish Nazis going to Ukraine to help the Cause... remember I said the groups were cooperating? They forgot to coordinate, so they ended up on BOTH sides, shooting at each other. How could any of them end up fighting together with the Russians? Simple, Russia had movements like Russian National Unity, lead by Barkashov. After they repeatedly got banned from registering as political party, they split up in smaller groups. In 2012-2013, FSB and GRU began to recruit them to help Mother Russia. When the Euromaidan kicked off, they got... help, to go to the Donbas area, and instigate a separatist movement, like happened in Ossetia 2006-2008. These groups was part of the networking mentioned earlier, and called for volunteers.... just like the Azov battalion did, and which side the Swedes and Norwegian went to became a matter of who they knew since before, and since they didn't think of checking between themselves, there were incidents of them shooting at each other. Caused some real bad mood and friction between the groups afterwards.
How come he doesn't mention what happened in Odessa in September 2014? Perhaps the single most important event in the tragic history of post-Soviet Ukraine.
My thinking exactly. I get the impression that he doesn't like the Ultra Right, but he doesn't like Putin either, so anything that justifies Russia's invasion gets overlooked. Although he was very fair and accurate on the promises Baker and Shultz made to Russia about NATO moving east.
@@xxvxxv5588 you're only saying this in a desperate attempt to keep it in the news - the fact that it was a bogus staging using bodies of those executed by the Ukrainians themselves is less important to you...

