- This is so wonderful when people from different continents, with different cultures and ways of development, can forget about all the differences and focus on the main thing: global war for total domination. Peace and love will end sooner or later but the thirst for power and wealth can live in the people's hearts forever.

Amazing how quickly the Aztec’s got the advantage in that ongoing conflict when Spain waged a foreign war.
Spain was like a puppeteer this whole game, just lying in wait and not taking too much at once. Super fun to watch.

England couldve snatched out some Spanish cities while they were at war with the Aztecs.
Yeah, if they have taken Madrid in a few turns then proceed to capture more cities in the "old world", the English might even win the war. Spain doens't have much troops whenshe's in a stalemate with the Aztecs.

Spain and Portugal had a Greece and Troy type of war going on there. The Spanish despite their massive army, just couldn't take 2-city Portugal. They were going at it hard for like 60 turns before they just gave up and came back later.

Holy crap. The Spanish side was chocker block with units until they decided that the Aztecs required Catholicism.
The power of Shoshone's land grabbing is real in the early game but the peace loving Pocatello AI is the reason why Shoshone is not suitable for Domination victory...

Wtf England had a perfect opportunity to attack Spain while they were doing a beach landing on the new world.
The ais are total cowards to a fault. England could've at worst done serious damage to Spain attacking there, but Spain's military score was so much higher, England was too scared to even try it.

Well they did start good with creating the Angevin Empire with Paris at the beginning and forming a Franco-British union but yeah they were locked in with no navy

Being next to the shoshone is such a massive handicap with all your land getting taken. Need to find some way for the civs next to them to not to get so stuffed from the beginning. Maybe extra land around the shoshone to start or just not using them.
England really needed to attack Spain while they fought the Portuguese. Longbows could have tipped the balance and they could have split Spain between them and England probably would have been in a good enough position to then take out Portugal after.

Yes a unique building for bank called "Hansekontor", it gives you extra money when you make traderouts to other civs and extra production if you make a trade rout to a city state :)
obviously only from that city where the "hansekontor" got built, not global.
Good move by Spain. Wage war and wipe out the Shoshone Navy, encouraging the Aztecs to invade and conquer the Shoshone. But by doing so, they weakened themselves, which Spain took advantage of and launched their own invasion of Aztec lands.
When Spain established a foothold, the southern continent's fate was sealed when Spain sent their air force to the south. As soon as that happened, their air force was virtually uncontested and wiped out Aztec ground forces and demolished their cities for easy grabbing.
