- In this video, I get my makeup done in Korea at one of the best reviewed salons in south Korea.
The makeup artist was super sweet and did Korean style makeup on my face. I am not sure if you would call this Ulzzang makeup but I think it was pretty interesting trying Korean makeup as a black girl. It low key reminded me about the time Jackie Aina tried Korean-style makeup on her youtube channel. But anyhoo, the makeup artist did a great on me as a black person. This transformation was fun and I can't wait to try more things out as a black girl In Korea! Let's keep it going

That woman took one look at you and knew exactly what to do and make those eyes pop. Beautiful and sweet.
Also, from what I can tell Korea just has a crazy amount of situations where saying "umm" and "ohhh" with different intonation is just appropriate and I love that. Where I'm from it's kinda seen as a bad speaking habit, but it feels like it makes things simpler to me.

@rosy_ monty no it isn’t. Anti social-ness is more of a disorder rather than How someone that does not know it being a disorder would interpret it. It relates more to the Disorders of psychopathy or sociopathy. Being anti social means you Possibly Possess traits of being manipulative, impulsive, and Rude. While Being asocial Means you just aren’t social or Really dive into relationships with other people. Though Asocial also Can mean you are hostile towards strangers, you could also interpret the meaning as having just a lack of social interaction with those around you.
I think the Korean girl actually had a good time doing your makeup.. that face is got the right features for a makeup artist! Perfect lips , eyes , the bone structure of your face is just insane .. loved it

I love how natural the result was, even in daylight. And also that she let your skin shine through for the highlight (for example on your nose). The eyes were amazing and still natural looking!!! Loved all of this!❤
She did beautiful job! I had a Korean makeup artist for my wedding she made me and my bridesmaids beautiful and knew how to do a beautiful job on our different skin color! She also did my hair and extensions it was awesome!

I love the compliment from the MUA - you don't need to contour because your face is so small. LOL The ultimate compliment in Korea. Your eyes look so amazing with Korean style makeup. The under eye looks so much better than American style makeup. But then, you're beautiful to begin with,

You look so pretty! I'm mexican and without knowing i've always preferred more innocent, minimal contour make up style. I think contour can make you look more sophisticating mature... not older... but mature. I rather look younger. And your MUA did a great job of making you look fresh faced and young!
Nah, it makes women look old! I hate the contouring! 😭😭😭. I always think Maleficent when I see someone with an overly contoured nose.
It doesn't make you look old if its done right.

I like how the makeup is light, specially the skin and they eyes are the center of this this look.
That's why I like korean style of make-up , it looks light and your face still the same kinda they just add little liquid foundation and just eyes and lips and eyebrows then viola!.. Unlike here in my country theirs lots and lots of layers of foundation. . What I admired about Korean make-up styling was in their eyes they really suits your style to your eye shape and your lipstick color too.
She made your eyes pop, in the most beautiful way; I couldn't take my eyes off of it. And the make-up looked effortless yet so elegant.
The skin finish is impeccable. And the eye liner? She was so precise!
It's so refreshing to see such subtle makeup. Don't get me wrong but American makeup really plays into a certain template of beauty. It doesn't accentuate a person's features as much as Korean makeup. Just love the way how you're makeup turned out.❤

I think she did an amazing job! It’s light but the enhancement to your features is definitely noticeable and flattering! That style of eye makeup looks very nice on you
The makeup artist very honest and humble, she even said about doing Korean brow, and tell about how she don't have matching shade. And i love how the makeup is done! You look amazingly pretty especially your eyes!!!! 😍😍😍

It's interesting how foreigners living in Korea start picking up East Asian behavior traits as well when speaking Korean. Like being all shy and denying other people's compliments, even saying stuff like "no, not that pretty / not that good"☺️😉 while in the US it's always about coming across maximum self confident.

@@sophiefilo16 when learning Korean with Pimsleur they tell you to down play all compliments, it’s a sign of modesty and part of their culture. When someone says, you speak good Korean, you’re supposed to say, I can’t speak very well yet. Lol that’s also what my Korean language teachers mentioned in class.

You have the most beautiful bone structure, she did a good job with giving you a soft natural enhancing smooth look for you, she may want add a color correcting concealer to her stash to cover dark blemishes other than that I like how she did not go heavy and harsh but kept it classy and natural

@@epic7224 bruh anybody who speaks any language as their vernacular/first OR grew up speaking it alongside their own from a very young age, might feel it's easy. It's not. This is not just about Korean btw.
My first languages are English & Spanish, and yet I still found it oddly way easier to learn Korean and Japanese then French (which I have to take in high school)
Now I’m taking French 2 but I’m still struggling with conjugations and imparfait, auxiliary verbs, and all that. Especially the pronunciation…
But for some reason 🤨 I was able to learn how to read & understand Hangul, read Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji all within a year at the same time.
I’m just saying this as a reply to the comment above me but I don’t feel the need to tag them

Makeup artist is really realllyy good..she has done the base so perfectly and its NOT looking cakey or unnatural at all❤️❤️ soo pretty
So professional having you bring your own foundation! That’s what I’m always asked to do by HMUAs on photoshoot days. They want to make absolutely sure they can get your shade perfect and your makeup on point ❤️ also love that they didn’t try to just make it work with what they had.
She did a great job and you look beautiful. I especially love the technique on the eyes. I always feel that makeup should enhance features, not make someone look like a totally different person; and you, doll, look like a refreshed and happy you!