Please ensure you are familiar with the insanely aggressive evil UK, Italy, France, Spain, Dutch and how could we forget the despicable Belgium and their king Leopold ! Just to add, many are forgetting that it was after zelensky stated the desire to restart ukraine nuclear weapons program that putin , in fact, launched military action against ukraine. Follow the time line. ✌
Great interview! In depth and so informative! Long form conversational analysis is so real and puts the whole geopolitical events happening right now in a more personal frame that is so helpful in understanding all of this. Thanks!
Russia has long complained about the presence of Nazi groups in Ukraine. Then again right wing Western governments are not far removed from NAZISM. We see this clearly in Israel, ( evident from its actions in Gaza) but it is also evident in usa and England.
Great conversation, Rania! Thanks for having Tarik on and letting him explain the situation (i.e. not always interrupting) Tarik was great. I disagree with his take on Russia’s choice to invade Ukraine. I think the the Americans were going to get a war started whatever it took. But I appreciated his views on mandatory military and the draft. BTW, I’m not sure I’ve any of your videos before this, but you have an excellent speaking (during the intro I wasn’t watching but thinking “Who is this?”) Also, you’re a very seductive listener 😉 (like my wife 😁 ).
Azov is military division now, they used to be just a battalion before summer 2014 when their numbers increased by thousands, and they aren't the only one nazee group there, Aidar, Trident, Right-Sector, C=14, Don and many others increased in numbers since 2014.
No NAZI s in Europe. They died out in 1945. 78 years ago.Russian news should get up to date .Russia has the worst military .Every war they fight millions of them die.
I think they've been exchanged now for the Russian PoWs captured by Ukraine. They aren't supposed to return to the frontline, but when did Kyiv honor the agreement they made.
Exactly what EVRYONE concerned about the Ukraine war needs to understand and the long time historic relationship to the Nazis. But, most are not going to listen to the full length. Maybe break down in smaller segments. Thank you for educating us.
the US/NATO has had a hand in Ukrainian politics since the Euromaidan making sure that the diplomatic solution was never reached, Jacobin shared a report by Yahoo stating that the US had been training and arming neo-nazis since 2015 ("militias" in the yahoo report)
Congratulations for this extremely well executed interview. Mrs Khalek puts clear precise and informed questions and mr Amar manages to explain clearly and expertly complicated history.
In your dreams. I had many Russian colleagues who had wonderful peaceful life in Kyiv and nobody touched them since the Russian invasion. Most of Azov battalion speaks Russian.
@@bestintentions6089 It is even worse lie. I don't know what you checked but those were 3000 of Ukrainian Nazi who went to Canada. While there 1.3 mln of Ukrainians there. There are so many Ukrainians in Canada because of multiple waves of migration since 1897. And your statement about Ukrainian diaspora in Canada is simply a lie. About 8-14 millions of Ukrainians in the war against Nazi Germany. So please say thanks to them. While all occupied countries had Nazi collaborationists. I don't know why are you so trying to suck those accusations from a finger.
Regarding ethnic cleansing. In 2014 Ukrainians returned Kramatorsk, Sloviansk and Mariupol on Donbass. And there was no any ethnic cleansing. The biggest ethnic cleansing on Donbass was done by Russian army: 22k civilians killed in Mariupol, multiple cities destroyed completely, killed almost all men in ridiculous attacks on Ukrainian positions and capturing of new lands. While during 8 years by both sides were killed 3k civilians. So who is fashist?
Sounds like an honest man trying to describe a complicated situation. There are partly there to denazify, partly to prevent having a hostile armed to the teeth neighbour that does what Washington wants, partly they act on behalf of many countries that are tired of US dominance in world trade, control of UN and the petrodollar. At least that is my assessment. I've been looking into this quite a bit, but haven't been on the 'phone with Vlad recently or anything like that. China and Russia released a joint statment on Februrary 4th 2022, you may find it an enlightening read.
He's a Turkish/German talking and writing about Russia. He's proven to be confused more often. If you still are allowed to watch Rt international you can read his ideas on all kinds of topics.
The real question for US and EU citizens is do we want to legitimize Nazism. I say no. I say if they want weapons - tough luck, stop supporting Nazi. If you want aid - stop worshiping Nazi genocide criminals as national heroes - stop discrimination laws - stop hate crimes. The fact that there are real Nazi in Ukraine that have gained influence and cultural legitimacy is in Putin’s favor. But why should we care? The USA or EU are actually NOT AT WAR and there is no reason to enter the war. The fact that many US and EU citizens believe it’s a good idea is a product of recent propaganda. But this twisted propaganda encourages people to side with Nazi and propagate Nazi ideology.
There is one point thats missed . The Ukrainians started the latest conflict by attacking Donbas. Heres why, Nobody fights a war in ukraine out of choice in the spring /late winter. The majority of the Ukraine army was primed and ready down in the east and a lot of those zeds on the russian equipment were put on in a hurry. Lastly the shelling started by the ukrainians two days before the russian invasion.
Huntarama That's bullshit. Ukraine had already been invaded in 2014. Shelling had happened many many times during the 8 years between 2014 and 2022. Nothing that Ukraine did in February 2022 started the invasion. The invasion began because Putin wanted it to. Pull your head out of your ass you Putin loving fool.
@@angiebaby9981 Do you truly believe that had Ukraine not bombarded Donbass on Feb 16th (if indeed they did) that Putin would not have invaded Ukraine? If you believe that, then you are a fool about Putin. Obviously Putin was determined to invade.
He just passed a few periods, and wasn't talking about the 70 years of it. If you want the truth, you should ask him about the periods of Holodomor and Russian occupation and its impact on Ukraine.
