Someone's probably told you this already but just thought I'd mention that the smart steering can tell if you have a mushroom and tries to guide you into little off road shortcuts. That's why it sometimes puts you in the off road :)

@@nyandoesthings I have personally found that the auto steer will override your controller. Granted, I was deliberately trying to drive off the road in that instance.

Quick tip for anyone who tries this. Only use mushrooms when you turn long corners as you only slow down in speed when you take a turn around a corner. Just remembers there’s always a possibility you could loose that mushroom before getting a chance to use it as sometimes people have lightning of the boo power up
