Was a great vid mate,yea nearly managed to get all i want this year no sth but im only a newbie lol, somehow managed to get my colours mixed up and got the white alfa gtv and the red audi 90 not complaining tho, That alfa realy does look premium!, Also the white gt 40 looks great, Managed to get 2 black savana rx7's and audi quattro sport on the back to the 80s cards woop! Good work hwhuk!👍😎
The 89 Mercedes was absolutely the best model released for this year . I bought so many of them and I will be doing as many customs as I physically can
That casting was fantastic. It’s going to be tough for the Hot Wheels team to pull off a better year for 2024 (in terms of new castings), but I’m sure it will still be full of great new casts. I’m really digging the new Pontiac Aztec coming out. I hope it looks as good in person as sometimes that’s not the case and vice versa. Thanks for watching! Hope you have a great start to your 2024!

Nah, you’re good. You being here at all means loads to me! I think the vette is just a little off. I think the length might be ok but I think it’s a little too slim and isn’t quite tall enough. I was nit picking a little in the video as It was soooooo hard to pick my least favourites. That’s why I gave it 3rd ‘worst’. If I though it was way off to the point it ruined the ascetic quite a bit it would have been my worst one but it’s not awful, just not quite perfect (to me, it’s just what I see and my option of it)
The proportions on the 72 Vette are actually pretty realistic, as we're so used to seeing the widebody versions of the C3 (COPO, Greenwood, etc.) This pre-impact bumper C3 (68-73) were actually pretty narrow from factory. Besides that, totally in agreement with your assessment, excellent recap & happy to see my number 1 vote win! All the best for 2024!
I see what you mean totally. For the me the casting feels a little small, especially compared to other corvette castings of the same generation (gas monkey corvette which is a decent amount larger). I think that’s maybe why I thought it was a bit too skinny, when maybe that wasn’t the correct assessment, maybe the casting itself is a tad bit small. It’s also much lighter than the gas monkey too adding to my suspicion. Thanks for watching! I hope you have a fantastic new year!
Which did you vote for as your favourite? The Mercedes Benz? It was super close for me between that Mercedes and the Alfa. Was pretty much a toss up for me. This year has been great for new castings
You definitely know more than me about this generation of corvette, so I’m probably the one wrong, but I’m not sure why there is such a difference in size between the gas monkey garage corvette and this convertible version (in terms of height and every dimension other than length)
@@hotwheelshuntinguk the GMG C3 is very customized and the fenders are widened, especially in the rear. I think the overall scale is slightly larger on the convertible, I could be wrong though...
@@simonscarstuff2910 length wise you are 100% correct, it is longer however the actual metal body of the gas monkey corvette is quite a bit taller and a little wider (not including arches). It’s a small thing and honestly I was nit picking in the video, as all of the new castings were so good, I had to scrutinise them all to pick the worst ones out (for me). 👍 maybe both of them are slightly out of scale in certain ways. I’ve seen a couple of these in real life but not enough of them to be sure. As I’ve said, you probably know more than me, but going off pictures (which can be misleading in size sometimes) it looks slightly off. Not massively off by any stretch of the imagination but a small bit.

The casting itself is accurate and the spoiler was probably up because... Hot Wheels Lol. Have to agree with the Supra being 2nd worst, as it could have been done way better. Strange how one headlight was up and one down. Didn't agree with LR series II being worst favourite tho - plenty more to choose from for that place! AR GTV6 well deserved as best place! I personally put the Bolide first because of my personal taste in supercars, but definitely understand why many others put the AR GTV6 / MB 560 as first. Agree that the GMC Hummer could be done way better too.
Yeah I fully agree. The rimac is a really good new casting and I agree with you and the spoiler being up because it hot wheels lol. I quite like the supra, I don’t think it’s one of the best but it’s around the middle of my list. I agree with you on the LR aswell. I think it was a really well executed new casting. It was a super hard choice for 1st place for me because there were so many good new castings which were pretty much equally as good as each other. Happy new year to you too! Sounds like that wasn’t a bad shopping trip lol. Glad you managed to find it. Its incredible! The amount of detail in terms of tampo work and also in the metal casting is soooo good. I love the black version. It looks so slick and clean! It was super hard picking between this and the Alfa Romeo GTV6 3.0 for first place because I love them both. Not biased cos i own one at all.......😂- Come on hw youve done a proton for crying out loud!, Picked up the back to the 80s black 88 jeep wagoneer and thought hmm.......goonies custom?...(i know its not a cherokee but not far off, Plopped on sum gold r/r's painted the yellow ac's and boom!,the frattelli's would be proud! 👍