You mean the several thousand memorialized at Yad Vashem for saving the lives of Jews at risk to their own? Do you remember how Russia signed a deal with the Nazi Germany to attack Poland when Germany did? remember how they attacked and destroyed all three Baltic states? How they attacked Finaldn unprovoked? Remember the 4,000,000 Ukrainians murdered in Stalin's famines? How the Russian army raped around 2 million german women? When the jews revolted in Warsaw thinking the advancing Red army would help them, the Russians stopped and waited until the Nazis had killed them; when the Red army liberated Ravesbruck camp, the concentration camp for women, the red army raped those women too. Are those the proud memories Russia should have - Nazi? Dirty sick little nazi turd.
Liar. The probability of that negligibly small and all of them left Ukraine. In comparison to the number of Ukrainians who died in Red Army it is a drop in the Sea. 10 millions Ukrainians died in WW II. They gave a chance to USSR to accumulate forces (with a help of USA) to strike back. So say thanks you to Ukraine. And how many fought in Nazi army? While Stalin made WW II possible by helping to capture Poland and providing with resources while it fought with France and Britain. Poland played a role of restrainer of Germany together with France. And Stalin perfectly knew that.
Good job. A little naive, militarily uninformed, and a bit closed off to the Russian perspectives. A strong Eurocentric perspective. Sad. But better than 99% of the political propaganda vetted by TH-cam.
Excellent interview, really impressed with Rania. Appreciate the guest too. She asked important questions I've never heard asked, like what options Russia had other than invasion and the situation in Germany.
Russia till now has not used area weapons in Ukraine . It has restricted its attack to the pin pointed missiles, rockets and tanks....also it has committed it's 10-15% of its overall war machinary, keeping balance for any eventuality like participation of NATO /US... Thirdly Putin made it clear in 2008 Georgia and 2014 Crimea incidences that Ukraine joining NATO was a no go....I don't understand what is there which was not clear to the West.... US ambassador in Russia wrote this to Washington in 2009 that it's a no go....but the US still pushed it.... Moreover if we hear Putin's 2007 famous speech he made it very clear to the West..
Russia has no right to tell any sovereign country who they may ally with. 2 - Eastern europeans joined NATO to protect themselves against the Nazi Putin. 3 - it was made clear by NATO that Ukraine would not be allowed to join because they didn't want to provoke a war. However Nazi Putin saw that as weakness and attacked anyway. 4 - The purpose of the attack is genocide. Clearly, you are a Nazi who does not have the mental capacity to understand international politics or history.
What is happening in Ukraine today is not fascism, but some degree of madness, rebirth into a monster of the beast. What Ukrainian nationalists are doing to their citizens, even with corpses, is amazing. This is already the most difficult mental diagnosis, desecration of corpses and cutting off everything on still living people and prisoners. President Zelensky's adviser Arestovich was forced to turn to the nationalists to reduce the flow of such videos. In his opinion, this spoils the image of Ukraine. The video may have become smaller, but this does not mean that mentally deranged people began to do this less with Russian prisoners. We all remember archival photos of the atrocities of Ukrainian accomplices of Hitler from the UPA, UNA UNSO with dismemberment and abuse of civilians - children and women during the Second World War (these horrifying photos are in the public domain, for example, the Volyn massacre). Even the German Nazis were surprised at the brutality of Ukrainian nationalists towards their own nation. Nothing has changed - Ukrainian nationalists are still ready to cut and hang Russians for free. This is how propaganda works that convinced Russians to start calling themselves Ukrainians. In Ukraine, fascism with a Ukrainian tinge flourished for 30 years. Here is another short video on the same topic by British journalist Graham Phillips. TH-cam blocks the link, I give name (Video in English, name of video in Russian only): “Украина: нацизм, денацификация, оружия в жилых районах и оружие для всех”. American Oscar-winning filmmaker Oliver Stone also released 4 documentaries about Ukraine's extreme nationalism: "Ukraine on Fire", "In the fight for Ukraine", “Revealing Ukraine”, "Ukraine 30 years of InDependence". In them, he also tried to analyze this phenomenon, a fusion of fascism and Ukrainian nationalism. Dangerous mix. Here is another 4-part film about the steps to merge Nazism with the nationalism of Ukraine (TH-cam blocks links, so I only give the names of the parts.): 1. West vs East in Ukraine - Roots of a Civil War that led to War - Full Documentary 2. The truth about the #war in #ukraine Part II - Full Documentary 3. The truth about the #war in #ukraine Part III - #ARussianOpinion 4. The truth about the #war in #ukraine Part IV - #ARussianOpinion Who now doubts fascism in Ukraine? They are just cannon fodder, they are useful idiots - they are ready to fight Russia for free. Perfect for the US, right? That's why the US turned a blind eye to Ukrainian Nazism - they are just useful.
Th e guys on 'the duran' thought maybe Putin felt he had to deal with this and not leave it to someone else less experienced after he's gone. Interesting thought
Truly, this shows that Putin is a man of patience, character and generosity. Unfortunatly, the people he was cutting slack to are black hearted cut throats, charlatans, and two faced devils. you know, western leaders.
Very good interview Rania and you asked the question I've wanted to ask of everyone of these people who say Russia shouldn't have invaded; you asked him what did he think Russia should have done and he gave a very poor answer, mostly with weasel words and obfuscation. He's an expert with no answer. I agreed with Putin and I'm even more certain I am right in this.
