Hi @wangel2210 - If there is ligament laxity/injury found, our approach is to treat with Prolotherapy to stimulate the ligaments to repair and strengthen. Prolotherapy is a nonsurgical regenerative injection technique that introduces small amounts of an irritant solution to the site of painful and degenerated tendon insertions (entheses), joints, ligaments, and in adjacent joint spaces during several treatment sessions to promote growth of normal cells and tissues.

Unfortunately there is no way to tell what the best remedy is without doing an evaluation. Although she might not had a fall, we often find that pain can come from instability in other areas of the body. For example, the tail bone could hurt due to low back, hip or pelvic instability. The best thing to do would be to get an evaluation!
I’m a 39 year old not overweight average male. It started out with a deep dull pain in my upper hamstring. When putting on socks or something it was sharp. At its worst I would have to crawl in the morning. Getting dressed was hard. That was like 7 months ago. It got better for like a month or so. But now my left lower back is hurting as well.
Hey man, I hear ya. I had a lifting injury that gave me ligament damage in the SI. NO ONE could figure it out. I was crippled and bedridden for 6 months. Had to walk with crutches and then another 5 months or so with cane. Back was destabilized because of loose SI ligaments. So I had back pain and now bulging discs and pinched L4 nerve. What I think got me walking again was prolotherapy. Check it out and treat it quickly. Was living it up and hiking again for 8 years. Now back to crippled. This injury is the worst!
Hi Cassian YHVH, Ultrasound shows the integrity of the tissue so you can see if there is degeneration of the ligament and tendon tissues, tears, abnormal swelling or other abnormal findings.
Hi Laura Lee, good question but generally not. Severe tears of ligaments typically show up on MRI or abnormal masses, etc.. but when it comes to loose/weakened ligaments, you have to move or apply pressure to them. We often compare joint instability to a loose hinge on a cabinet door- you don't know the hinge is loose until you move it. Wish you all the best in health!
We are so sorry to hear this - we’d love to help you get back on track so that you can continue bike rides! Give us a call and we can hear more about your case.
Please tell me the solution. I fell on my tailbone long time back and now i suffer from chronic lower back problem. I have been looking for solution for so so long.
We always recommend getting a DMX if possible! This is one of the best ways to show instability as it allows for you to see the body IN MOTION - opposed to a still image from and MRI or X-Ray

I had suffered with this pain for close to 16 years and just overcame it. Of all the doctors and specialists I saw it was a chiropractor that guided me in the right direction and also treated me. He called this condition cycling syndrome. Start with some stretching then work into strengthening your pelvic floor, glutes, and core muscles. After a few months the pain will subside. There's some very good pelvic floor videos on TH-cam that can point you in the right direction to stretch and strengthen those 3 areas. What do you see on ultrasound that indicates the soft tissue injury or laxity?
Hi Cassian YHVH, Ultrasound shows the integrity of the tissue so you can see if there is degeneration of the ligament and tendon tissues, tears, abnormal swelling or other abnormal findings.
These videos are really educational...im going to try.. Prolotherapy... Thanks
How do we find out if tailbone has been broken before. Mine is stuck 😢it’s causing dural tension
We would love to get you in for an exam Tasha!
Wouldn't this show up on an MRI?
Hi Laura Lee, good question but generally not. Severe tears of ligaments typically show up on MRI or abnormal masses, etc.. but when it comes to loose/weakened ligaments, you have to move or apply pressure to them. We often compare joint instability to a loose hinge on a cabinet door- you don't know the hinge is loose until you move it. Wish you all the best in health!
Mine started after a hernia surgery getting worse after lomg travel
What is the solution for this problem
Prolotherapy is a great treatment option for joint instability!
Mine started when i finally got time from work in 3 years and went on a long drive on my bike....😢
We are so sorry to hear this - we’d love to help you get back on track so that you can continue bike rides! Give us a call and we can hear more about your case.
Please tell me the solution. I fell on my tailbone long time back and now i suffer from chronic lower back problem. I have been looking for solution for so so long.
Try glucosamine & chondroitin supplement - It worked for me.
Try PRP (platelet rich plasma) therapy and Prolotherapy, find a specialist in your area and make an appointment
I cant seat down 5 years many doctor send Mr but nobody's can't find so I don't now what's wrong.
We always recommend getting a DMX if possible! This is one of the best ways to show instability as it allows for you to see the body IN MOTION - opposed to a still image from and MRI or X-Ray
I just had a spinel decompression surgery, and now I can't sit or stand when it locks up I scream so badly. It feels like a fire and getting stabbed 1000 times. I can't go to the emergency room i wont be able to wait, and i have a dr appointment tomorrow i don't know how I'll go i can't get into a car. I was gonna call 911 just so i can get a ride and be seen right away because all i can do is lay on my stomach.
Gregory, we are so sorry to hear that you are experiencing this after surgery. We are praying for you complete healing as you go into your appointment tomorrow!

Till this day every single morning I wake up I still do these exercises so this NEVER returns. A true living hell.
Im 43 and on crutches. Cant sit. Cant walk, cant lay. No position is good. Living hell but need to keep going for family.
@@naturemanmatt 😢 I'm about in same boat, lying on one side right now, can walk slowly, don't give up
@naturemanmatt I am 44 and have the same problem.
