    As others have said, as soon as i watched this it was obvious I was sitting terribly in my office chair, very badly slouched. Sitting properly immediately fixed the discomfort. Many thanks for posting

      The PressBox sure does whenever I have it now and then:(. I hope it’s not permanent but I don’t think it is because after I keep a habit of good posture, I try putting weight on the tailbone and it doesn’t hurt at all as much as I try. Of course I should keep maintaining good posture🙂. Now I tend to stick my hurt out which naturally doesn’t put weight on the bone and helps me maintain a good posture:))

    My tailbone was hurting while I was watching this and as soon as I changed to the proper position that he was showing us it immediately stopped hurting. I would have never known I was in a bad sitting position if I didn’t watch this video.

    I’ve had this for about 3 months and I thought it was from riding my bike (sitting on the hard seat) because I rode for about 18 miles and a couple days later it hurt so thanks I’ll try this

      @@JustBlurr The technique shown in the video vorks only for some chairs, it didn't work for me, but i have found out that for me it goes away for a bit when i am not sitting much, but when i sit for long periods of time it starts to hurt again. Hope this helps :)

    Thanks. I drive 80k miles a year approx. I have had a seat cushion with tailbone cut-out, as well as a back support, for 5 years now. My tailbone still hurts.... It seems only not sitting at all helps it heal

      You might have SI Joint pain/instability - Which can cause pain around that area too.

      I think an adjustment is possible. By a chiopractor, or self-adjustment through stretches, and self- body manipulation...

    I got my tailbone pain when I got myself a kneeling chair for work in my office. I regret it very much! It didn’t fix my back pain but also added pain in my knee plus tailbone pain.

    Now that I'm in school it started to hurt because of my posture and I think it's also the chairs. Like if I sit on my wooden chair at home with good posture I'm fine but at school that's a living nightmare

      just make sure you never slouch and do a few of those stretches and you'll be fine, even I freaked out. Dont worry it will go away. Also after you fully recover don't go back to the habit of slouching. And also if you feel like its cominh again dont ever touch or press that area. leave it alone and you'll be fine :)

    Very good and informational video, thanks! I also have upper back pain from time to time. I am a young man, 23, who works on a computer so most of my days are just sitting down. When I read about back pains then mostly I find about lower back but my lower back seems to be fine, I'm only feeling pain on the upper part of my back. I do have habit of slouch forward. What could be the problem?

      It is posture, if you are looking down at your keyboard all the time, you're giving yourself a hunchback. I do it all the time, and sitting up straight helps

    I tried it today. It didn't work. In fact, it triggered more pressure and pain than the day earlier without any extra cushion. I am kind of experimenting on all kind of cushion and pillows. Must i only place it on a metal, wooden or plastic chair?? I tried on my adjustable cushion office chair. It was such a comfortable chair. Sitting on the floor, bed or sofa with my legs by the side didn't hurt. How can i heal the tailbone pain?? But, i cannot sit crossed legged like a lotus pose on the floor. My tailbone hurts.

      You need to understand why you're getting more pain. Is your tailbone still pressing into your chair, even with the cushion in place? Then maybe you need a bigger cushion. Also you may have something else, like an SI Joint instability, which can cause pain around the tailbone too. If you're not sure what you have, go see a doctor in person.

      Possibly (not a medical opinion, just my opinion and i have tailbone issies and pain)
      Your body may relax on the cushion because you feel more comfortable. You may sit on it longer. Then standing up hurts like hell. Thats my experience

      Never trust google it always jumps right to the worst-case, if your worried go see your local doctor and get them to do are MRI scan and are blood test.

    I don’t know why but sitting all day is affecting me maybe in the tailbone. I’ve had numbness on my pennis, slow urine… pain near the ass… I have a damaged nerve and sitting in my tailbone is for sure making pressure on that nerve… maybe the pudendal nerve… sometimes I feel spasms of sensation like stings through my perineum to the pennis. I thought the symptoms I had were from a pennis fracture I had in the past but it’s from sitting all day in work! This will never heal omg… I don’t know what to do. I have to work …

    I think mine is too long or extruding out. Even hurts when sitting on recliner sofa. Losing weight and in buttocks has made it painful. Now i hahw a flat butt and no cushion for the tail bone. It is extruding out and hurts even when laying down on back on the chaise sofa.

    I was sitting in a waiting room for 4 hours just like that on the same kind of chair and I wokeUp the next morning with excruciating pain in my tailbone once in a while a shooting pain. I’m going to focus on posture and just rest the next few days , my best question for you tho is , what’s the best position to sleep in for practicing proper posture and good sleep health

      @@BackIntelligence thank you , I woke up today with low neck pain and you touched on exactly my issue , now a days in 2021 our daily routine involves looking down a lot . Im a bike mechanic and I always hunch over . I’ll try to straighten out in bed tonight.

    Hello I fell 3 days ago on my butt and from then my tailbone has been excruciatingly painful! Not as much at the moment but when I get up or bend down certain ways or even sit down hurts. I just want to make sure I didnt fracture it bad enough to go to the hospital I really dont want to go at these times and dont want a medical bill helppppp!! Pleasee😭😭😭❤

      i used tennis ball to get relief. sitting on the ball for 5min.left and right butt

      my english isnt dat good i can explain you clearly.but tailbone pain is always inward.i hv this pain for nearly a year.and the exercise i refer is the only one i get relief.like you i watch loads of video.but ya u should be carefull before starting this exercise.wait 2 or 3 days u will get an idea exactly where the pain is more

    Literally been experiencing tailbone pain for 3 months now. Ever since the pandemic started I’ve been slouching in my chair for work, literally all pressure on my tailbone for over a year. Then after I’m off I went and slouched AGAIN plays games on my PC. Ugh, Google is telling me I have cancer but I know I don’t have that. Hopefully this goes away after fixing my posture