Generally good on the history BUT the following caveats: 1 - at around 1:15 / 1:16 (towards the end), he starts to show his own naivety and lack of knowledge when he completely ignores the fact that Nazis ARE NOT RATIONAL PEOPLE and they've been committing genocide / ethnic cleansing for 8 long years while Russia patiently attempted diplomacy 2 - at 1 hr 20 (shortly after) he makes this worse by suggesting Russia didn't exhaust all possible diplomatic solutions, and even says "you have to consider taking a political loss" ... and to which second point I would say to this academic: "go tell that to the people getting murdered by Nazis, that they're nothing more than a political loss" Seriously, Russia DID exhaust every possible avenue and quite to the contrary of this academic's position, I would suggest they waited way too long before bombing and killing the Nazis to rescue the civilians BECAUSE those people are real human beings AND NOT JUST STATISTICS ON A PAGE !!! FURTHERMORE ... the only reason I would accept for Russia not intervening militarily far sooner - and let's remember here that to the contrary of this academic's point of view, the military action of Russia IS LESS HARMFUL THAN WHAT WAS GOING ON ALREADY (and to say otherwise is to fail to understand long term consequences) - is, as I've heard suggest by at least one analyst, because they weren't ready to do so earlier and could only save Crimea following the 2014 coup It is hardly Russia's fault they weren't able to save Donbass at the start, as they've been under various kinds of economic attacks and proxy wars for decades running - and here again I differ with this guy's portrayal of past events in the sense that Russia DID NOT go to war with Georgia or Chechnya, it went to war against PROXY FORCES in those countries, which means it actually went to war against the USA and NATO (whether they were directly present or not), and it's interesting that French NATO officers have requested evacuation from Mariupol to the Russians, which once again demonstrates this to be a war not of Russia vs Ukraine but if Russia vs US/NATO via proxies So we do not get to put ANY BLAME AT ALL on Russia for this, because they spent 8 years attempting diplomacy with extremely reasonable demands NONE OF WHICH should they have ever had to ask for in the first place, and nobody would be doing Russia any favours by agreeing to those demands, as they don't get points for stopping doing stuff they shouldn't have been doing in the first place, and which not a single one of them would have accepted had Russia done it to them.
Russia has done 100000x worse to ukraine, and they are killing a hundred thousand innocent cvivilians, not nazis. Russia, always aggressing on ukraine terribly, mass genocidal atrocities, and always oppressing that country . IE HOLODOMOR. and now this.
Thank you for your sensible and accurate assessment. Unfortunately, not every academic has the time or inclination to study their subjects seriously. And even if they do, they sometimes just don't get it. Like with this professor. The saddest part is that those who listen to them will accept their gossip for the truth without further investigation. The result is as we see it - people full of opinions yet lacking the truth.
@@kevintewey1157 I can hear calls for genocide on Fox News. Listen to state TV in Russia (in Russian) and see what they REALLY think in the Russian government. They talked about nuking Siberia to win against the West and live like the 1930s.
The nationalist groups looked to the Germans for political independence but this was refused. They then found themselves fighting both the Germans and the partisan units attached to the Red Army. In the Ukraine they split into three groups and fought each other until 1943 when the Bandera faction came out on top. They sought influence whenever they could get it in the Nazi occupied territories and achieved some prominence and criminal notoriety as kapos in concentration camps, particularly in the notorious Treblinka camp in Poland.
This is the first video I have watched at this channel. I enjoyed this thoughtful analysis of the war in Ukraine! I looked up Michael Colborne's From the Fires of War: Ukraine's Azov Movement and the Global Far Right mentioned by Tarik Amar. I recommended it for acquisition to my local library. Much appreciated!! This TH-cam Channel I can see is going to be one of my new regular go-to places for solid leftist analysis. :)
I'm find it a bit disconcerting that you called it a "leftist" analysis. I think it was balanced and mostly stuck to facts that are omitted or lied about by the main stream media. I'm a bit of a lefty myself, but I prefer my media to be neutral.
When Zelensky told to NeoNazi leader, they replied mockingly that "if you take 100 soldiers from us, we will add 10,000 more" That's how powerful they are.
Yup, and they also told him they'd hang him from a tree in Kiev. At this point he's definitely being forced to continue the war by some shadowy forces in the background. Hell, there's probably a guy pointing an AK at Zelenskyy whenever Zel does his speeches.
@@zeamaiz945 did you see his speech in Greece and who he brought with him...OMG...the guy looked like a thug. I am sure they forced Zelensky to bring this thug...he was apparently from Azov.
Because they're not the real left. They're fake left. They don't even call themselves the left. Some of them used to be the left, but they turned to the right decades ago. They are no longer leftists long ago. Some of them were never leftists, but they were called leftists by the right. Great interview! I've been researching the Ukraine Military looking into the Azovs etc. I've learned a lot from following The Grey Zone, The Duran, Patrick Lancaster and many many others but this conversation gave me greater insight into this situation. Thank you.
The falsehoods being pretext for going to war is what he was alluding to. but with Russia possessing nucs America/NATO which is the arse-end of the same beast rather than risk world war 3 chose to use Ukrainian man power Nazi or otherwise to wage war by proxy. so obviously in that regard, yes there's no similarity.
Yeah… I have thoughts with this interview. Certain things this guest said that I would question and challenge. One being the fact that Ukraine has been a de facto NATO member for some time now, Ukraine had the third largest military contingent in the Iraq Invasion of 2003, getting combat experience, alongside US/UK/Australian militaries, and lastly, the flow of weapons that was going into Ukraine pre-Russian military oppression, and that continues to flow into Ukraine that only serves to prolong this conflict.
