Domonique is right. This was much better than discussing the draft.

This was a powerful conversation. I'm glad Foxworth went with it when the conversation went there. I'm glad Smith was so open

I felt like Dominique on this one… Charlie was just beating a dead horse.
He said he didn’t think Adam Silver was a bad Commissioner but still continued to want to talk about what he could’ve done to say college basketball…
      That’s not his job!
      A. Silver tried to capitalize on a market inefficiency and the market corrected itself.
Had he suggested that college basketball players be paid… someone would’ve told him to fix his own leagues issues!
And it looks like that too will be fixed because some of these college basketball players haven’t shown that they are ready for the NBA and they are also now benefiting from the structure of a team environment and getting physically ready for The NBA.

The NBA got greedy and failed with the G-League and unliked men’s college basketball the women are a more polished player because they are mandated by The WNBA to be at least 3yrs removed from high school!
The NBA has no such mandate and so the likelihood of a player failing is much higher and the league isn’t really getting the free marketing or a polished player.
That NIL money should start keeping a lot more young men in college… as it has a few young women; especially considering how fast they can wash out of the league.
All of them need to get back to staying 3yrs.
The goal should be to have a 10+yr pro career!
