I currently run Michelin ltx at2 and I’m going to tell you I don’t think I will run other tires!! It’s just a different breed of tire when it comes to wear , compound, ride comfort on hwy, chip resistant, in the rain in the snow, in the gravel there just awesome tires I can’t complain they balance perfectly, they wear so evenly I can’t tell front from backs and it’s a dually.. I’m currently running factory LT 245 75 17 50k miles on them and still got 70% life on them I rotate every oil change 10k miles it’s a diesel… I’ll probably upgrade to a Lt 265 70 17 when time comes..
They just released the LTX- M/S 2. It has a little more aggressive looking tread but is just as quiet and gives you more of the A/T look. Kinda expensive, but so far worth it. My gas mileage has improved 3 mpg around town over the Goodyear Wrangler duratrac. Compare the looks and performance on line. Both warrantied for 70,000 miles.
If fuel mileage is important to you, get rid of the leveling kit. Having rake will improve your gas mileage. The more air that goes under your truck, the worse your gas mileage will be. Great tires, btw!
I have these tires on a Frontier 265 60 18. I put them on at 11,000 miles I now have 160,000. I don't how they have lasted this long all I can say is they are great tires. Most of my driving is on the highway and they are great in the rain. I'm buying another set soon and the ones now don't look like drag slicks either.
My dad has used only these tires on his ‘97 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins. They are smooth, quiet and he routinely gets 60,000 miles out of them. He is on his third set.
Great video and review. When I purchased my first Truck, a 2021 Trd Pro Tundra, (used) it came with the ridge grapplers. It looked awesome however the road noise and wet weather traction was a concern. For the same reasons, fuel, comfort and type of driving I swapped to the Michelin LTX MS tires. Every review has been incredible and I would add to that consensus. They are not sexy to look at but man they check all the boxes. Very happy with these tires.
Beautiful truck. Used to have a set of Cooper MT tires on my Ram, looked cool. OMG after a year I took them off, couldn't hear myself think and they only got worse with time. Love your choice of tires...and I am a grandpa. Might have to try these next. Running Cooper xlt at3 now and pretty happy, very quiet.
These are the best & longest lasting tires I’ve ever used. I have them on my Armada and my highway cruising and towing 2WD truck that I don’t take off much but do a good job off. I don’t use them on my off road 4wd drive but that is understandable.
I agree with you . The road noise is awful on all the all terrains. There are no quiet AT tires that look like an off road tire. I’m tired of the noise. Going to the Michelin next .KO2 are too noisy and too much vibration
This video is spot on. I don't think the defenders can be beat for these full size trucks. Sure they don't have quite the aggressive look you'd like but their performance is unmached.
Awesome truck! You're absolutely right about the snow performance. I live in michigan and I rarely have to use 4wd. They're not cheap but one of the best tires out there. Really quiet on highway.
21.5k miles on these tires in this video??? That's impressive. I am at that same mileage on my Transforce AT's that came on our (also black) Laramie 22' 2500 Hemi, and you can almost see the top of Abe Lincoln's head. Haha. Thank you for sharing this review! Definitely top choice tire after seeing this review.
Have these tires on my 2500 suburban and love them so much i got them form my silverado 1500, amazing all around tire, live in Wisconsin and dont need a snow set. These are great
I live in NE Ohio also. I know that culdesac!! The place for burnouts and that nice long straight a way. Too funny I saw your video. Just got these tires for my Acura MDX.
Thanks for posting this. Like you said not a lot of reviews on these. I'm thrown between these bfg ta ko2, and Firestone destination xt. I know they are all different types pretty much but, those are my options at Costco. I'm going to put them on my jeep jku with 4"lift running 35x12.5/20s. I have toyo mts and I hate them. Too rough and noisy in the highway with terrible mpg (I get 13-14). Hoping these will improve the mpg, comfort and noise. Not so much on the looks and off road perf though...
No experience with the m/s, but i had michelin ltx a/t on a 2008 f250 4x4. I'd need 4wd to get off wet grass. I thought the a/t stood for "all terrain", it was actually "Asphalt terrain". :)
Did you have to have your speedometer updated to address the larger size? I have a 2019 Ram 2500. Also this tire is wider than the factory tires. Did you have any issues with them rubbing against the fender or tire well?
I wonder about traction on mud or wet grass...stock transforce at cannot move my 2016 3500 on wet grass. These also are about 200 more a tire here in Canada so any fuel savings is gone on initial cost
I’ve had amazing luck in any situation but I don’t really get off road to much so I’m not gonna pretend I’ve pushed these tires in dirt situations. But wet grass, amazing

Yeah I’ve got nothing but good things to say. I think on a 9 wide wheel they’d look a lot beefier but I love my stock wheels

A great looking rig. Looking for your choice of tire for my Superduty F-250 for future reference.

Thinking about this and taking off my Toyo RTs, for long distance trips my toyos noise is nuts.
Maybe I missed it but what psi are you running? & your truck is exactly the look I want on my ‘23 night edition Cummins 🙌🏽 Thanks!
That look great I may be getting theses next

What is the difference between these and the platinum of the same type?
What load range are you running? Standard, extra load, or E rated? Just wondering thanks.
Thanks so much!
What leveling kit are you running? Building a 3500 mega to look like yours. Beautiful truck!
new 295's from tire rack have arrived. hoping to get your lift height for my truck. Is your lift 2', 2.3, 2.5 or 2.75? Pleeeze..
What tire pressure do you run these at? 21,000 miles and showing little signs of wear is awesome.
I typically run 70 psi empty and 80 psi when I’m towing
What about Yokohamas?
I wonder about traction on mud or wet grass...stock transforce at cannot move my 2016 3500 on wet grass. These also are about 200 more a tire here in Canada so any fuel savings is gone on initial cost

The stock transforce could not move me on level ground wet grass lol
Take a shot every time he says UMMM
They have been discontinued

35 BFG KO2s..
You put a soccer mom suv/van tires on a Heavy Duty truck? Lol
Beautiful truck. Ugly tires.