@@evaprsasimonovic1433 I said de facto. It hosted thousands of NATO trainers, went to war in Iraq fighting side by side NATO countries, and NATO was arming its military
@@Jovarey2004 Yeah, you're right '... a book “Allied Participation in Operation Iraqi Freedom” produced by the US Army Center of Military History, lists 7000 as a cumulative total for Ukrainian ground troops from March 2003 to December 2005 with Ukraine’s peak deployment 1630 (page 116).
I disagree with Tarik Cyril Amar who I think is biased, but he is entitled to his position. His assessment is Western oriented who fails to take into consideration the truth, the recommendation that Putin should have waited instead of lunching this operation is flawed, then Zelensky would have carried out his wipe out offensive against the Donbass. Another area of disagreement is Tarik's claim that there was no genocide taken place in the Donbass, he obviously echoes the German position that is invested in the Nazi Ukrainian position.
His assessment fails to take into account even something as basic as geography, abhorrently ignorant. One country is stirring up trouble across the ocean at another country's doorstep.
The Nazis in Ukraine pale in comparison to the brand of facist that make up the inner circles of the US military/intellignece/industrial kabal. Any true support for Ukraine would demand a quick and peaceful resolution to the war (aka return to minsk agreements). Zelensky ran on this platform, and it is most likely why he was able to win the presidency. From my perspective, the biggest challenge to peace in ukraine is the US establishment that has been planning this conflict for the greater part of a decade (if not longer). Between the 2008 introduction of Georgia into NATO and the conflict in South ossetia, to the 2014 color revolution/coup, to the arming of ultra-nationalist elements and their assault on the pro-Russian separatists in donbass, this conflict has US military/CIA fingerprints all over it. It is the same game plan that US has used in countless (i am not going to try to count) countries around the world (Iran, Chile, phillipeans, cambodia, angola, afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, etc. etc. etc.). It seems pretty clear that Zelensky would not have the political hutzpah to deny Russia the minsk accords without pressure/coersion/reassurances from US and its far-right proxies in the country. It seems Ukraine would not have the military hutzpah to provoke Russia in such a brutal manner as we've witnessed in donbas/luhansk without billions of dollars of US support. In my opinion it seems very much in line with the US "playbook" to have wanted, then devised, then planned for and finally provoked this conflict to the detriment of displaced/dead ukrainians, US tax payers, Russia and the region as a whole, and peace in general. The sickening frequency in which US has executed these sorts of operations can only be described as the most vicious criminal conspiracy. It is pure gangsterism, and I wince at the notion that my hard work and tax dollars support it.
The role, determination and objectives of the US are underestimated when thinking a different outcome was possible. Russia was a step along the way to China. US Wars (kinetic, proxy, economic, regime change, false flags) by the US before and since WWII Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Philippines, Cuba, Iran, Granada, Panama, Chechnya, Venezuela, El Salvador, Guatamala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Yugoslavia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Somalia, Niger, Myanmar, Cambodia, Thailand, Kosovo, Serbia, Yemen, Taiwan, Ukraine, Georgia, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Kurdistan, Soloman Islands, Taiwan .... Nuclear bombs on Japanese civilians "Over the horizon" killings in countries
Add up the number of people the US has murdered in these wars. Somewhere between 5 and 19 million. Not to mention the severely maimed and all of the people whose homes and lives were destroyed. They don't call them the Tyrants on the Ptomac for nothing.
I fully agree ! But the genocides, massmurder, massacres, destruction, blackmailing and following looting ... is called euphomistically "Interventions ". Millions and millions of murdered people ( mostly civilians - men women and children ) are "casualties "... But if Russia in an act of self defense happens to kill only one civilian in the denazification operation ( what may happen - as the nazi troops, trained by CIA / MI6 and their Nato cocksuckers, are used to be installed in civilian areas like hospitals, schools and kindergardens )... the propaganda workshops make a big fuss ! What a hypocrisy !!
Thanks Rania and Tarik. Though I would ask Tarik what he thinks Russia should have done given the fact that they had legitimate concerns about Ukraine's potential inclusion in NATO? I point out that the Russians did attempt to make a peace deal in 2022 which allowed Ukraine to keep nearly all of its territory (apart from Crimea) which the west rejected via Boris Johnson. It seems to me that they felt they had little choice. The Russians have perfectly good reason (Some 27 million dead during WW2) to fear the re-emergence of Nazism and extreme far right groups and they have legitimate reason to fear NATOs expansion. What was their alternative?
you men committing mass murder of another people. Russia attacked Ukraine not the other way round. BUt you are another Nazi liar and so will never believe the truth.
Great interview, lots of information to consider. I would have wanted to ask Tarik about the possibility of a civil war launched by the Ukrainian Far-right in the event that the Russians withdrew and the Zelensky government would not allow them to share power. The Far-right is probably gaining respect in the police and the regular military and bureaucracy. They can appeal to the patriotic element in the culture. There is no reason why they would go quietly into obscurity after the war. Nationalism is just getting started world-wide, so a showdown could be in the cards.
Zelensky is dominated by the nazis. I see no evidence that he would "not allow them to share power." What powerbase would he use to ensure that nazis couldn't share power? They control the military, police & secret police & have significant support among the people, like the nazis in nazi Germany did.

