You can’t hardwire the chips to the salsa unfortunately. You can use the printer wirelessly with the aircast though

I send the recordings to the client with add ons such as a custom vinyl record, usb flashdrive or as simple as a Dropbox shared folder. You can get as creative as you want to be!

Yes right now it’s only one at a time. They said it was on the roadmap for future updates but that could be a while before that happens. I tell my clients that it’s better to have one so the event has a consistent experience. Never had a problem

Think of it as small medium and large. I’ll always recommend 3, with the middle package being where you want the majority of your customers going

That’s so exciting! That’s a great question. I did start with the essentials package but to be honest I don’t know that I can recommend it. I think you’ll be better off purchasing a backdrop frame from PBBackdrops (checkout my backdrop video). Then you’ll know whatever backdrops you purchase as you grow will fit the frame really well. You might be able to get a really great deal on the Salsa 1 so just from a cost saving perspective that’s my best recommendation

@ Okay I will look into getting my own backdrops. 🙌 The new Salsa 2 seems to be more improved. More lightweight and has more built in features etc. I am leaning on getting the Salsa 2. However it doesn’t come with a printer do you recommend any printer to get out there ? There’s a few things to consider even buying a battery, iPad, printer, printing sheets etc. My main question is which printer is the best one to get and which iPad? I will speak more to the team about it. You seem to have some better suggestions since you’re in the business. I appreciate your help. Great videos by the way I must watch them all when I get the chance 🙂 I’m really hoping to start everything in February next year.

No, I’d go with the 4x6 Depending on your software you have to select one size to use for the event

Does it come with lighting? In purchasing my own additional lighting I’ve preferred the softbox. I use my softbox lighting (video lighting) for multiple uses If you’re talking about flash, that’s something different.

Still use them to this day! For the iPad try finding the older generations (not the new one with the camera on the side)

I’d get a good email nurture campaign/workflow set up so you can take those emails and convert them into leads. No matter what you do, you’ve got to reach out to them, and often.

Website is for those leads that come in from Google and to show legitimacy. I just did a recent video on my approach to my website!

This really is going to be the best one that will last you the longest. My recommendation would be to maybe try find a used one for sale or doing digital and saving up until you can get this one! There are other printers (checkout desktop darkroom for their list) but this is the one that is most recommended.

I use it as a steady light for my iPad booth. It’s not connected in any way to the camera. It’s technically a video light