Please, the material is super important and serious. The two presenters are doing a fabulous job. BUT, PLEASE: There is absolutely NO REASON for the presenter to keep laughing and smiling and putting unrelated comments.
Humour is something people use when they like each other and enjoy the company and conversation. Taking the subject seriously doesn't mean you have to take yourself too seriously as well. I thought they were both respectful of the people and the topic, and although I didn't agree with Tarak's conclusions I too thought they did a good job.
I also thought the laughing was intrusive. She seemed like a silly girl at times, but worse, often her laughter obscured the guests comments and made him hard to hear. So with interjecting 'oh WOW ' so frequently.
I found this very interesting but I would ask Tarik, if you think the Russian claim of denazification is a lie, how did the allies denazify your country in the aftermath of WW2? Seems to me like the Russian aim of denazifying Ukraine is a very much legitimate one and I'm yet to hear a valid counterargument to this point. Aside from that, I very much agree.
Russia has no legitimate argument for invading Ukraine. Even if Ukraine had a fringe Nazi movement, it wasn't up to Russia to deal with that. Fuck Russia.
Doctor, Ukrainians collaborated with the Nazis in hopes of throwing off the communists. It turned out the Nazis were worse than the communists. You are legitimizing Russia's current actions and that makes you part of the problem.
11:02 Just like many Germans found the Nazi ideology very attractive. The fact is that in the late 1930s and early 1940s, many Europeans hated Jews. Their reasons for hating them were bigoted and sick. But nonetheless it was a common attitude. Thankfully the Nazis lost WW2. There are still some Nazis in Germany today. Should Russia be allowed to de-Nazify Germany as well?
@@therealuncleowen2588 Nazism is illegal in Germany and encouraged in Ukraine, where they build statues to Nazi war criminals. Stop pretending the two are the same.
How come this historian said that what the de-facto government in Kiev from 2014 and the current government of Ukraine, both governments USA puppets, were not committing genocide in eastern Ukraine? Of course Kiev was committing genocide, with absolute indifference from the West mainstream. Absolute shame and negligence of every human right, absolute hypocrisy. The Russian military intervention only came after the Minsk agreements were ignored and violated. The Russian military intervention was a perfectly moral and ethical decision, both to support the eastern Ukrainians and for defending Russia from infame geopolitical plans by the USA to do anti-democratic regime change in Russia and to ultimately dismember Russia, as it’s published in USA government documents from 1991.
Let me first salute this gentleman for putting forward a balanced view of the situation but I don't think that Russia had much of a choice given what has transpired post invasion. The discovery of these 30-something bio-weapons labs for one and also not to forget the consistent attacks on ethnic Russians or Russian-speaking Ukrainians who according to what other commentators have been saying, were being killed from shelling by these neo-nazis dating back to 2014 and none of this was published by western media. There was also a report that the Azov battalion guys were planning a full-scale attack on the Donbas region but was preempted by Russia's invasion. As a consequence of this lying by omission, I have absolutely no regard for western mainstream media anymore; prior to the start of this conflict I was already disenchanted by their misreporting but I don't listen to them any longer. I am done with these lying propagandists. I also think that the Russians did some advanced planning for this war; they had to be closely monitoring and making advance plans of what they were going to do. Why do I say so? When the US slapped those extreme sanctions on Russia expecting the Russian economy to collapse, it caused a brief slump in the Rouble and soon after that it bounced right back. China was also in league with Russia's plans in this exercise. Clearly Russia will not trust any of these countries from now onward which they call unfriendly.

Very informative. A couple of things that I would like to argue are:
"Russia thought they could take Ukraine in 3 days" who said that?

01:07:20; the circumstances in the case of Ukraine were in several areas quite different than Iraq:
1) Ethnic russians actually was repressed and their protests met with violence
2) Ukraine is a neighbouring state to to Russia and on its way into a hostile military alliance (and a hostile trade union)
3) There was a coup in Kiev, committed by neoliberals and far right forces in lock step with the head of a hostile military alliance.
They are victims of "fanatic Putin".
they're nazis dude I have pics of them w the swastika on their flag rn at the front lines they were nazis in ww2 as well. Putin all day baby❤

Right, it's easy to see how Russia was right or wrong by thinking what USA would have done if Mexico says we would build a nuclear program to defend us against United States.

@@zhaoyun3153 They kept pushing their luck to see what the Russians would do. Well now they know.
Bro the US are also the ones who pushed China away. China never wanted to be enemy but it is the US that needs China to be the enemy.
Of course.
Thank you for understanding🙏
There is also very good interview with ex NATO officer who was involved in Ukraine issue between 2014-2017.
He also confirmed that it was widely known in Pentagon that Ukraine was planning to strike on Donbas and Crimea begin March. So basically what Russia did: they prevented a mass murder on these territories.

"Russia could have waited longer" he waited for 8 years, how much more he had to wait to expect a diplomatic response?
Especially when you got:
a) a rising Nazi army, continuing their slaughter.
b) VERY fishy Biolabs.
c) president starting to talk about nuclear weapon programs.
d) clearly the preparation to finish the cleansing in the east.
And who knows what more.
According to Ukraine’s nazis, Russia should have waited until the nazis had killed ALL of the people in Donetsk and Luhansk, not only 10,000 of them.
Tarik Cyril Amar: frank, balanced, insightful, talented.
Absolutely!

Good comment, Keith.

Mariupol was a big miscalculation. No one in Russian excepted human shield tactics to such crazy extent.

China and Russia released a joint statement on February 4th 2022. Anyone wanting to understand the current global political situation should read it.
Ukraine is not well to do…
The poorest country in Europe
Chrystia Freeland is a Ukraine sympathizer with Nazi family roots in that country which would explain why CDN tax dollars are helping to fund their corruption.
A Chinese reporter on ground found a Advanced military strategic book in a Ukraine class 11th school library.
@@cynthiacools-lartigue5297 yes I'm aware of Freeland history, and back ground. My statement on "Why are Canadian Taxpayers funding Ukraine , sarcasm/" was tung and cheek.

Even without nazi regime, stirring up trouble across the ocean at another country's doorstep is as disgusting as it can get.

@@jjayman2 LMAO! 😂 😂 😂
So how does all this invalidate Russia's argument about de-nazification?
If Russia wins Ukraine will never have any offensive army.
Putin admitted to sending troops into Donbas and Crimea, official or not. Girkin was there.
Yes, it is
nope.
Europe didn't care about Russia.
Sorry to burst your bubble.

@@brmbkl If you don't know any of the history or geopolitics involved in the conflict, probably better not broadcast that to the world.
Great Broadcast Very Informative however I think some points made to not seen as pro-Russian are misleading
1) Yanukovich government did not crack down on Maidan with brutality.
Great explanation. Thank you!
@alexbattin6482 alex, your Azov commander is calling you to stop wasting time on youtube
Scott Ritter says Azov was the very first batallion that NATO trained
Agree, William. Thanks.

Very profound and consistent analysis of Ukrainian nationalists‘ collaboration with Wehrmacht!
I would have to suppose that the Poles fear Russia most.
@@johanmetreus1268 So in other words, Bandera wasn't a racist... he just wanted to commit genocide against everyone non-Ukrainian. RIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT.

You think that someone can occupy Ukraine with 180.000 solders ❓ He wanted to Negotiate, but they didn't have it...
That is one reason I was surprised by the Russian attack. I thought the troops were on the border to deter a Ukranian offensive.
Yeah he misses out on that issue wherein approx 18000 people have died since 2014....
I mean bombed by their own military....where does it happen...
Obviously Putin was determined to invade.

all thanks to Tarik Cyril for his very acute, astute analysis of the historic of Ukraine both ancient and recent history.

hahahaha, good one 😄
It,s the same in Germany.
Or a latvian, estonian, lithuanian, hungarian, croat, roumanian - tragic hobsons choice at best, coercion at worst.

The Russians have no legitimate reason to invade Ukraine.

In them, he also tried to analyze this phenomenon, a fusion of fascism and Ukrainian nationalism. Dangerous mix. Here is another 4-part film about the steps to merge Nazism with the nationalism of Ukraine (TH-cam blocks links, so I only give the names of the parts.):

Restraint and patience are what he showed for 15 long years. And things got worse. And he probably wouldnt have done it except to stop a genocide.
Putin said that Ukraine was a creation of Bolshevik russia
What were Russia's alternatives? To eat shit and give away its vital interests for nothing, or to stand up and fight in whatever way(s) necessary.
Generally good on the history BUT the following caveats:
1 - at around 1:15 / 1:16 (towards the end), he starts to show his own naivety and lack of knowledge when he completely ignores the fact that Nazis ARE NOT RATIONAL PEOPLE and they've been committing genocide / ethnic cleansing for 8 long years while Russia patiently attempted diplomacy
2 - at 1 hr 20 (shortly after) he makes this worse by suggesting Russia didn't exhaust all possible diplomatic solutions, and even says "you have to consider taking a political loss"
... and to which second point I would say to this academic: "go tell that to the people getting murdered by Nazis, that they're nothing more than a political loss"
Seriously, Russia DID exhaust every possible avenue and quite to the contrary of this academic's position, I would suggest they waited way too long before bombing and killing the Nazis to rescue the civilians BECAUSE those people are real human beings AND NOT JUST STATISTICS ON A PAGE !!!
FURTHERMORE ... the only reason I would accept for Russia not intervening militarily far sooner - and let's remember here that to the contrary of this academic's point of view, the military action of Russia IS LESS HARMFUL THAN WHAT WAS GOING ON ALREADY (and to say otherwise is to fail to understand long term consequences) - is, as I've heard suggest by at least one analyst, because they weren't ready to do so earlier and could only save Crimea following the 2014 coup
It is hardly Russia's fault they weren't able to save Donbass at the start, as they've been under various kinds of economic attacks and proxy wars for decades running - and here again I differ with this guy's portrayal of past events in the sense that Russia DID NOT go to war with Georgia or Chechnya, it went to war against PROXY FORCES in those countries, which means it actually went to war against the USA and NATO (whether they were directly present or not), and it's interesting that French NATO officers have requested evacuation from Mariupol to the Russians, which once again demonstrates this to be a war not of Russia vs Ukraine but if Russia vs US/NATO via proxies
So we do not get to put ANY BLAME AT ALL on Russia for this, because they spent 8 years attempting diplomacy with extremely reasonable demands NONE OF WHICH should they have ever had to ask for in the first place, and nobody would be doing Russia any favours by agreeing to those demands, as they don't get points for stopping doing stuff they shouldn't have been doing in the first place, and which not a single one of them would have accepted had Russia done it to them.

Probably wouldn't have listened to this bloke, but watching you has kept me listening.
Ukraine is not a NATO member, never was!
@@evaprsasimonovic1433 I said de facto. It hosted thousands of NATO trainers, went to war in Iraq fighting side by side NATO countries, and NATO was arming its military
'Ukraine had the third largest military contingent in the Iraq Invasion of 2003' Is that true? Wow..
@@Jovarey2004 Yes, that kind of combat experience is just invaluable.. I am truly amazed that this was the case. Do you have a source for this?
Tarik was kicked out from many universities for his biased views. He has no evidence at all and his theories are based on gossip.

Your definition of "wars" is pretty broad. Now do the same list for USSR/Russia. Longer than you'd think I'm guessing. In fact quite a lot of overlap.
Glad Russia is defending its people
Long live Russia
you men committing mass murder of another people. Russia attacked Ukraine not the other way round. BUt you are another Nazi liar and so will never believe the truth.
Glory to Russia and Putin ❤️❤️🙏🙏

My thoughts exactly. Her smiling and laughing downplays and minimizes the importance of this topic.

Clearly Russia will not trust any of these countries from now onward which they call unfriendly.
the WHO has explained what happens in those labs. This was clumsy propaganda by Russia.
I absolutely agree with you !!
